  1. I want to use the scaled or hide armour on my Nord all the way through, either that or the Nordic carved armour. That would mean creating a game-breaking fortify smithing potion with the enchant-fortify restoration-enchant trick though.
  2. Same here, I have about 116,000. From that wiki page I posted apparently they will only agree if they are at home and not actually working at the mill. Seems odd but...
  3. I tried the lumber mill way, didn't seem to have any effect. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Homestead When I asked at Half-Moon Mill the owner said no. Fuck that bitch.
  4. Don't get me wrong, tis a good add-on that I have been looking forward to. I feel by using these new gameplay mechanics on the PC version people could make some epic buildable houses.
  5. Good enough. *portal opens and green viscous tentacles emerge, pulling Massacre into the bleak depths of PS3 fanboyism*
  6. There are only four or five children available for adoption. Since they are all human and not mer and i'm playing as an Orc i'm not going to bother for the time being. I also got the letter from the Falkreath steward when starting the game, and one telling me Breezehome could be updated to accommodate children. I've finished the Falkreath one, I didn't know once something's been built it removes the other options. I wanted the enchanter's tower but i'd already built the storage room. Plus I accidentally did the storm call shout while in the house and all the furnishings went apeshit and are currently scattered all over the floor - i'm not clearing that shit up. Also it caused my bard to attack me and gave me a bounty... I CAN'T EVEN SHOUT IN MY OWN FUCKING HOME!
  7. Who knows what sort of crazy shit you get up to with that thing.
  8. So Hearthfire seems a little buggy, nothing game-breaking though. Mainly to do with the drafting table and carpenter's bench not displaying the correct things. Playing this had really made me want to get back into Skyrim modding on the PC, but i'm hesitant to until i've got a newer comp. I want to build my own home out in the sticks and eventually turn it into a small town with a forge, a general shop, inn and farm.
  9. Lurkers are pretty easy to beat with my melee "tough as fuckin' nails" Orc. Just keep circling while swinging my drain health Orcish war axe. I was reading about the Ebony Warrior and Karstaag... now they sound like a challenge. Pity the Ebony Warrior only appears at level 80 and i'll never reach that. Oh and what's the point of riding a dragon if you can't actually fly it yourself? Plus you have to wait for one to appear so you can tame it. Can you ride Odahviing? I haven't tried. By the time the shout meter has recharged to allow you to use bend will he'll have buggered off.
  10. I completed the Dragonborn quest a few days ago, I liked Apocrypha, it was a rather bizarre change from the norm. Also I had a mindcum when I first reached Soltheim, I noticed the volcano and just assumed it was on the island. Then I realised it was Red Mountain... My reaction was "ZOMGZORZ!!!!!!" I feel the need to play through as a Nord now just so I can have an excuse to use the Nordic Carved Armour and weapons.
  11. Wait, you've had it how long and you're only level 10? Did you start another character?
  12. Find some old games to trade in to recoup some of your losses. It'll be worth it.
  13. And remember you don't have to do missions, you don't have to do anything. You can spend hours exploring, clearing dungeons etc. Hunting animals to level up skills and collect their pelts is what I find best to do first thing.
  14. Yeah, just don't expect to know what's going on for the first few hours. Sit in a quiet room, close the door, (optional; have a wank,) load it up and try to take in as much of it as possible. There are multilayered plots at work in the opening scene, so you'll have Stormcloaks, Imperials, dragons, Thalmor and mead with juniper berries in coming out of your arse. You probably won't absorb it all in your first playthrough, I didn't. Try to think of what style of play you want to use though; do you want to use melee, magic or a combination of both? Do you want to sneak around like a muh'fuckah or run in hacking and slashing? That will govern what race you choose to play as. If you want a good all rounder i'd suggest a Breton or a Dark Elf to begin with, i'm sure the others will offer their own ideas and thoughts too.
  15. I had never played an ES game before this. I am not generally a fan of fantasy games either, at least not ones that involves wizards, trolls and elves. It was one of those many games - like AC - that I was oblivious to, I don't really keep track of all the new games coming out and Skyrim was no exception. I started hearing people raving about it on here after its release, Psy especially - not to mention the Skyrim-related status updates, so in the end I decided to venture into this topic and see what all the fuss was about. After a bit of convincing I decided to buy it and have a go. Countless hundreds of hours and still playing over a year later, the rest is history. TL;DR Fucking buy it. Also; Lol, those four hours came and went... how wrong I was.
  16. The post-game missions weren't really missions. I seem to remember going to the marker, watching a cutscene of the British ships firing at the crowd and that's it.
  17. GAME still have the posters up in their shop with the "coming spring 2013" bit on it. I lol'd.
  18. you watched all 49 minutes? i skipped around for a couple of minutes and didn't see anything but guys riding down a road trying to pull people over... Skipped first minute of him droning away in the garage, watched a few minutes, started yawning profusely and skipped through a bit then got really bored. Niggas must have plenty of free time on their hands to be doing that shit.
  19. Do all American police reverse into cars as they attempt to block traffic? They didn't seem too bothered by it so I assume it's standard procedure.
  20. Because apparently we aren't good enough to be American.
  21. Oh has it been released already? Meh, i'll wait for Hearthfire.
  22. TDM or CTB in Tesoro Azul - fucking ace. I used to get so many headshots with the bolt action rifle there it was untrue, I think one match I finished with 25-30. It must have been a CTB game as it doesn't record the totals in TDM games for some reason, only capture-based games.
  23. I was wondering if all the shops that had put up posters for the spring release have had to take them all down again. Which made me wonder, R* obviously know how far the game is in development, so why did they confidently print the posters indicating a spring release? If they are behind on schedule then they would have anticipated the delay and not bothered to announce the spring release, if it's something major that has cropped up at the last minute however; which doesn't sound likely as the basic game engine is the same as GTA IV's and so should be quite stable.
  24. I like TDM with a full server, I just sneak around and pick people off while they are engaged in the melee. It's always good when your teammates aren't total noobs too who just run in and get slaughtered too. I think every game had at least one Asian pre-teen with a headset screaming down the mic in a squeaky voice every time they got killed.
