  1. Like Alonzo Harris in Training Day ( Great Movie ). Not a beat cop but a CRASH anti-gang cop or an undercover NARC. Beat cop was covered in LA Noire and wouldn't give you the freedom that being a Corrupt Detective would. I want him to be low on the totem pole.. a vulnerable newb. Ohhh! I get it. So he starts from the bottom and works his way up to gain more power and influence. Sounds good to me.
  2. Another great idea, most modern luxury cars have great security that would take more time to bypass ( than just breaking the window and using a screwdriver to start the ignition, or cutting and rejoining wires ). They should implement immobilizers so that if you steal one of these cars and don't bypass the security system, the cars engine shuts down, the doors lock and the police are notified of your location. To bypass this you would need to hack the cars computer and override the immobilization system. And you would only get the device for this later in the game. Maybe through a chop shop side mission from a business front you can acquire in game. Instead of that "cheat", they should make Safehouses easier to defend and start sieges in, by adding booby-traps like - rigged shotguns, motion sensor/ remote activated bombs, automated turrets that fire at anything that moves, having the ability to release guard dogs or other animals ( tigers? ), having other mafia/gang members defending your apartment/ compound/ mansion. And lastly being able to barricade certain areas so you can funnel the Police /FIB/ Army into these traps or to your defensive position. Obviously this would be alot more fun if the Law Enforcemnent was tougher. So they should have attack dogs/ flash bangs/ tear gas / riot shields and hand grenades ( for the Army ). Also would be great if the police had a high powered water cannon for Riots at their headquaters. Would be fun to use against NPC's. And a Grenade Launcher that can launch tear gas ( for more fun with NPC's, seeing them crying and vomiting ).
  3. I like this. You should only be able to have weapons that can be carried realistically and hidden effectively. Fot instance wearing a Jacket so you can hide a sawn-off shotgun down the back of your pants, and multiple semi-automatic pistols and machine pistols in your pockets ( and being able to dual wield these ) and in hidden holsters. Plus knives and other hidden close quarter weapons. And if you want a bigger weapon like an SMG/ Assault Rifle/ Rocket Launcher you could customize your car to carry weapons in a hidden compartment in the trunk. And take one out when you need it. Also being able to customize your weapons. For instance having an M16 and being able to add an underslung 203 grenade launcher, a high powered scope, suppressor, laser sight attachment, and taped dual mags to make the weapon more efficient and valuble. If they re-introduce the RPG elements from San Andreas, it would be great to make the player's character really obese, go and hassle the police only to get tazed, and then laugh in their faces as the tazer has no effect.
  4. Same, that mission took me forever. So much RAGEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Great Cities with Criminal Elements: Ciudad Juarez or Mexico City, Mexico - Mexican Drug Cartels and the street gangs they control London, England - All the Firms in the City vying for control Kingston, Jamaica - UltraViolent Yardie Gangs Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - The Gangs in the Favelas ( City of God ) Cape Town or Johannesburg, South Africa - Slums and Gangs Grozny, Chechnya - Plenty of Mafia and Gangs, very dangerous Detroit, USA - Murder Capital of the USA ( also hometown of D12 and Royce Da 5'9 ) Baghdad, Iraq - A very safe place, especially for Americans Caracas, Venezuela - There are areas here that police dare not go Mogadishu, Somalia - Remember Black Hawk Down ( even US Marines have a hard time here ) And there are plenty of other dangerous places in the world that could be used as an inspiration for a fictional city in GTA.
  6. What I hated in GTAlV: - Friends Phone Calls and Activities - The Activites themselves ( which were just repetitive mini games ) - Lack of Clothing Variation in the Stores - Inability to customize vehicles - Getting Killed and having to restart a mission again from the beginning ( needs a better checkpoint system ) - Strippers having tape covered nipples - Clicking on littlelaceysurprise.com and instead of there being any pics getting a 4 Star Wanted Level - And lastly shooting 200 Pigeons and getting fuck all for my efforts If Rockstar can improve on these things GTAV will be GREAT!!!
  7. Sounds pretty original. Also kind of like Red Dead Redemptions story ( the dealing with your former gang part ). Hopefully Rockstar does a compelling story with some unpredictable twists thrown in.
  8. Like Alonzo Harris in Training Day ( Great Movie ). Not a beat cop but a CRASH anti-gang cop or an undercover NARC. Beat cop was covered in LA Noire and wouldn't give you the freedom that being a Corrupt Detective would.
  9. Same, bigger is better. You know how many times I've played Madden? Never! But thats probably because I don't know anything about American Football. Graphics might be a major draw card for a game but it's not going to keep your attention without great content-filled gameplay aswell.
  10. Tags ( yes again ) in the Ghetto part of LA ( South Central/ East LA ). Film Reels in Hollywood. And Surf Boards in Malibu/ Santa Monica.
  11. San Fierro and Las Venturas might not return, but perhaps there might be a variation of San Diego. San Diego would be a great additional city because of the violent reputation of it's gangs. It might even be considered more dangerous than Los Angeles. Especially with the increase in power the Mexican Drug Cartels have over the local gangs there.

    360 vs PS3

Heavy Rain was a great game with a great story. What set's it apart from other games is the freedom the player has in the protaganist(s) actions. And the way the storyline is shaped to fit the player's choices. There are tonnes of different outcomes to your many actions and multiple endings to the story aswell. Quantic Dream and David Cage are very creative and original in their approach to their games. They also made a game called Fahrenheit which was on the PS2, and had a similar layout to Heavy Rain and was a great game aswell. Lookout for Beyond: Two Souls next year, it should be great ( only on the PS3 though ).
  13. Money was not a major part of the storyline in GTA lV. Even though you ended up making a relatively large amount of money by the end of the game, you couldn't really spend it on anything. Making the whole process of doing missions for people and making money an exercise in futility. Hopefully in this game you have a few more things you can spend your cash on ( other than pay n sprays and hotdogs ).

    360 vs PS3

Infamous 1 was a great original game, and 2 was pretty solid but really didn't change anything from 1. Hopefully with Infamous 3 they actually do something radically different. Like more enviromental destruction to make you feel more powerful.
  15. HA! A release date for a trailer. How about they just release the trailer.
  16. Cause and effect. A cop walks up to you and punches you in the face just because he thinks you're being a "smug asshole", whether he's a cop or not, you're gonna hit him back because the cop started it and everyone can see the cop started it. When the hell is a cop going to punch you for no reason other then looking like a smug asshole? If a cop decided it was a good idea to clock you, then he probably had a good reason. Unless cops are different in the UK to AUS most of them are pretty reasonable people just trying to do their job. All the crap that cops take these days from everyone I wouldn't blame them for hitting someone. Maybe then there would be some respect. Here in Sydney most kids don't respect the police and think it's cool to hurl insults at them, because usually there would be no reaction. Also all the drunks and animals out on a Friday/Saturday night, plus these wannabe Lebanese Gangsta's we have here who think they can intimidate cops and there will be no repercussions. I swear they wouldn't dare do that back in Lebanon, because the police there would kick the shit out of them ( and rightly so ). Thank god you don't live in a third world country where you don't have any rights. Just because you can act like an asshole doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want.
  17. Same, I would like to at least have some idea of where they're going with GTAV, and what the premise of the new story will be. The first trailer and screenshots had too much speculation surrounding them it's hard to know what Rockstar's intentions were. Other than just to get everyone excited.
  18. Vice City and San Andreas won't come out before GTAV. Probably after.

    360 vs PS3

Are you trying to imply they're trying to create a monopoly? Definately, especially with cross-platform marketing. I mean every time you see an add for Call of Duty on TV, which console do you see advertised at the end. It sure isn't the PS3. I think this is just another factor in Microsoft's conerstone of the Casual Gaming market. Sony have done so much anti competitive (and downright shitty to consumers) shit it's unreal. Lik Sang, Removal of Other OS, Geohot etc. The list goes on. They are NOT saints, and paying for your users to get DLC early or to have your brand advertised is hardly monopolistic. Monopolistic is when you use your power to force others out of business (Sony suing a fucking IMPORT business is a pretty damn big example of this) and don't mention the 1998 anti trust-microsoft trial. Its ridiculous that was ruled against Microsoft considering they bailed out Apple who were on the brink of bankruptcy. I'm not saying Sony is a saint ( which it isn't ) and that Microsoft has a monopoly on the gaming market in general. Which it couldn't because Sony is a great competitior, and the PS3 is a great alternative to the Xbox. But I would say Sony cares more about their customers ( especially in regards to technical support ). And that they focus more on devoloping better 1st and 3rd party gaming titles than Micosoft does. I think even though both Sony and Microsoft are Businesses, Sony actually cares about having quality games, and being a true gaming system. Where as Microsoft seems more focused on the casual maintream market ( as does Nintendo ), and about making profits over catering to Core Gamers.
  20. I don't think you will need an Ultimate Computer ( even with High Settings ) to run GTA V. Personally i'll be buying GTA V for the PS3 because I prefer the Controller/ Couch and 50 Inch LCD TV and Home Entertainment setup. But if your planning on using the same PC for Rome 2 which comes out later in 2013. I would wait a little longer to see the recommended specs. Me I just upgraded my PC. My Specs: - Ivy Bridge Intel Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz Overclocked to 4.4GHz CPU. - Corsair H80 Water Cooling Unit - nVidia GTX 690 Dual Graphics Card 4GB PCI-E 3.0 with 1200 W PSU - Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty Professional PCIE Sound Card - 240 Gig OCZ Agility 3 SATA lll SSD with 2nd 1 Terrabyte Seagate SATA 3 HDD - 16 Gigabytes of RAM - 1600Mhz DDR3 G.Skill/Elixir - And a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit Operating System
  21. You should of just googled the question. If you've got a computer or laptop on which to store the music on your mp4. Then follow these steps to send music to your ps3: Note 1: The music you want to send has to be in your Music Folder on your PC. Note 2: Your PS3 and PC might have to be on the same Internet connection. - O.K if you have Windows Vista ( probably works for Windows XP ) make sure you have media sharing on. Then load up Windows Media Player on the PC. - Turn the PS3 on, then go to Options on WMP Sharing and from that you should see an unkown device ( The PS3 ) listed there. Highlight this and press allow to allow sharing, then click apply now. - On the PS3 select search for media servers ( PS3 might automatically find your computer ), then when it finds your computer select the Windows Media Icon and all your music on your computer should appear. - Just select any song from your computer and press Triangle to bring up the Menu and then press Copy to send the file to your PS3. The song will then be sent to your PS3. This will also work for Pictures and Video. Hope that helps.

    360 vs PS3

sorry man, I saw 360 V PS3 and thought it was a debate over which is the better console. Didn't read your first post.
  23. Should be able to own a tiger like scarface once we get a mansion, and maybe a massive shark tank ( with you guessed it Sharks - plus maybe you can feed them stray dogs ). We should have a fortress style gang safehouse where there will be guard dogs ( Pitt Bulls ), as well as other gang members guarding the compound surrounded by high walls and Razorwire ( this would be great for sieges with the cops ) There should be Zoo's where you can free the animals and let them run havoc killing NPC's. And I don't know maybe your own personal pet Tyrannosaurus Rex
  24. I think there needs to be some, if not alot of car customization. For instance there should be a Custom Chop Shop where you can mod any normal stolen vehicles. But there should also be a more specialty Chop Shop for Hot Rods, Low Riders, Muscle Cars, Sports Cars, Concept Cars, where the customization is more indepth. So you can really pimp out your best cars and make them more valuble and worth keeping. Also they should definately have Armour Plating/ Bulletproof Glass options for them, so that they last a little longer than the normal cars.
