  1. It would probably depend on how many filthy rich people when down with it.
  2. I expect it to be similar to GTA IV...no real reason to change it. After all you shoot people way more often then you punch them in GTA. As for so-called 'map rumors' *cough*bullshit*cough*
  3. This is March 9th, you're about 30 days off. I was going to say that, lol But anway I've always been interested in the Titanic, ever since I played that old back when I was in middle school. Wouldn't mind seeing one of those exibits either...if only there was one nearer than Pigeon Forge, TN or Atlanta, GA...cause Pigeon Forge is through the mountains, and I'll be damned if I'm driving in Atlanta.
  4. Don't donate to these people.
  5. I'm not religious, but I do live in the South. So that's more than enough qualification, right? As far as I understand, that's more or less correct. Heaven is for good people who have been saved, and everyone else goes to hell no matter other mitigating circumstances. In fact if you follow a strict interpretation of what most Christians believe almost nobody would get into heaven...Christian or not. But then again it's not too different then all other religions that have a good/bad afterlife belief system. Either you're a good member of the faith or to the bad afterlife you go.
  6. I wouldn't expect to see a DLC-only major title released on this generation of consoles...mostly because they wouldn't be able to make as much money doing it that way. If its DLC then they lose out on any customers without high-speed internet connections, people who have high speed but no XBox Live, and people with older PS3s and 360s with little to no HDD space to save such a large game to.
  7. *moved to Other GTA Games* They aren't popular because GTA didn't blow up until GTA III and most people by then couldn't go back to playing top-down games by that point. Also it's ludicrous to think they'd put them in GTA V...those are long full games. The only games I'd expect to see are more arcade style games like you see in San Andreas and IV.
  8. Well, they'll look more detailed of course. But really though, outside of landmarks in and of themselves its not exactly the same Los Santos as in San Andreas...its a much bigger recreation for example. And as far as anyone can tell San Fierro and Las Venturas won't be in this game, but if they were, again, they would be a new version of the cities...for example the demo site around CJ's garage wouldn't have ever existed in a new version of San Fierro.
  9. Hope not. It was annoying how you couldn't enter certain areas without getting shot. Ya, one of the things I hated about GTA III was how you could never return to the mafia held areas without being killed. Closed off a good sized chunk of town.
  10. More or less what Roman said was he didn't want to post in a main/pinned topic because he wanted everyone to see and read all the great things he was posting. What was it he wanted everyone to see? This little piece of awesomeness.
  11. Play as Sweet failing to do anything but stagnate and decline based on what Carl finds when he shows back up. CJ's brother's death is what caused him to flee LS in the first place, so if you're playing as it was when he was alive CJ would still be around as well.
  12. Well Tony moves away somewhere after BoGT is over... While the Liberty Tree suggests its to Vice City he could very well show up in Los Santos running a club!
  13. Yes, CJ would still be alive, but he would also be over the hill. I personally don't care what he may or may not have been up to for the past 20 years....but having CJ show up in a Los Santos that's completely different then SA's would really fuck up the tone and setting for me tbh.
  14. Didn't they have that, to an extent, in IV? In that during certain times of the day you had more cars on the road and at night there were less? To really work though they'd have to slow down the game's clock quite a bit, otherwise rush hour time would be here and gone before you could completely register it.
  15. Because CJ's story is over and done. You bring in CJ and now all its going to be is San Andreas II...and Rockstar is better than that It's clear, though, that he won't be back...for the same reason we never saw any evidence of GTA III's Liberty City in IV, it's not a good fit for the current 'look' of GTA games. What I'm getting at, really, is that for the most part the stories of the GTA III era are finished and finished well and to try to tack on some new 'stories' about them this many years down the road (after all San Andreas happened 20 years ago, Vice City 26 etc) would only take away from the originals. There's a reason the only III add-on games have been prequels. And as for Lazlow he IS GTA radio. He writes it, produces it, stars in it. Lazlow isn't a character...hes the soul of the radio stations. -EDIT- Also: Claude would be in his 40s Vercetti would be 61 CJ would be 44 Middle-aged CJ! Yay!
  16. It was a wasted feature in Mafia, it was just as wasted in Mafia II. What happens when your car runs out of gas? You abandon it and steal a new one. Why? Cause its GRAND THEFT AUTO.
  17. "El Burro is referenced as he was also referenced in GTA 1, so it felt appropriate that he should cross “universes” – the “universes” are the worlds interpreted at different definitions, 2d, 3d and high definition, so we felt brands and radio / back ground characters would exist in both, but 3 dimensional characters would not. This is the logic (as far as it could be considered logical) behind it – so no, we don’t believe any GTA3 characters could exist in the GTA4 universe." -Rockstar So I'd say no, it isn't, because Donald Love is definitely a character.
  18. Ya, something like that group from Liberty City Stories. Citizens United Negating Technology For Life And People's Safety Or CUNTFLAPS for short.
  19. This isn't Rockstar's first rodeo. They know what they're doing.
  20. To Q, in regard to your list: I would not want the late celebrities on your list (e.g. Marilyn Monroe & Andy Warhol) to appear in Grand Theft Auto V as this video game clearly takes place in the modern era, and the late celebrities in question have been deceased since before the turn of the Twenty-First century. Sincerely, OptimumPx (P.S. )
  21. *Moved to Other GTA section* The World Trade Center mod looks neat.
