Admittedly I hadn't. I guess that's what you get for playing in Cleveland. As for the Rangers/Tigers trade everyone is saying the Tigers are better off but unless one of their prospects has power and is Major League ready or they sign a power hitter (who's left??) I don't see how it's better. Miggy will still pound it and they should have enough offensive punch leftover but I like the trade for the Rangers more than the Tigers. I expect David Price to be dealt too before the season begins.

I think Fielder will bounce back but if the Angels can get their shit together the AL West could be an even better race next year than the previous two years were supposed to be.

Retire? He's 25 years old. He's certainly at a greater risk of not being an MVP-calibre player again but he's also young enough to return to that level if his body cooperates. If Andrew Bynum can play 20+ minutes per game then Rose will be fine.
