Not if you have nearly infinite caps and two different NPC's that can repair your gear back up to 100% All you need then is to concentrate on combat related perks.

You're not going to last very long against an Alpha Male Deathclaw wearing THAT!!! HAHAHAHAH!!! Plus I did the 50 Perk Glitch in Goodsprings and still couldn't find a reason to waste a perk on Jury Rigging.

same... what's the point of role playing if you're going to take shortcuts?? if i need money, i start gambling or repairing weapons to resell for caps... i collect every duct tape, wrench, scrap electronic/metal, and wonderglue for the sole reason of creating weapon repair kits... just so i can repair some weapons and sell them when i need to... and once you play through dead money?? pssh, a good cap flow will never be an issue anymore... also, i don't really care about having the best of the best stuff... i go with what i like... my first new vegas character, bones, used the all-american rifle and riot shotgun pretty much 95% of the time... not nearly the best, but with the right perks they are unstoppable... It depends on how you like to roleplay. Scavenging for hours doesn't seem like fun. it's fun to me... Not if the stuff you are collecting is junk and worthless ( Skyrim is guilty of this as well ). Exploring is still fun, I'm just saying running around with broken equipment ( Armour/ Weapons ) while looking for repair kits or their components is not fun. It's probably a bit easier to do it with your cheaper equipment, but my Gatling Laser with the Built to Destroy Trait doesn't last that long ( also the low number of other gatling lasers there are to find doesn't help repairs ). Just one example, but another one is when I'm using Unarmed/Melee Weapons my armour degenerates pretty fast aswell ( Enemies usually get alot more strikes and attacks in ) and it's the most expensive to repair ( Enclave Power Armour ). It would be alot better if there was a more efficient way to repair expensive equipment on a regular basis. Hopefully this will be rectified in Fallout 4.

I think Rockstar has a chance to blow everyone's Multiplayer expectations out of the water. They have a habit of putting unexpected gameplay features into their games. And they can take GTA V's Multiplayer in a whole heap of different dirctions at this point. It's also great that they're listening to the fans, and you never know a couple of them might have some great ideas. We'll save that for when the new Warriors game comes out. And they create a massive Multiplayer experience with different gangs all over New York.

Would love to use mods but I've got this on the PS3. With the wealth of different mods on offer I'm seriously considering buying this again for the PC. If not Fallout New Vegas maybe Fallout 4 when it comes out. Either way I hope Bethesda/Oblivian or whoever is making the next game have a look at the interesting things modders have done with Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Developers should incorporate their ideas and design along with anything modders can come up with aswell, and implement them into Fallout 4. Imagine the massive content filled games we could get from the start.

It depends on how you like to roleplay. Scavenging for hours doesn't seem like fun. And it would take that long because the repair costs are tens of thousands of caps. I do scavenge for Repair Kits and the material needed to make them. But this doesn't nearly cover all of the repairs I need to make. And the casinos ban you after you win too much money, probably so you can't continuously milk them for caps.

Xbox 360 has the better exclusives, what are you crazy. I mean I'm not going to list the exclusives for both systems here but you sound a little bit crazy to me. Freakin Crazy!!! O.K I'll just list some of the exclusive games : Xbox 360 - ~ Halo 3, ODST, 4, Reach, Wars, Combat Evolved ~ Gears Of War 1, 2 & 3 ~ Forza 2, 3, 4 & Horizon ~ Alan Wake ~ Dead or Alive 4 ~ Ace Combat 6 ~ Crackdown 1 & 2 ~ Fable 2, Heroes ~ Mass Effect 1 ( but it's coming to the PS3 soon ) ~ Perfect Dark Zero ~ Project Gotham Racing 3 & 4 ~ Saints Row 1 ~ All the Kinect Crap ~ All the Dance Cental crap The PS3 - ~ God Of War 3, Collection, Origins and Ascension ~ Infamous 1 & 2 ~ Killzone 2 & 3 ~ Heavy Rain ~ Little Big Planet 1, 2 & Karting ~ Motorstorm Pacific Rift & Apocalypse ~ Metal Gear Solid 4 ~ Resistance 1,2 & 3 ~ Uncharted 1, 2 & 3 ~ Warhawk & Starhawk ~ Twisted Metal ~ Yakuza 3 & 4 ~ Ratchet & Clank ( 3 games ) ~ Journey ~ Valkyria Chronicles ~ Wipeout HD ~ Gran Turismo Prologue and 5 ~ Heavenly Sword ~ Disegea 4 ~ Deadnation ~ MAG ~ Modnation Racers ~ All the PixelJunk Shooters ~ All the Singtar Crap ~ The Last Guardian ( TBA Release Date ) ~ Beyond Two Souls ( TBA Release Date 2013 ) ~ Agent ( TBA Release Date ) ~ The Last Of Us Just take a look at the exclusives and make up your own mind which one has the best exclusives. In my opinion ( and alot of others ) the PlayStation 3 has the best exclusives, and more of them. -
I'm pretty sure you can do the Hotkey Ammo Glitch on the Xbox. And yes, most of the time glitching ruins the experience. And takes you out of the game world ( as opposed to drawing you in ).................................................... .............................................. But then again the drop-poker-chip money glitch is always usefull. Especially when I have to repair my Enclave Power Armour and Gatling Laser back to 100%. I couldn't afford to without that glitch.

Good Stuff, you didn't put the Wii U in the list. Everyone knows it's going to be just like the Wii. A last gen ( Hardware-wise ) gimmicky causal-gaming machine. Fight The Power !!! Oh and PS3 all the way. Reasons: - My PC is a beast and will have the best graphics ( by far ), but the screen is smaller than my 50'Inch LCD TV, plus you really need a controller for this type of game, and I broke my last gamepad. - And I don't even have a Shitbox. So thank god I only need one Disk ( Blu-Ray Baby! ). Plus the PS DualSock Controller is 10 times better then the 360's brick. Especially for GTA games. -
Gehenna ( from the GRA Weapons Pack ) has the highest damage output in the game, if you have the Pyromaniac Perk & Poison applied to the blade. Not just in base damage but in how fast you can swing the weapon, plus the fire damage over time. It's a faster killer compared to Oh Baby! ( the unique Super Sledge ), which is probably the third or fourth most damaging melee weapon in the game. Blood Nap ( Unique Bowie Knife ) is up there with Gehenna, especially if you improve critical damage/chance as much as you can, and get the right associated perks. I usually test out each weapon instead of just looking at the stats. This is because every weapon behaves differently, and this behaviour can make a massive difference in how well they perform in a battle. Of Course the Hotkey Ammo Glitch with BK Nuke Ammo can make a lead pipe into a one hit kill against anything ( but this takes away any challenge and makes the game very boring ).

My bad, didn't read your post properly. -
Love my Gehanna with 10 Strength, 100 in Melee Weapons, Pyromaniac Perk, Super Slam Perk, Piercing Strike Perk, Purifier Perk, Ninja Perk ( even though bugged ), Slayer Perk, Lord Death Perk, Elijah's Ramblings Perk, Heavy Handed Trait, and either a Bleak Venom or Tremble Poison added to the blade ( depending on whether your enemy is a humanoid with a weapon or not ). Pretty much overkill, since even on Very Hard everything dies in 1 or 2 hits ( sometimes 3 ).

The only thing is you don't snort freebase in lines like you do with Yay. Actually you don't snort it at all because it's got a hard stucture. What you do is you smoke it son. -
It Does: - Katana - Improved Chainsaw with Mods - Embrace The Mantis King ( Unique Mantis Gauntlet ) - Gehanna ( Unique Shishkebab & my favourite melee weapon out of the bunch ) - Nuka Breaker ( Unique Rebar Club ) - New and improved Ripper with Mods - Improved Power Fist with Mods - And the Two-Step Goodbye ( Unique Ballistic Fist with an explosion on a critical hit )

Grand Theft Auto Online
BlackSox9 replied to DuPz0r's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Improved Freeroam Definitely. I especially like the joining Gangs/Clans idea, and I think Rockstar have something planned like that ( because they alluded to the crews crossing over from Max Payne 3 to GTA V ). There should be something like Turf, where the city is divided up into sections which are owned by different Gangs/Crews/Clans. And all the members fight to expand the territory of their indivdual Gang/Crew/Clan. Maybe different Clans get specific Bonuses to combat and vehicles/weapons available depending on which part of the city they control. This may sound complicated, but I think they should do something original and exciting, whatever it is.- 512 replies

There should be No-Go areas in South Central and East L.A. Just like in real life. Where police won't attempt to follow you unless they have more force ( like say SWAT/Noose ). It should be the more power and influence you have over local gangs. The more they will obstruct Law Enforcement when you drive through their areas. Even up to the point of attacking them to defend you.

Love the GRA DLC. Favourite weapons - Esther with Tiny Tot Ammunition ( very handy for crowds outdoors ) Sprtel-Wood 9700 with Maximum Charge Ammo ( Green Laser better than Red, Plus it EATS through enemies when you have the maximum achievable criticals ) Medicine Stick ( I wanted a unique brush gun and the GRA DLC provided )

I want your name and address, smoking marajuana is a felony, and I shall report you to the AUTHORIT............................ HAHAHA couldn't finish that sentence. But in all seriousness weed WILL cause psychosis and permanent brain-damage after consistent and prolonged use. But that doesn't stop it from being a whole lot of FUN!!!

Sounds good to me.

Best Safehouse I reckon is the Brotherhood of Steel's one. Ammo Craft Bench and Workbench in there. BOS Palidin in there with a 100% Repair. A whole heap of storage. Has a good hidden feeling to it underneath the cistern in the shack. Doesn't take long to get to it ( One Loading Screen after fast travel ). Whenever I start a new game the first thing I usually do is complete the BOS Quests for the PA Training and their Safehouse. I Use the T-51 Power Armour for a bit, then go strait to the Deathclaw Promonitory for the Enclave Power Armour. I'm the kind of player that has to get the best gear as soon as possible, because I can't stand feeling under-powered.

Protagonist Predictions?
BlackSox9 replied to Rayge's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Listen fuckhead you could be 7 foot and solid muscle, and I would still find a way to beat you to death. Even if I have to take you by surprise with a weapon. Unlike you I still feel fear, but that would not stop me from taking a beating. I've been in a tonne of fights and I know sometimes you have to take a beating. You've probably never even been in a fight, let alone fought multiple people. A real fight is very different to acting hard behind a computer.
