  1. I skipped this DLC as there were no achievements. I was mad that they were charging for the missing pieces (Memories 6 and 7 from the game, I think) that they just left out of the game to charge for later. I hated that. I just picked up the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC for Brotherhood and it's pretty good. I came across a glitched achievement that is really pissing me off, but other than that - I am enjoying it. It's inspired me to go back and play the Brotherhood memories over again for 100% completion. That'll allow the price on AC: Revelations to drop a little more before I pick it up. As far as Assassin's Creed III - I like the idea of bringing it to America. There is a really good article on Kotaku about the pros of bringing it to America, especially during that time frame. It's like pre-Red Dead times; with an Assassin. I am looking forward to the tomahawk, scalping bitches and other possibilities.
  2. Man, I shouldn't have played with that glitch last night before bed, it totally fucked with my dreams. Anyway, I started with one Fortify Restoration potion - which I had never made before, in my level 100 alchemy - the potion was like a 60% increase in effect. I took off my alchemy necklace, ring, gauntlets and circlet (circlets are so gay by the way) and then took the potion. I then re-equipped the alchemy ensemble, and I noticed that the % which they would increase my alchemy went from like 32% to 86%. I created another FR potion - with 198% or something. I kept repeating the steps, making a potion, taking off the enchanted armor, taking the potion, re-equipping ensemble and making another potion, etc. When I got ridiculously high FR potion % (3227% or so), I started crafting other potions - fortify enchanting, fortify smithing and invisibility. Some of the potions I created are worth more Septims than in all of Whiterun. I had a Fortify Enchanting potion that was at like 620%, however it had no effect when I took the FE potion and tried enchanting some armor. When I used the 98% fortify enchanting potion I had created (also with FR potion influence), I was seeing a significant increase at the enchanting table - but not with the 620%. If I took a FE potion and then an FR potion and tried enchanting, I got some off the scale type enchantment options (Carry Weight +1925, Magicka Replenishes 578% faster, Sneak is increased 1127%, etc.). The only problem is when the FR potion wore off, the enchantments were only slightly increased on the recently enchanted items. They were higher than normal, but not exponentially. I was a tad disappointed. I wanted GOD armor. My Fortify Smithing potions fared much better than the FE ones. They had a higher percentage from the go. I created some that had a 325% increase and then a couple ridiculous ones that were 6887%. I used the 325% ones first to see where it would take my current weapon/armor levels when upgrading them and it almost doubled the damage on my bows and swords. I then tried using the 6887% - the damage points on the weapons actually decreased from like 267 to 209. The value of the weapons/armor increasede exponentially. Depending on the enchantment and the material, some are worth six figures. Anyway, I didn't save any of the shit I did last night; I just wanted to experiment with the FR potion and see what kind of effects I could get. I think I will create some superior armor and weapons with good enchantments and just create a shit ton of FR potions to use whenever I need ULTIMATE GODNESS! I will probably spend some more time playing around with it later this weekend. I'd like to have some magical robes that supply me with endless magic ability as well as a Doomsday bow that will fuck anything up. If you've experienced anything similar with the negative damage when using high % FR or FE potions, let me know what the hell is up.
  3. Yeah, I wouldn't want to ABUSE this power, not on my first game anyway. My next game will be much different. I will kill everyone possible.
  4. Ooh, I miss the Warriors. I would play it again if it was brought to like the Xbox Live Games on Demand like they've done with RE4 and other last-gen games.
  5. Eh, I just read up on it. If I understand correctly - I collect the ingredients for fortify restoration (some of the little fish and salt piles) and create a potion. I drink the potion, put on my fortify alchemy armor and create a stronger fortify restoration potion. I can keep doing this by taking off the armor, drinking a potion and putting it back on; each time, the potion getting exponentially stronger. When I have my desired intensity of fortify restoration potion; I can use it to make other fortify potions for enchanting, smithing and ejaculating. From there, I can rule Skyrim FOREVER! MWAHAHAHAHA. Sound right?
  6. Hmm, I just read about this glitch. I don't want to break my game, but if I could have a couple of super weapons. I wonder if this works with fortify smithing as well...
  7. No phone? What kind of proud american are you? How else is the protagonist supposed to get information from clients? Did you not play GTAIV? Do you think they are going to take a step back from the previous game(s) and not give you a cell phone. Jesus Christ, I can't believe the scottish idiots that post here.
  8. What kind of phone would everyone like to have? I hope they have an unlimited plan for data and minutes. Also, no iPhones, those are for hipster proud americans.
  9. That happens to me all the time; especially if someone walks into the door before you.
  10. I just want credit for killing the thread is all.
  11. Stoic Thread Killer. Speaking of, this thread is incorrect as well. You're 0/2. Red Dead Redemption 3? Did I miss the second one? Red Dead Revolver doesn't count; it's last gen and doesn't have the same name. You forgot to change the first post as well.
  12. He said he got it for completing the Dark Brotherhood missions. Not sure if there is any kind of hoops he had to jump through or anything.
  13. After completing a set of devious quests, you unlock a TORTURE CHAMBER with numerous NPC's who are bound in chains. You can spam just about all of your magic and combat skills on the prisoners without any kind of reprecussions with the law or attack from the NPC's. I haven't unlocked it yet, but I went to my friend's house to burn and the whole time he was spamming two-handed and healing spells on the chained up bitch on the wall. Really great place to level. Plus there are multiple prisoners to torture. FUN! A good place for spamming blocking and healing (and light/heavy armor) is in the Bleakcost Cave. There are like three frost trolls inside and you can just run around spamming blocking with the shield and healing with the other hand. I'm not sure if the trolls repopulate if killed off. I killed them awhile ago, maybe I will go back and check.
  14. I just get a soul trap weapon. Yeah, soul trap spells are for proud americans. Even if you don't have double enchantments yet, one of your weapons should have a soul trap on it. Whatever you finish people off with, use that weapon and it automatically collects the soul for you.
  15. I haven't been that pissed off. I double checked so many places. MOTHERFUCKER, I haven't been so mad at a game in a long time.
  16. Not being able to become a vampire is the best part of being a werewolf.
  17. Fuck Assassin's Creed. I have 59/60 Templars and like 99/100 flags in each city. Fuck this fucking shit. FUCK! I'll probably have to start over from the beginning and do the flags individually. I also need the achievement for talking to Lucy.
  18. I am a werewolf, well - a closet werewolf. I haven't really noticed any change in gameplay or NPC reaction to having the ability to go into Beast Mode, while NOT in beast mode. If you change into a werewolf in a town, you will get a bounty and everyone will hunt you down. Beast mode isn't practical for most situations; however there have been a few times when I was stripped of my weapons and armor or not been able to use magic and beast mode has come in huge. It's also good for clearing dungeons or other buildings where there are mostly melee wielding characters. It's also great for covering long distances in a short amount of time as the wolf sprint is pretty fast. You can heal yourself while in beast mode by feeding on someone you've killed. This also extends the amount of time you remain in beast form.
  19. I hate these silly threads. Wouldn't it be cool for a new game to come out without having to rehash a bunch of shit from the previous game?
  20. Zombie Outbreak - Survival Tips -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intel: I'm going with the Walking Dead kind of zombies - slow and lumbering, but dangerous in packs. Standard rules apply, you get bit, you get zombified - the dead aren't coming back to life; ie previously killed or people killed by un-zombies are not affected by the reanimation. Outbreak probably started by a proud american fucking a rabid monkey or something. Outbreaks have blown up across the eastern seaboard; the first "infected" bit someone, it spread drastically, wiping out throngs of people everywhere. People seeking to aid bitten loved ones become victims at their own turned love ones attacking them after dying and becoming reanimated. Only way to kill the dead is to destroy. the. brain. Refuge: It would just be Mrs. Person Eater and myself. Provided she doesn't get her ass eaten before she gets home, that's really all I would be concerned about. And my dogs, but they would have to be a secondary priority. My neighborhood is gated and since the power went out due to civilization; driving is limited unless someone smashed out the gate in a panic exposing us to the infection. The gate has been slammed into about a dozen times in NON-zombie instances, so there is a good chance my secure neighborhood would be exposed to zombies and blacks. Good chance most of my idiot neighbors would be turned as they always come outside to investigate every occurrance in the neighborhood. If a zombie walked through our neighborhood and looked out of place, my neighbors would go out and talk to the zombie to see what they're doing in our neighborhood. If the zombie didn't kill them; they would likely call the Home Owner's Association to register a complaint; but the phones would be down. They'd probably organize a meeting with my other neighbors about the zombie and hopefully all be killed and turned at the same time; then go home and kill their idiot spouses and kids. Within a few days, my neighborhood would be crawling with zombies. I live in a townhouse, the bottom level is a garage and there are stairs to get up into the second floor. There is a gate to the stairwell, which is pretty zombie-proof; provided they don't have superstrength or anything. I feel safe now from black people, so I wouldn't feel threatened by zombies wondering around. The windows on the front of my house would provide a great view of the action on the street and the third floor window would provide a bird's eye view of the surrounding neighborhood. I could reach some of my neighbor's townhomes by climbing to my roof and descending to their third floor balconies on the back of the townhomes. I would be able to salvage enough food and supplies from the neighborhood homes to last for a while. My wife also has a shitton of canned vegetables that I complain we have too many of, but would be very grateful for in this situation. My townhome is on a river, so if there was an emergency, we could escape by canoe/kayaks out the backyard. Not sure where we would go from there, but it would provide a temporary escape from a deadly situation. We keep a car in the garage, which we could load up without being exposed to zombie threat if the neighborhood was overrun. This would be the ideal situation if an immediate need for escape arose. Rationing: Everything would obviously be rationed. Meals would be limited to the food in the house. In the event of the inevitable power loss, everything in the fridge and freezer would be first to go in a feast type setting. Meals from then out would consist of canned vegetables other grains. The river would provide water would could be boiled in the event of running water or bottled water being unavailable. I mentioned scavenging neighbor's homes for supplies; but there are also three grocery stores within five miles of my house. Provided they aren't cleaned out during the mass panic; they would be optimum sources of supplies. I imagine they would all be easily accessed with force, but the hardest one would be the one in the bad part of town with the roller shades to keep the blacks out. I'd also scavenge homes for supplies. I'd travel light and alone. Taking only what is needed for survival. I would definitely check out my dealer's house and hope to find some major weight in weed. I would definitely want to have an incredible drug source to get me through the apocalypse. I would probably try and make daily runs for food, even to store. I'd search for any kind of firearm and ammo I could find as well. Defence/Offence: Currently, if the zombie apocalypse popped off, I would be in short supply of weapons. I have an assortment of bats, knives and blunt instruments that I could use as melee weapons. My weapon of choice would have to either be my t-ball bat that I keep by the bed or the wood axe in the garage. I have a .22 rifle; but I would not want to rely on it for long-term survival. It would be good at dispatching potential looters or dickhead neighbors. I hope it would be reliable enough to drop a couple of zombies provided I could knock out a few headshots. I would be able to setup a "sniper outage" I have friends that have small arsenals and I would probably try and make a trip to their homes to stock up, provided they are dead or the undead. I think a shotgun would be optimal for zombies as the more firepower per square inch would be the best option. I would be weary about teaming up with anyone and would likely be willing to kill someone for their stuff or if I felt threatened in anyway. If it was someone I knew it might be a different story, otherwise I wouldn't feel safe with them in the current situation.
  21. I've been on a Skyrim hiatus as well. I still need to go see what's up with the quest "The Throat of the World" and finish that aspect of the storyline. Outside of that, I still have Dark Brotherhood quests, Daedric Artifacts to collect and shit to steal for the Thieve's Guild. I think I am subconciously not playing because I don't want it to be over. I'm waiting for a DLC announcement!
  22. I spent sometime yesterday with the original Assassin's Creed. I still have a shitton of flags to collect and I have been neglecting it for the longest time. Also Templars to kill. Spent a good 3-4 hours last night with a couple maps and flag guides. The combat in AC is still my favorite, simple yet very elegant. I'm also about to get back into Brotherhood to play the DLC and do some cleanup on the other achievements. After I finish that, I will get Assassin's Creed Revelations. It'll probably be about $20 used by that point.
