  1. Carl and Sweet won't be in GTA V because they are from the old GTA III era games. They would make it worse. Niko Bellic and Brucie Kibbutz are very unlikely to appear, as I think they'd be more likely to stay in Liberty City. Packie McReary on the other hand is seen going to the airport, so he might appear, and I'd welcome it. He was one of my favorite characters in IV.
  2. I'd think that the ones that only appeared in VC or VCS would be less likely to show up again.
  3. Ha. No. We might get some screens before new years, but a trailer won't come out for another month or so past that imo. Hell, I'd expect them to start putting little videos and info on the official site before we get another real trailer.
  4. 'Ted' may rhyme with 'Zed' but it doesn't necessarily mean anything. Besides in the move he says, "Zeds dead baby. Zeds dead."
  5. III: , , Chatterbox FMVice City: , Flash FM, VCPRSan Andreas: K-DST, , IV: Liberty Rock Radio, , Jazz Nation RadioThe top one from all the games is still K-DST for me though.
  6. Want to see next? An official website update with all those fun little videos. Expect to see next? Just screen shots.
  7. No it won't be, for the same reasons that GTA IV wasn't banned in Australia. They'll make small changes to the Australian version of the game (like removing blood) to get it to pass inspection. After all, this is Rockstar we're talking about, they're not stupid.
  8. One per island in GTA IV was more then enough for that game, and to be honest I think SA had way too many safehouses. I almost never even needed most of them. Whether or not we need more then four this time around will depend on not only the size of the map, but the layout as well (i.e. how long it takes to get from one major area to another).
  9. Woozie! "Carl...I have to tell you....I'm blind." 'Well no shit!'
  10. Personally I'm not expecting them to put in a theme park, neither Universal Studios or Disneyland.
  11. You can do it in Skyrim. Ya, but they can't be killed. It was the same way in Fallout 3.
  12. "My kids would be like the kids on tv." Okay bro, whatever you say. He bought a big house in a new city so he could live alone. Yup. IF there are kids they would no doubt be the cutscene only type.
  13. "The Grand Theft Auto III timeline is not necessarily over - but it is a different world to Grand Theft Auto IV - only the branding and certain radio personalities exist across both worlds. The reason for this was that we felt Grand Theft Auto IV was a high-definition experience and required different kinds of characters. That - and the fact that most people from the previous world are dead.
" -Rockstar And clearly this isn't the Los Santos of the GTA III era. No Vercetti.
  14. There are no confirmed returning characters from any past GTA games. Any site that says otherwise at this point is flat-out lying to boost traffic.
  15. *cough*bullshit*cough* If you worked at Take2, and if what you've been posting was true, you would be so fired. @ConQueSteD, I'd put my money on 14 or younger.
  16. San Andreas said it took place over the entire state. It said that from day one. GTA V says it takes place in Los Santos and the surrounding countryside of Southern California. That's what they've been saying since day one this time. Look, you can believe whatever you want to believe, but face it. Facts are facts.
  17. *sigh* The first information about GTA San Andreas already told us there would be more then one city. We knew that out of the gate. May 12th, 2004 "Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas...a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption; where film stars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gang bangers. Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets." That's what we were told from the beginning, after all the first trailer wasn't released until late August 2004. This time we've been told something completely different. November 3rd, 2011 "We are very proud to officially announce that Grand Theft Auto V is in full development. Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created. A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present day Southern California." Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
  18. "To be announced, To be confirmed, and To be determined (often abbreviated as TBA, TBC, and TBD, respectively) are placeholder terms used very broadly to indicate that although something is scheduled or anticipated to happen, a particular aspect of that thing remains to be arranged. Although the phrases are often used interchangeably, "to be announced" is subtly different from "to be determined" in that the aspect so designated may have already been determined, but is not yet suitable for public announcement." -Wikipedia What that means is IGN thinks it will be 2012. Nothing more, nothing less.
  19. Ok, let me put it like this: If he was a voice actor for GTA V he would be under contract with Rockstar, and as such would not be allowed to say anything about working on the game. He's not it. And it doesn't matter "if it´s not 100 percent confirmed or demented [sic]" we still know it's a bullshit rumor.
  20. No. No Gilbert Gottfried, ever again. It was a bullshit rumor then, and its still one now.
  21. His video implies that the vineyards are all out by San Jose, and it's 7 hours from them to the wind turbines, which is a load of bunk. Just sayin'.
  22. There are vineyards a thousand times closer to LA then San Jose. In fact after about a minute of googling I found one in Topanga, CA (the Milan Vineyards) about 39 minutes west of LA.
