  1. I gave my definition on page 7, But it really depends if you're referring to the classical definition or the more modern one. The classical definition refers to a story in which the Main Character " The Hero " ( otherwise known as the protaganist ) fights with a " Villian/Enemy " ( the Antagonist ), both are on opposite sides of the karma spectrum and are opposed to one another. The modern take on the word is more open to interpretation because there are so many other ways stories are conveyed, for instance the gaming genre ( to which we probably all belong ). This as along with other genres ( books/ movies/ TV shows/ comics etc ), have introduced more complex characters that challenge the more simple stereotypes of the original definition ( Good Vs Bad with the main character being Good ). At least this is the way I interpret it. But I have had a long history of being disagreeable with most people. So I could be wrong, ( especially if you believe in the Democratic argument, where the opinions of the majority are the most valid). End Ramble.
  2. His " Job ", that's rich. He definitely went above and beyond for his " Job ". I understand the ending and wanting to kill the assholes that put him in the mess in the first place. But for 3 quarters of the game he was chasing after that kidnapped spoilt brat Fabiana ( I might be wrong here, maybe you thought she was interesting? ), and Max himself is worth ten of her, she was worthless. The entire family he was protecting were a bunch of dickheads. Which again raises the question why in the hell would he risk his life for them. And that's what it states time after time in the game ( That he actually cares about rescuing them ). Sure if he asserted he was doing it for himself, like to test himself, or for one last harrah ( in battle ) before he retires. O.K I'm just rambling here now but I couldn't see any realistic motivations for what he was doing.
  3. Why don't you try looking up the definition of ANTAGONIST. NOT PROTAGANIST And good job copying the definition instead of extrapolating it into your own words. Look up Antagonist and try and absorb the meaning in the text. Alot of words are open to interpretation, especially Nouns. Smartass.
  4. I don't need to hide behind anything mate. Plus there's nothing wrong with having a pet that's brave and will defend you with it's life ( Unlike Rats ). One of the dogs here is called Tyson, the owner must be a real hardnut. As I said my dog is a german shepard ( raised him from when he was a pup ), so he doesn't have any problem with discipline, and almost never barks ( If he does I just tell him to shut up ). He's a good dog. And a much better alternative to a selfish cat, who couldn't give a fuck about you and pretty much see's you as a meal ticket ( which also kinda describes women ).
  5. Am I the only one who thought that Max Payne 3 ( singleplayer ) was a bit of a grind? So much so for me that I didn't even bother with the Multiplayer. And what were the bullshit motivations for Max saving these rich assholes? I would of put a bullet into their heads aswell if given the chance, especially that whiny bitch Giovanna. A bit of a negative for the story seeing as the rest of it was presented so well ( Especially the Favela missions ). And what's with the difficulty. I'm usually pretty Boss with 1st and 3rd person shooters, but I've died more times in this game than in the last 10 Shooter's I've played put together. And I was only playing on the Hard difficulty setting, I would hate to imagine what Hardcore and Oldschool were like. Did anyone play the game on these difficulties. If so was it challenging? How did you do it?
  6. Definately overrated, it's probably because it's one of the highest calibre handguns available. But it's not very effective in a real-world situation, where a smaller calibre hangun with a larger clip size and ( alot ) less recoil would be much more efficient.
  7. My German Shepard " Max " would eat your little rat.
  8. He could be if you're playing as " A Bad-Guy ", instead of just an Anti-Hero. It would be a great orginal idea, and kind of like an RPG ( like say Fallout ) where you can make choices between any Good/Neutral/Evil paths you would like to take in the game. Anyway in all the past GTA's you end up killing the so-called " good guys " ( The Cops ) The Definition of Antagonist is that of the " Bad-Guy " or enemy of the Protaganist " The Good-Guy ". The Definition does not mean you could not play the role of the Antagonist. But it's doubtfull that you would in a GTA game. Still an Anti-Hero is always fun.
  9. Agree and Disagree. It was a big disappointment in terms of customization ( I wanted my crib customization from SR2 ), and the side missions were pretty repetitive and boring ( what happened to the Septic Avenger Missions in SR2; remembers spraying shit all over the buildings, people and cars and watching the smelly mayhem created ). Really I think THQ got very lazy and decided they were going to release a half finished game, and ended up selling shit that was supposed to be in the original game as DLC. SR3's Main Missions were the highlight and probably the best of the series. But after maybe a week and a half of completing the main in-game stuff I traded it in. I hope THQ makes a bit more of an effort next time and crams SR4 full of cutomization and features. This isn't Black ops hahaha! Yeah I know GTA is not COD. But I think Rockstar could make a great Co-Op Horde Mode with waves of enemy gangs/police/army ( it doesn't have to be zombies ). And it would be better than Black Ops Zombies because you have the entire city to choose where to make your stand. Plus there could be 10, 20 hell even more players working together at the same time ( could you imagine the mayhem and destruction it would be great ). Ha, I think Tarantino is a little better than Saints Row. So I would say this is a shit analogy as well ( no offence ). While the Saints Row Series is a good bunch of games. Tarantino is one of the Masters of cinema, and I would say ( plus alot of Critics and the General Public ) he is equal to Scorsese. Just take a look at the Movies, Reservior Dogs is equal to Mean Streets. Pulp Fiction is almost equal to Taxi Driver ( in my opinion, even though Taxi Driver is my favourite Movie ). True Romance & Jackie Brown are equal to Goodfellas & Casino. Kill Bill is probably equal to The Departed. But than again after Inglorious Basterds & Death Proof Tarantino is running out of movies, where as Scorsese still has New York New York, Raging Bull, Cape Fear, Gangs of New York etc. Even though their movies take somewhat different approaches, both retain exemplary quality. Unlike Saints Row and GTA, where GTA is obviously the more quality product. Look at Saints Row 1 compared to GTA 3, Saints Row 2 compared to GTA Vice City/ San Andreas, Saints Row 3 compared to GTA lV. It's not even comparable really is it?
  10. Co-Op might be an interesting addition. I think they should make a 4 Player ( or more, imagine 20 - 30 People AHHHHH!!! ) Horde Mode, with endless waves of enemy gangs or zombies. They should have a rank-up unlock system, so the more gangsters/zombies you kill in-game the better weapons you unlock, plus maybe armour, armoured cars, machine-gun turrets/ bots you can spawn, call in air support, or extra gang members to fight for you etc, etc.
  11. I swear the artwork makes me think there will be Fronts in GTA V. And this Bug Spraying Company could be a Front for a Robbery Operation. And hey buddy; STFU To you it's Cartoony. But to me it looks very Cool and Stylised. I liked all the previous GTA artwork aswell. Vice City's Neon and Colourful 80's style and San Andreas's Ghetto-Centic Gangsta style artworks were both great. There is nothing wrong with Rockstar taking GTA in a different direction. As long as what they introduce is original, exciting and fun. And Rockstar has a habit of not dissapointing in these departments. I'm not worried. Whatever they're creating in GTA V, it will be great.
  12. We don't even know if there is even going to be a desert. Let alone how big it's going to be.
  13. Sure but a different city should actually be different. Variety is the spice of life my friend. And there would be no variation to the cities in Texas when compared to the cities in past GTA's. There is nothing in Texas which hasn't been seen in Liberty City, Vice City, Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas ( nothing different, varied or as exciting ).
  14. Agree with everything said here. Slow down time so you can actually enjoy the detail of the city during the day. Thick clothing won't stop a bullet ( not even a hollow point ) going through clothing. Unless the clothing has Kevlar or Metal/Ceramic plates built into it.
  15. Ummmm pal please name one city in Texas which is as interesting and unique as Las Vegas.
  16. If you're going to have a Desert-City Combination, the only legitimate option would be Las Vegas. It's more unique than any city in Texas.
  17. Maybe they're running out of ideas??? This guy should be Rockstar's new Creative Director!!! Great Ideas

    Fallout

I loot every body and container I come across, and still not enough caps when I sell the stuff then your doing something wrong haha. Right now I have like 30 thousand caps saved and im level 16. bought every implant. and a good amount of expensive weapons. looked up that jury rigging perk. That repairs mod i have makes that obsolete. Im finding it is actually overpowered. Im getting rid of it. Only took advantage of it for one day so whatevs lol That 30 000 caps wouldn't even repair my armour halfway :D
  19. Seriously that email does not work for shit lol I tried 4 seperate times, copy and pasted in the email, typed in the full email, each time I just got a message back saying it failed to be sent. Anyone else have that problem? I had no problem sending mine. Just make sure it's lower case: [email protected]

I loot every body and container I come across, and still not enough caps when I sell the stuff sounds like you use glitches all the time ... goodsprings?? where's the fun in already being level 50 before you even started playing the game?? no wonder you didn't know which perks to take when building your character, you never even played with him yet... fallout 3 was different though... there wasn't a weapon repair kit or jury rigging perk... you had to be smart with your money and equipment... but once the enclave showed up, wearing heavy armor or selling it, helped the cap flow... or help fund repairs for some of your other equipment... plus, you can be an ultimate badass wearing this; equipment doesn't always tell the story... . I know all the perks back to front and probably better than you my friend. I restarted several times after first taking a more "normal" approach to the game, and deciding I wanted to do an ultimate build. I've gone over all the perks experimenting with them and looking at everything said about them on Wiki and on all of the forums aswell. I procrastinated for about a week before making the ultimate 50 Perk Build for my character. And in my decisions I realised one of the perks I had to sacrifice was the Jury Rigging Perk. This was to make my character the Ultimate Warrior with all the best combat perks. I've done so much research on so many aspects of the game, lately all I've been seeing is numbers and stats when looking at Weapons, Armour and Perks. I think I'm too aware I'm playing a game, and this is stopping me from getting back into the role-playing aspects. I think i'll take a break from Fallout for a while I've already completed both Fallout 3 and New Vegas Twice, and am getting pretty sick of them. There's plenty of good games between now and Fallout 4.
  21. That's Alright . That's your opinion. I'd like Rockstar to either release a HD version of The Warriors or a new game entirely. Plus while they're at it a new Bully game, Red Dead game, Manhunt game, New GTA ( after V ) based in Vice City, and anything new that they can come up with.

Yeah I said in an ealier post I use the Poker Drop-Chip Glitch for money. I usually don't use glitches like this but I want to roleplay as an Ultimate Badass in New Vegas with the best gear ( Weapons/Armour ). And the easiest way to do this is with that glitch. I played Fallout 3 differently, with more reliance on scavenging. But in New Vegas I see the Player Character as kind of like a secret weapon. Which can be used by any of the major Factions to help beat the others into submission. So you're kind of like a Super Soldier able to take on an entire army almost single handedly.
  23. You hate Red Dead Redemption? You monster. Indifferent. Never played it thoroughly. Just curious but what didn't you like about it?
