  1. Sounds like fun. Wish I could play. I hope you all have fun :-D
  2. I spoke too soon. So much for home court advantage.

BlackSox, have you heard any info for potential TV on either console in Australia?
  4. Fair enough. It wasn't even advertised on their website. Unless they called customers to offer it to them I don't see how they could have "sold out".
  5. That's a whole lot of speculation by whoever edited your map Dupzor. I do think there will be an airstrip in the extreme NW corner though we've seen little evidence of it yet. I like the Catalina idea; definitely plausible.
  6. Home court advantage jobo!
  7. I'd love it if the race track looking thing was indeed a race track of any description provided there are uses for it beyond missions (bet on a horce race; be a jockey in a horse race [it's a vehicle of sorts], etc.). I was pretty happy with the size of LS in GTASA so if it is indeed double the size in GTAV it will be impressive indeed, especially knowing that there is another 2/3 of a map to be exposed.
  8. Does anyone really want to meet a 40-something year old CJ and 50-60 year old Tommy Vercetti?
  9. The SA+RDR+IV part is not about land mass but about playable area. ie. Mountains, water and inside buildings. Dupzor's superimposed map shows a city to country ratio of about 2:7.
  10. I like the free running idea as long as it's an acquirable skill. I'd expect Franklin to be much better than Trevor who would be a fair bit better than Michael. Free running would be very useful for ducking into cover but would really come into it's own as a minigame.
  11. I'm going to be in the middle of nowhere when the game comes out. Definitely scoping out all game retailers when I get to where I'm going.
  12. I can't wait to see what TreeFitty thinks of it all. From what I've read here I think Banana Pudding was pretty close with the size of LS and I think Dupzor's superimposed map is pretty close. Aside from what looks to be a race track, is there anything else anyone sees that hasn't been spoken about?
  13. I think the guys in this forum who have been working on the map have done very well with their interpretation of Los Santos.
  14. Spotted this on my Facebook news feed just now: https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/581794_10151680540685097_29597635_n.jpg
  15. Yeah I don't understand how the Spurs aren't more popular. They've been the best team for the past 12-13 years, winning 50 games in each season except the two lockout seasons when they were on track to win 50 games anyway. I'd rather be a Spurs fan than a Knicks fan.
  16. How much fun is it being an Angels fan this season? I reckon they'll turn it around but they might wanna start spring training in January next year.
  17. i would love to see that... but i bet the NBA execs wouldn't ... congrats on making it to the eastern conference finals though, your team seems to impress every chance it gets... now i know the heat will be a challenge, and really, the east was pretty weak this year, but it's still not a knock on your accomplishments... every year is different... It's worked out well in the East because a Knicks/Heat Conference Finals would have been all buzz and no substance. At least the Pacers can push the Heat.
  18. I like the mine idea. I thought the mine mission in RDR was decent so I could see that translate to GTA. I just don't want to see all of the heists occur in LS.
  19. How cool would it be if you could burn things? Torch an NPC; light a fire in their home and watch them run; burn a car without crashing it; light the forest on fire and watch the fire brigade turn up. Sounds like a lot of fun could be had :-D
  20. Aside from the military base, is there much in the countryside that seems worthy of a heist?
  21. Winnipeg, MB has frequently been the murder capital of Canada, but who the hell would want to play a game in one big city surrounded by prairie for miles in all directions? The only realistic area that would work (for jokes or otherwise) would be Vancouver BC and surrounding cities and towns. The topography is similar to California - mountains, metropolis, ocean - and the population is maybe 1/4 Chinese, so Triads could be the local bad guys. But seriously, it's just never going to happen, though the satire would be priceless. I was referring more to the fact that Canadians are all so nice that GTA: Canada would have to be a complete piss-take. You'd do more damage as a Cleveland sportsperson than as a GTA protagonist. Maybe make the protag play Quarterback for the Browns.
  22. Punctuation is very much a part of the English language. It's no biggie if English isn't your first language but it certainly helps to know it. Hopefully everyone will stay off your back about it but you are difficult to understand. God forbid we get voice forums though. Imagine a Scottish person on a voice forum!
