I've been playing it a bit in the past few months.
-
I have to say D-O your character doesn't look much like you, the Darren Navarette guy looks more like you. My character doesn't look like me much either, damn limited customisation options.
-
I too found this highly disturbing.

He shows up in my game as an AI character skating around, as do you.
-
Does bOnEs still play?
-
Yeah I do this already, although I run and jump. Good to know about the music too.

which tv show character are you most like?
ViceMan replied to qwob's topic in Graphics, Media & Entertainment
I was a cynical, sarcastic sociopath years before you joined here. GTFO. -
Tis good. I'm still having trouble getting used to it, my character doesn't seem to get up to the same speed as the AI characters and I never get as much air as them. I used to keep holding down X but now i've started grabbing the board to get more speed up. I'm still pressing X alot though especially in mid jump which makes my character kick his foot off the board and causes me to bail. But at least I can pull off a decent Superdude 360 once in a while. I haven't added any songs to my new PS3 yet but can I import them into Skate 3?

http://uk.gamespot.com/news/gtav-pc-petition-reaches-100000-signatures-6400790 What is this proud americanry? GTA V will be released for PC, eventually. As every other GTA game has, deal with it. -
What vehicles would you like to see?
ViceMan replied to BuickBoy's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Exactly, and I can't see a mission involving recruiting a crew for your sub. Also, you don't drive a submarine. "When I grow up I want to be a submarine driver! Choo choo!!" -

Trains yes. Submarines? No. Not a chance. -
Get one that does get it. Will do.

I was showing my girlfriend the map the other night, just to try and explain how epic the game is. I'm not sure if she got it or not, she didn't say much.
-
Well I wouldn't know as I don't use it. *changes skin, nearly throws up* Well I thought i'd have learnt my lesson after my first attempt at using the dark skin, but it seems I was silly enough to don it a second time. *puts honky skin on coathanger and hangs in back of wardrobe*

Money (and things to buy with it)
ViceMan replied to Samurai_tbag's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
As Mr. Knopfler said; "Money for nothing get your chicks for free." My reason for saying that? I have no idea. -
Naval battles were the highlight of the game for me, they were done very well. If only more of the game revolved around them.
-
Or V on your front as a hint to women.
-
*facepalms* Why do people never get this right? Where's my niggah David Mitchell. Oh there he is.

The thing that annoys me is when Connor stands next to a knee high obstacle - normally a rock - yet he does the palms against wall animation and when you try to step over the object he runs up an invisible wall that's a lot taller than the object and falls back down again, it's especially annoying when i'm in the middle of freerunning and he stops dead in his tracks.

You recruit more Assassins by doing liberation missions in each district, you have to do three of each particular one and then a special mission for the recruit. There are six districts in total (three in Boston three in New York) so six recruits. Shipping depends on what you send, you can only send to merchants you have discovered previously - there are three in the frontier, three in Boston and three in New York. Different merchants will pay less or more for specific goods. But watch the risk percentage, if it's high then your convoy will be attacked, you can apparently go and defend them but i've never bothered as it only happened to me once. Later on you can get naval convoys that ship to other places in the world, these tend to have more capacity and pay a lot more for goods. To start out with though I found the most lucrative item was beaver pelts. I'm sure though that the game differentiates between pelts you have bought from your homestead and ones you have collected yourself through hunting. Oh and to craft more valuable items you have to collect almanac pages.

IGN Q&A with Dan Houser.
ViceMan replied to JamieMilne's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Elizabeta was jailed for life in IV so she couldn't really appear in it. I predict Jonny or Luis won't be in, but it would be funny if Luis was in it during a bank heist and repeating his initial appearance from GTA IV, lying on the floor as a hostage. -
Connor reacts in strange ways, he gets angry for no real reason, especially with Achilles. He seems to have the whole Anakin Skywalker "yo' killed mah mamma now i'mma take it out on the world" thing going on. Sadly there's only a finite amount of naval missions, they are the one thing I really like about the game and are presented really well; the ambience, the quality of the sea itself. If only they were longer and not just standalone missions, i'd like to be able to sail out of port myself and onto the high seas.

Can you create a character and give them certain moves?
