Dynamic Pedestrians - What would impress you?
Rayge replied to Pothatuu's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Yeah that would be awesome. But maybe in 2047, not now. -
No, but they have been confirmed. How do we know? Because they are all over the place in the information we've gotten.

I know, but if that was the case this topic would be finished in one page because there's only so much pedestrians can do. -

Walking, eating, talking, working, talking fighting... And committing crimes (robbing stores, murder, grand theft auto) etc... -
What vehicles would you like to see?

Exactly, and I can't see a mission involving recruiting a crew for your sub. Also, you don't drive a submarine. "When I grow up I want to be a submarine driver! Choo choo!!" Lol, replace "drive" with "pilot" That was the whole point, you blithering imbecile! -
That's because AOD is the GTA version of Hells Angels, the real MC founded in Los Angeles... In 1948.

Money (and things to buy with it)
Rayge replied to Samurai_tbag's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Only problem with that is the save game cheat thing, like in TBoGT where you could bet massive amounts of money. If you lost, you just loaded up a previous save and tried again, and if you won... You won big time. Not really a problem I guess, but could still happen, not that it would really affect anything. -
Why would he only put 2 out of 3 protagonists in? Doesn't make much sense. If he only put Trevor in, I could understand why. But why not all 3? Maybe he couldn't think of anything for Fraklin to be doing But he's probably racist.

That is probably why most people here liked Vice City, because it was set in the 80's, a time they are familiar with. Also the great story and stuff to do of course.

It's Official!! Spring 2013...

End of March would be ideal for me, so I can get it as a birthday present rather than spending money on it. -
Garages and Car Saveability

Worst parking ever was Luis' house in IV. seriously, who the fuck would place a parking space there? In the time it took to park my new million dollar Infurnuses, 5 other vehicles lined up behind me and then eventually my cars got rammed out of the space. Also in San Andreas I never drove my awesome cars that I spent a lot of $ on because... It was too dangerous. Did it once, car exploded in the first 5 minutes of driving through Los Santos... -
South Los Santos is actually 'gang infested', much like the real South Central Los Angeles which was renamed South Los Angeles in order to try destroy the association with gang activity. And the mexican gang would most likely be Varios Los Aztecas or something similar. And if there are Ballas, there might be GSF as well, just with no association with CJ or any of the Johnson family.

Yeah it's fun to play through the story. Since then, I haven't touched it although I love the setting of Hong Kong and stuff like that.

I doubt the tear has anything to do with the map at all, rather a generic view of San Andreas with the mountains and everything.

Or maybe they were transfered to a maximum security prison in San Andreas (one in V) then they appear in one of the missions briefly. Probably not, but it's possible. -

GTA IV - Delayed RDR - Delayed MP3 - Delayed LA Noire - Delayed Midnight Club: LA - Delayed And probably a lot of other games have been, by a few days or so. Point is there seems to be a trend, which is not good. Especially with games of the current generation of consoles, practically every one has been delayed so far. -
San Quentin is in Northern California, and somewhere earlier another prison closer to LA was spotted in the trailer. Anyway, just because Franklin isn't part of a gang anymore doesn't mean they won't exist. Like I said, on the bench it is written 'Ballas'. Now this could be an easter egg reference, or they could be one of the gangs present in the new version of LS - with no ties or memories to the Ballas of the other universe except the purple colour. Of course the Ballas won't be identical to the Ballas of the 90s, but neither are the Crips who started off as a hand to hand combat gang and then in 20 or so years evolved into a violent gang participating in a range of criminal activities using firearms.

Trailer #2 Discussion
Rayge replied to Icecoldbagey's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
That's probably true, but I hadn't even clicked the link confirming it then. Plus I listen to a lot of Ice Cube, so I know what he sounds like and it definitely differs from Franklin although they share the same accent. -
Franklin's story is probably meant to be a minimized version of the stereotypical 'getting out of the hood' type story, somewhat like SA to cater to all the fans who love that type of story.

Trailer #2 Discussion
Rayge replied to Icecoldbagey's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
If you have ever listened to... 5 seconds of Ice Cube, you would know it's not him. Sure they both have the 'South Central gangbangin' style accent when they speak, but they definitely aren't the same person. Not only that, but Rockstar said they are steering away from using famous people in their games now. -
Okay, that is almost certainly a prison in the upper right of the rotors. Couldn't tell from the aerial view we had before. Most certainly, I believe there was a post somewhere recently including one of the thousand pieces of recent information comparing an image with a real life prison. I believe it was the screenshot of the trailer where the truck falls out of the air.

If the trailers are any suggestion, modern music isn't really a great concern. First track is from like... 1963 or something? Then in trailer 2 it's from 1987, which is great. I prefer that music compared to new shit on the radio. Hope a station similar to RLS is in it, playing the classic west coast tracks.

Yeah if they aim to replicate Los Angeles there will be gangs. As DiO said they won't play a huge role, but they will definitely be there. Maybe mostly as part of Franklin's story as his friend in the trailer (probably Lamar) is part of the 'hood' life, being content with 'slangin' dope and throwin' up gang signs'

I hope we see Yusuf again, he's awesome in my opinion. -
Tauren hunter (90) Undead death knight (87) troll druid (85) night elf warrior (74) troll rogue (36) troll mage (35) pandaren monk (33) My favourite race is probably troll, but my friend encouraged me to make my hunter tauren because he was one during my early time in the game, and I don't feel I need a race change. And as you can probably see most of my characters were horde, so in late October I decided to make an alliance character so I could play with my friends... Made my monk, but stopped at 33. Then I made a night elf warrior, and am currently leveling him. Warriors are fucking awesome, by the way.
