....time to start over with a new game now that you know....you're still early in the game, no loss. But yeah, what ^they said about Nightkins.... Good to see you found the beauty of mines now. Grenades are fun as well. One of the biggest "new" thrills from FO3 to FNV for me, was using crafted poison. I just opened an old completed file with all the DLC's done, and I couldn't believe my Work Bench Locker # 2 in the Lucky 38 is loaded with it. Time to throw for awhile....

Yeah the sewers are pretty much West Side, the Thorn, McCammeran, a few other places.... A couple of good missions on the West Side, plus a Raider camp to take advantage of, and a bunch of cool hidden stuff. Yep the game really wants you to meet the Legion in Nipton, make friends with them and do their mission to spread the word, just by telling the NCR Ranger about them. I think the speech check is, "Very impressive work" upon seeing all the carnage. That will start you off with good karma with the Legion, otherwise the hit squads start. I always go that way, then head to Novac, for Boone and the chance to set up shop on the hotel room. Makes me want to start a new game just thinking about it.

Don't worry, that will come in time, guaranteed. Go slow, enjoy your investment. ---------------------------------------------------- On my latest Fallout 3 file, first time ever I think, I have over 200,000 caps. Just finished the Pitt and Point Lookout, and got all those sweet rare weapons. I had forgotten you can also collect over 150 beers just from the Pitt alone. Now onto the EPIC finale, Mothership Zeta. Engaging.......

Why would anyone even want to go to New Vegas so early in the game? Would you even have the cash to get past the guards at the gate? I don't know, all that gambling shit is so over-rated....I took my time and did loads of side missions before even thinking about going to Vegas. Built up my skill against the likes of Cazadores and Death Claws too. You won't escape them, they are a great addition and major part of the game. Cazadores are extremely useful in crafting. The areas outside of NV are so much more exciting....do yourself a favor and explore the map. Find the rare weapons, the remote areas....otherwise it will seem like a quick boring game.
  5. \You have a great point, GS. Rockstar has a history of utilizing in-game security camera systems. Just to name a few, Manhunt, Vice City, and San Andreas saw them used for various reasons. The one that stands out for VC is when Tommy and Vance are approaching Diaz' mansion. I don't see a reason why they would not pursue this idea further with GTA V. Thanks for the thought-provoking topic.
  6. Yes I hope the Rhino Tank makes a return, so we can steal and stash it. Would be cool if there is a hangar for the Hunter as well, if it's actually available.
  7. Yup. All possibles. Brucie was a major character as far as I am concerened. Doubt we will see him, but a possible. I like Paper Company offical guy, he was very resourceful. Would be weird but interesting. Of course Tony himself, selling off Maisonette 9 for the rave beats of Melrose Avenue...cool observation Massacre. I think L.J. and Elizabeta would stay Queens and Bronx side, respectively. Don't know why but they east coasters. I know a few rastas out here, they love the east coast, and diss my home in the west coast. Might be a trend. I didn't really like Gerald but of course, a possibility. I don't remember Badman dying, but he would most likely stay Queens side as well. Still, would be cooler than the Times Square random encounter british chick that mentioned her minge up on the monitors. (Following a celebrity's 'bleats' as opposed to 'tweets' on Twitter.) Sara could easily, also return, being a fashion clothes oriented bitch. This goes for Marnie the junkie as well. Last seen returning to her parents.
  8. or eddie low the serial killer. lol If you did all of the random encounters for 100% completion, Eddie Low will not be able to return anywhere, ever. yeah. i kinda figured that out an hour after i posted that comment. i diddnt know that you could find him a second time. lol You should go through the game again and do all of the random encounters. They are really, really cool little missions. Plus you find out who *may* be able to return, on that small of a level. I mean, seriously, none of us knew that two guys briefly seen in missions that Niko were in, Johnny and Luis, would be the stars of their own DLC's, which were TLAD and TBOGT. i know. i retarted tbogt yesterday and i honestly don't remember seeing luis in three leaf clover, but i watched three leaf clover on YT yesterday and it seems like luis's voice changed from three leaf clover to tbogt. i have a feeling that they changed actors before making tbogt. We are getting seriously off-topic here, but in fact Luis himself, in theory, could show up in GTA V. That said.... I really only remember Luis in 2 GTA:IV missions. However, he does appear as a customer in 3 Leaf Clover, and it is in fact, possible to kill Luis while he is on the floor with the rest of the bank customers. That is, if you actually decide to walk over and shoot him. He is just, a customer in line on the floor at that time. 1) Museum Piece for Ray When you are in the art museum in Algonquin. He is the sniper, and steals the diamonds from Isaac. 2) Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend for the McReary's When you swap the diamonds for Gracie on Charge Island. Luis is the exchange guy.
  9. Buy Manhunt for PC, it's down to like $5. Well worth it. It's awesome dude. You won't regret it.
  10. Looks like Alex Shrub has the majority so far.......

  12. or eddie low the serial killer. lol If you did all of the random encounters for 100% completion, then Eddie Low will not be able to return anywhere, ever. Similar to what Dan said in another interview about Roman being able to return. The new game cannot foresee what choices you made in the previous game(s).
  13. From the Guardian article that TreeFitty found: "Like LA itself, Los Santos is a patchwork of neighbourhoods with a downtown area, a gang-infested southern district, and the prosperous areas in the hills." Full article, a really great read: http://www.guardian....v-preview-gta-5 Grand Theft Auto V preview: the inside story We get the full lowdown on GTA V from co-writer Dan Houser and find out how the game's skewed vision of LA was conceived
  14. That's actually really the way Venice Beach is. Surfing, etc. I don't remember if Santa Maria Beach in San Andreas had signs for these things, but the Santa Monica Pier is also an activity based area. One thing is also probably going to happen is street performer minigames or random encounters. Venice is famous for all the art and performers, I can't imagine Vespucci Beach wouldn't have at least some. Kind of looks like there is some person shadowed off to the right who may be a vendor or performer. Crowds gather around these people and interact. Will be interesting to see what we can do here.

Caesar probably has the coolest, longest, most detailed, and most informative dialogs in the game. Especially if you are looking for secrets to the Honest Hearts DLC, mainly Joshua "Burning Man" Graham. My last NV game I even re-talked to Caesar he was so informative. Best dialog in the game.
  16. Yeah L.A. County itself is like huge, as if 3-4 east coast states combined. But the central city itself is not that big. Someone once told me look at LA like a doughnut. The hole is the city, but the rest is the county. ( o ) It's spread out so far it's like bigger than CT, MA, RI, and Maine combined. Yep the Valley is huge as well. Ventura Blvd. goes like forever. Also in this thread, excellent job on your maps TreeFitty! They look great.
  17. The "Trevor one" was more than likely definitely part of a mission cutscene. One would expect those moves in normal hand to hand, after seeing the trailer.
  18. Loved the end of §an Andreas where they were all together for that conversation including that.
  19. Agreed. The rest is bullshit. There is no way the US-based airport security will be detailed other than this. Just a guess/estimate. Although today's aiport security is very tight especially in LaGuardia and LAX. More like GTA IV where the airport is off limits in regular game play. A GTA character won't be taking off his shoes for a security checkpoint. If he will, then so be it, but I won't be expecting that level of detail.
  20. That's him, Pathos, listed as David Shaw. Will ask my co -worker about him when he's on shift next week. Thanks bro.
