ive just thought about it like this for the first time, instead of going to your phone, selecting multiplayer etc, you use the character wheel and it while its zooming out (masking the loading of the multiplayer universe) it then zooms to your character and thats you. so it feels like your online guy is part of the same world as the main 3 characters.

I thought this through and came to the conclusion that this is all bullshit. There's a reason why I never payed so much for a special edition of GTA, but this time Rockstar is forcing me to, cause I don't wanna miss out any content. The reason is that I always end up buying the game 2 times, one for console at launch, and then the PC version later. I've been doing this since GTA 3 and I don't like the fact that Rockstar Games jumped on the bandwagon of day one dlc(disc locked content) like all the other big companies.

Been working the roads into my map for the last few days. Then they go and release that map section, so i had to rework some of the city roads. Here's how it's looking:

I think I did pretty well with my approximation. I didn't do a lot of scaling so that could be off quite a bit. I concentrated on road mapping more than anything. What they gave us is great (some surprises in how the highways connect) but I'd still like to see the rest of it.

The PS4 is focuses on gaming, so it's target audience are gamers. Xbox seems to be focusing not only on previous 360 fans, but also families (kinect) and young kids. They're just going in different directions, whilst before they were both pretty much in the exact same market.

This business model exists for a reason - because it works. Preorders are valuable for a variety of reasons. The industry is not "doomed", and this practice is not going to change in the foreseeable future. By preordering, you're still paying the same amount of money for the game. Some of us will pony up a portion of that money early (as little as $5 at GameStop) to have access to an extra feature. Eventually, the blimp and everything else discussed in this thread will (likely) be offered as a la carte DLC, but by preordering we are essentially putting up a bit of money in advance in exchange for that early access. As a consumer, you get to decide if, when, and how you purchase the game or any of its associated content. Why is that a bad thing?

So, how in-depth do we think this Character Creation System is gonna be? Will it be like Max Payne with set; heads, clothes and accessories etc. Or something more like Saints Row's protagonist creation, where you can edit face shapes, and body details... I'm kind of wishing for the latter... But i wont be too disappointed with a large selection of heads, clothes and stuff.

I remember when we were talking/guesstimating the entry points in the Mojave. These really were great DLCs. Still have all four trailers on my XB360. Thought not to give Craze any spoilers, so I'll go back to my wasteland now.....

Seems to me that GTA is starting to become a little bit more like MGS4 with the customizing weapons, enemy line of sight, stealth, slow regenerating health and now GTAO? MGSO + GTAO = FTW! My dreams are coming true

All I know is I bought my e/cig about 6 weeks ago it has already paid for its self, I can take deeper breaths, I am already moving down to the lower nicotine levels with an aim to quit all together, many of the things I eat and drink on a daily basis taste a million times better than they did and I no longer smell like burned ass hole! The fact that they named it "Grand Theft Auto Online" seems to separate it from GTA V a little for me. Like a different entity or more standalone or something. Right now I'm thinking it will be like the Crew system taken to a whole new level. Crews are cross-Rockstar-game. Grand Theft Auto Online might end up cross-GTA-game.
