Actually it's like who has the dough, because they don't. Only the Gun Runners. Each bar is work 8K. So that is how I funded all the GRA DLC. The trick is to avoid the turrets, even in stealth or disabled they see you. The blue barrier goes up on any of the entrances to the exit. I take the far one, near the turrets, not the one the old man comes down from. Then I press up against and toss the *entire* gold bars up against the barrier. It falls as one bar. Now you are light, not overencumbered. You have like one minute to run through the exploding areas to get back to the exit. Then, run over to where you dropped the bars now inside, and make it overencumbered to the elevator back to where the suite is inside of the Casino. Go. Go. Go. It's a time thing. It takes a few tries, but when you make it, you are free, then you just walk out. Back into the Villa, grab your garbage can stash, and out to the bunker. Simple right? Takes a few tries but well worth it. 5 gold bars my first play through. So yeah. Then after, I always did the trick. It's too easy to pass up all those millions. Anyway, I hate New Vegas so I stay with Fallout 3. It is the best game evar. But your screens make me wanna do New Vegas again some day.
  2. Holy Quacamole.......you RULE!!!! Get rid of that man and make me your own. Sorry I meant...need any maps?
  3. Good point. I remember him vaguely from when I lived in LA. I see a new line up, more of a sampling of the current house/techno guys emerging out of Santa Monica, similar to the story of the Crystal Method. Although those two guys actually moved from Las Vegas to Glendale which is near Burbank. Could be anyone's guess who the music line up will be as far as new emerging acts. Would be good to have the old school radio stations featuring old hip hop, reggae, roots, rap, funk. Then new rap, and any new rock, if there is such a thing.
  4. True, but there is some objectives in that game that many still haven't ever beaten. I had to do it all, for 100% completion on PS2 and PC, so I can say... If you want a taste of the future games and how easy they can be, play the hardest. GTAIII has the most difficult R3 missions ever. Paramedic - Most difficult ever, of any GTA game. The reward makes it worthwhile. This mission alone is ten times harder than any of the storyline missions. Vigilante - Most difficult ever, of any GTA game. Done across 3 islands worth. Firefighter - Difficult but not frustrating like Vice City. Again, needs to be done across 3 islands worth. Taxi - Pretty easy, but stay the course and finish. Other than that, it is the Rampages. 10 times harder than Vice City. These take skill, and you will want to prepare. Have full health (125) and Armor, and save before each one. Full health is after Paramedic or just basic 100% health, but grab a hooker. She gives the extra 25%. Hey - it works, just go with it. Kill her, drop her off, whatever. It helps to have the 125%. Especially against certain gangs. It's the weapons that suck, not you. Make sure you have the full armor. Also some of the RPG Rampages can fail due to vehicles spawning - this will continue in Vice City. Get used to it, and master your craft Medieval Teabagger Wench. A trick for the St.Marks Mafia rampage is - you can use a Rhino tank. That is, if you have followed your EV Crane missions, which many ignore. Finally, the off-road challenges look fun, but can be a real fucking bitch. It looks like you can't climb that mountain, but you can. They really tax you here. Again, master your craft girl. You can do it. Best of luck to you. Let us know if you need help. I'm telling you the 100% of doing things is fullfilling during missions, with your tools. Not in the end as a reward, really, but you will gain all the weapons, health icons, armor icons, and police bribes at your safe houses, making rampages and other challenges somewhat easier. In the end, I just do everything as early as possible except the rampages. Remember, in this game, gangs hold a grudge, so you want to do everything on the first island as much as possible because once you leave, it is difficult to some back because they all hate you. Also I made maps of the hidden packages if you want, just ask. But yeah, it's an old game and looks kind of funky. Still - the classic. Also mind the PS2 glitch about the Purple Nines. It's an easy fix, but mind it all the same. http://www.gamefaqs....-iii/faqs/18503 The NInes will not appear otherwise, and you can not do the last mission against them. (They're gone) After that, Vice City and §an Andreas. Easy in comparison.

<3 Wha? I slow walked the 10,000 lbs including all gold bars, out the villa, to the area where you were originally gassed. You now have a new radio message from Christine there. Stashed everything in the bunker, fast travelled back home, emptied out. Then repeated a few times. Shit funded every weapon for the GRA DLC. Cool thing you can now use that vending machine in the bunker to exchange smokes, clothes, anything you got a voucher for. Dude, seriously. Oh...lol So its come down to lol. L0L. Just keep making those sweet screens. Do what you dio.

Yeah they are. But you are the shit as well Warlord. Thanks for talking me into taking my girl into the Vault buck naked. Base weight. That distracted the old man, who then sported wood, so I could escape with all the gold bars.

I left the vault with all the gold bars last two plays. All the rare items were stashed in the Villa trashcans.
  9. Just got the email from R* about the new trailer release next week. I'll be on vacation but don't forget how bad that dude looks with the rot. The 2nd trailer for previous games has almost always been more exciting than the first. For the 2nd trailer of §an Andreas, I realized they cut it on Avid it was so tight. Really tight. Really exciting, really cool, and it showed LOTS of game play details, maybe not story, but just saying. Yes, the third will probably be back to storyline details...but don't discount number 2 until we see it. I think it's going to be awesome.

Yes please heed the bOnEs warning. As I mentioned before, use one of the central plaza fountain garbage cans for stash. Then save again, if near the end. You'll want a save before the game end. That way you can still get to all the areas for the rare items.....
  11. Thanks those were *awesome* DuP! Especially the Crazy Storm and Flood mods.
  12. Of course but that's the foreground. With everything from real life squashed together things are much more close in LS than LA which is why Koreatown is right down the road from Venice in GTA V. Yep, thanks Fitty. Will be interesting to see how long the version of Venice Blvd runs in the game. It is surprisingingly long in real life. Same for Willshire and La Brea, will be cool to see. Squashed in the GTA universe.... I remember people asking me after playing §an Andreas, "Can you really drive from SF to LA in a few hours?" L0L. Back then I held the record amongst friends at around 6.5 hours real time, coastal less traffic. Usually it seems a whole day around 8 hours.
  13. Thanks for those DuP. Yep. Good to see some of the city in the background, but the actual name Vespucci Canals most likely corresponds to Venice. So far the replications of Venice Beach and Muscle Beach (below) look really good. At least, identical to when I lived in Venice. This game is going to make me homesick. Thanks for that Undertaker.

Yep you can sleep in the bed in the Police Station. I wasted a lot of time looking for a bed. Would go back alot. Also used one single garbage can in the main town square for stash. It's in the safe zone, don't save stuff elsewhere because most places closed after game end. It seems like supplies are low but there really is stuff hidden everywhere. Dean's Stashes are cool too. Back then I was probably more focused with collecting the cards and recipes and coins and rare stuff. Also high stealth level really helps on this DLC. I remember being able to poison tip the various spears which did a bit more initial damage. Save the cloud residue, and any other items that can be used for crafting. Love that shit. Liked the gas bombs too, but then again I always have explosives perks. Mines are fun D!0. You should give them another chance, leave them around for when you know you're being followed. I always left 20-30 of them at the Enclave outposts in Fallout 3. Funny to come back and watch. Also, savor the moments with Christine. I'll never forget the initial conversation when you first meet her. Speaking of which, how acid freaky was that first meeting with Dog?
  15. Tim Burton, Abe Lincoln, Vampires, Axes...it *has* to be good. Can't wait to see it. Thanks for the positive reviews. Same for FDR : American Baddass. That looks great as well.

@DiO: Sorry for late reply, but if memory serves me as it usually does, Danny Trejo's character Raul, does not mind if you are Legion. He should stay with you. If you meant any "new" characters, there aren't. Only side missions and unmarked quests. They involve members of the Legion and slaves inside the Fort. We had a similar conversation when New Vegas came out, and I remembered Raul is the only neutral party to the Legion. The rest will leave over certain instances..... EDIT: Checked:

Protecting the President will score with the NCR. There's a few tricks involved, speeching and searching mostly. (Base, guards) Killing him will score with the Legion. Again a few tricks involved. Having a certain mechanical part...... Can't remember how it affects the Yes Man.

There's a difference, at least in Fallout 3. You won't get many special opportunities with Charisma, but the Speech options are plentiful. Speech is very valuable. Note the sections of the map where they are located. Might be a little hostile now. If you are really going independant, don't forget to clean out the Fort.

Difficult to say in my case. 3 on PC. At least a dozen or more for 360..... On the XB360, I've had so many for Fallout 3, because the game makes you want to replay after each one. The randomness factor is high, as each game will have different random encounters. Your characters develop differently, things happen relatively the same, but differently. I just started a new game a few weeks ago and now already Level 27. Already thinking of the next game. With New Vegas, 3 characters. That game is ok. The DLC's are the highlight.

  22. How did you know? One of the best pizzas I ever had was in Chicago!!! Plus their hot dogs own over NYC, they're like specialty grilled dogs.
  23. You would be surprised at how many restaurants and even roach coaches claim they make the proper Mexican Food out here. In reality they make what the local populace will except. Same with Chinese. They rape it. Can't find decent combination fried rice even. They suck ass. But then again I am spoiled because I grew up in California where all food is killer. I think Liberty City is only good for their hot dogs and their nuts, just like in GTA IV. Put their weiners and nuts in your mouth. That's New York. Howyadoin? Faghedaboudit.
