  1. Problem is if you have too many people, eventually they will all get together in the same place and the hardware won't be able to cope with it. GTA IV got laggy enough with just a few people in the same place blowing shit up.
  2. Let me fix that for you. You can repay me later EDIT: having watched the video, I now regret embedding it into the forum. What an annoying cunt.
  3. Some guy said they're changing their approach to DLC. The Oblivion had a lot of smaller packs. I think their intention with Skyrim is to mostly have larger expansions like Shivering Isles. http://www.wired.com.../11/skyrim-dlc/ EDIT: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/26/skyrim-dlc-packs-heading-to-xbox-360-first/ I never knew about this.
  4. This has got to be a joke. If you want us to allow any window licker to spam and flame in the GTA 5 forum just to gain a few more regulars, probably at the expense of losing a number of the veterans, I'd suggest PMing Psy directly. I'm not getting involved in anything like that. I like it here, and if I wanted to read about CJ being the protagonist because there's a black guy in the trailer 9000 times, I would go to GTAForums. In terms of members, quality is far better than quantity, as the Fallout and Skyrim threads prove. You don't need a lot of people to have a discussion, just a few intelligent people with decent ideas. There's nothing fun about some cunt spamming 'WEPA' everywhere.
  5. It's been 7 years since those days. Times have changed, I can't be the only one who is past the novelty of being anonymous on the internet and wanting a place to discuss ideas with intelligent people. Why would you have several versions of the exact same topic? It just makes no sense. Keep it all in one place and you aren't constantly reading the same thing over and over. Topics in the GTA V forum also appear at the top of the main site. We don't want that constantly filled with stupid shit, so it has to be moderated.
  6. We already do that. Thanks for the advice though.
  7. Would you have kept both of these antagonist threads open then? Considering they are barely more than a few lines apart and talk about the same thing.
  8. Okay boss. I'm still not removing it only to end up cutting yours down to size for you. I think the original question has now been answered. EDIT: to your edit - there's no point keeping multiple topics about the same thing open when they are a few lines apart on the page.
  9. I don't see why you need 350 pixels of my screen to sign your posts off with, particularly if I'm going to see the same thing 3 or 4 times on one page. I prefer doing it this way than opening up in photoshop and figuring out how much space needs to be taken off, because I have better things to do. You're the first to complain about it so I figure most people are okay with 250px being the limit.
  10. I quietly added that a few weeks ago because I was sick of scrolling past massive signatures all the time and having to get a measuring tool out to see if a sig was oversized. Solution is to follow the rules, then it won't get cut off.
  11. It could work but I wouldn't be disappointed if it wasn't in the game. GTA really is about one specific person's story, and part of that is their appearence. Multiplayer is where facial customisation would really come into its own.
  12. For weapon racks you need to equip the weapon in your right hand and then activate the rack. For armour you need to activate the mannequin and give the armour to it (by pressing X on 360, so I figure it'll be Square on PS3). Houses come with random shit. I don't know if the butterfly jar has a purpose, it might just be clutter like cooking pots and pans.
  13. Even grocery stalls? Yes. But then they have like 11 gold so there's not much point. The stores in Solitude and Whiterun have much more money.
  14. If you get the speech perk that lets you sell anything to any merchant, it's much easier to find people to buy your shit.
  15. He's kind of like the Elder Scrolls' version of Jar Jar Binks. I enjoyed reading his journals, though. Fuck reading. I killed that cunt the first opportunity I got.
  16. Cicaro is the worst character in any Bethesda game, and I'm not the only one who thinks that.
  17. Yeah, but when you say that I think why not put both in. Because the more time they spend putting in things that don't add much to gameplay, the less time they spend on the things that matter.
  18. Games testing is fucking boring. What GTA fan would want to ruin the game for themselves by replaying sequences for hours on end trying to replicate bugs? Definitely not my cup of tea.
  19. Maybe the PS3 just sucks. It's fine on 360
  20. I expect the company developing Euphoria works on it every day. They had a huge hit with IV and they want to encourage more game developers to license it. So yeah it'll be there, and in an upgraded form. Will be interesting to see specifically what's new in it. Hopefully dismemberment.
  21. There is no pattern. Stop pretending there is. Try looking at what other projects Rockstar have in the pipeline, and where GTA V slots in with that instead.
  22. Elder Scrolls is always about cave exploring, however I agree I was getting a little bored of doing repetitive shit for lazy bastards. That's why I've taken to exploring on my own recently. I won't be playing this game much for a couple of months now though. Hopefully by the end of Feb there will be some DLC to sink my teeth into.
  23. It won't be there. The technology was being pushed by Team Bondi really. If it was an option, there'd be limited use to it. Obviously it works in a detective game, but in GTA it's unnecessary. I'd rather they spent the time/money/disc space elsewhere.
