  1. Not gonna ban anyone for arguing. Hate it when people pull that "I just found out I'm basically just a user on this site who is basically the same as every other user on this site" shit though, just cos my name is in red. Believe it or not I'm here as a GTA fan
  2. Regardless of what year it's set in we'll hear stuff about LC and I'm sure Niko would still be alive four years later, if you're that desperate to see him again. In terms of gameplay though, it'll make no difference. GTA IV still feels like it's set today. The city, cars, story, satirical shit, etc, all rings true to things happening in todays world. I'm not desperate to see him in the game, I didn't state that neither. I was just trying to come up with reasons. However I just found out I'm basically just a user on this site who is basically the same as every other user on this site. Yep nothing official but I'll try and contact Rockstar and get you that answer as it seems pretty damn important and it seems you feel strongly about this. I'll make this happen. Well I was trying to set up a somewhat intelligent discussion but you've completely ignored my question asking why it matters whether it's set in 2008 or 2012 (unless your answer of Niko being in it was your answer). Clearly I made a mistake by trying to do that. I'll treat you like an idiot from now on You were trying to set up an "intelligent discussion" (big fancy words here)? Maybe you should look back at your comments because they in no way seemed intelligent to me, I'll go ahead and just quote you on my favourite part of your comment, "The city, cars, story, satirical shit, etc". Now, I thought I made it clear in my comment that someone like me wouldn't have the answers and "I was just trying to come up with reasons." I brought up the reasons I thought it might matter, I thought the GTA V would be a direct sequel to GTA IV or at least be happening at the same time. I did not ignore your question, if I had what I thought were some genuine reasons you would of seen them. But please don't treat me like the idiot because it will hurt my feewins You should set up a blog if you want to post things and not receive replies to them. (lol @ 'discussion' being a big word)

  5. Question is, what difference does it make? There won't be any appreciable difference whether it's set in 2008 or 2012. None of the games are really set in a specific year, just an era that Rockstar can draw ideas from.
  6. Because IPB changed the way the calendar is managed and I didn't know how to fix it. No one complained so I didn't bother to find out. You should be able to now.
  7. Execution moves with bricks you've picked up off the road would be the shit. I don't care if it's too easy, a cinematic caving in of a random person's skull would be worth the £40 on its own.
  8. I stick to cider usually. Can't stand beer, especially the bitter-er stuff. Don't see the point in a drink that makes you more thirsty. If I'm doing shots it's either vodka or jager. Jagerbombs are the shit.
  9. What's the point in an easy draw? The further you get, the more people's expectations rise and the more they moan about the manager/ref when we inevitably get knocked out by Germany/Spain/Portugal/Italy/France/Croatia.
  10. EDIT: Actually I changed my mind, I will clean up this thread. But you guys can't complain about noobs posting shit and then ruin threads that, albeit faggy, are actually original.
  11. Give me a minute while I merge this into the pinned thread. Then you guys can stop moaning.
  12. You didn't watch the video either, then.
  13. It's not that "could care less" is American, it's that it makes no sense whatsoever. It just happens to originate from the US (surprise surprise).
  14. That could be funny in multiplayer, one pushes while the other sprays everyone. I'd by up for having a race down Mt Chiliad.
  15. English and you say "could care less"? That's one of the most retarded Americanisms ever. Allow David Mitchell to explain.
  16. Next topic in the wrong place is just getting locked.
  17. Cheers for bumping these up guys, makes it easier to find and close them. Love speculation, hate bullshit.
  18. I'm just closing this thread now. We know it's bullshit and it doesn't benefit anyone having it constantly bumped to the top of the pile.
  19. Do the drugs in real life where it actually does something other than make the screen go blurry. Save the game for other shit you can't get away with.
  20. Not just that. I'd find it difficult to like a protagonist that was hooked on drugs, and I think twisting the storyline to accommodate that would just be a bad idea. What's the story going to be, a druggie goes to LA to commit crimes to make money to afford rehab clinic? It doesn't work.
  21. NO VURTUL SEX? OMG! Maybe they could incorporate one night stands with random chicks you meet at a club, kind of like in TBoGT. Better yet, have a weapon slot dedicated to rohypnol. Just aim at a girl in the club and the screen goes dark, 5 hours later you appear in your bed at your safehouse, health fully restored and another stat added to your inventory.
