  1. Initial reaction. Would love to see crashes like this in. But then it would just result in having to switch cars several times during missions and driving around, especially in a chase situation.
  2. This really isn't something that would bother me. Although the mention of internet I liked. You didn't have to check emails all the time in IV but for those couple of missions you did, would of been so much easier to get your phone out. I don't want cheats on the phone either. Would prefer that to go back to the buttons.
  3. Would love to see more realistic cops. Nothing worse than some ped being in your way, giving them a friendly shove to end up getting shot at by a nearby cop. Also, things like wen you find yourself under a bridge, with the need to shoot a tramp in the head, or even a silent baseball bat kill. Then boom, somehow the police are immediately aware and on your ass.
  4. We get GTA V and first thing people think about is the strippers and hoes. This game is wasted on you people. ilovehoes
  5. Im sure some of the SA characters will be mentioned in passing. I imagine that will be it. Personally no wish what so ever to see CJ, Sweet or anyone from SA. Niko, I never really liked that much. Doubt he'll be there. No logical reason for him to be there is there? Same with other IV characters, except Packie. Packie I'm sure we'll see. Still think it looks like him getting out the back of the van in the Trailer Robbery Scene. I liked Packie more than Niko.
  6. Things like Saints Row are based around the protag being whoever you want it to be. Yourself, your friend, a 20 stone Zombie with boobs and clown make up if you wish. GTA is about a specific persons story. Don't think this would benefit the game.
  7. Guess it's just one of those games. Personally it wasn't all I hoped. I'm glad Joker had the main role if you like. Hamill's voice acting was by far the best through out and would be a waste if he hadn't of been. And in my opinion the game would of lacked so much more if it weren't for Joker. To each his own.
  8. Media would have the best time of their lives with kids being able to be run over or shot.
  9. For a handful of people to use it, it would be a pointless addition in my eyes. And what would it add to the game? I'd rather R* take the time spent adding drug use into the game, and spent it on a feature that will add to the story or gameplay.
  10. Personally, I felt the story was poor, and very predictable. And the voice acting was very weak which I was most suprised at. However towards the end when having to pick off each sniper was quite good. Rest just seemed to be get to a room, defeat the guards, open some doors then fight the main guy. Felt repetative. And some of the characters seemed to get bypassed. Like Two Face for example. The story begins with him, one cutscene, and then thats it, you see no more of him. Some of the side missions were okay. And Riddler trophies were fun, working out challenges to get to them. But I'm not going to sit for hours on end trying to find 400 of them. It is an okay game, and did retain my attention for a little while, just no way worth all the excitement and rave reviews from my personal opinion.
  11. Okay so I finally got around to playing this. After all the build up and hype I've heard and seen. End result. Disappointment. Story seemed weak. Had a lot of potential when it started, then emerged to what seemed a predictable end. Voice acting was very poor, with the exception of Mark Hamill (Joker). Timing of responses, the responses themeless, and over all voice acting, even in the cutscenes was just so poor. All seemed forced. Combat felt good, with it all feeling a little more polished than before, and the combat mode or whatever it's called was a nice addition, and fun for a few minutes. Possible spoilers I guess from here onwards. (Even though most people know how it all ends) Penguin seemed to set Grundy on us, then that was it of him. Just seemed like a sudden abrupt ending of that part. Two Face story started and ended all in one. Only gathered a few Riddler trophies, but he seems to play a tiny role in the whole game. Maybe I haven't looked into it enough. And seemed like a predictable and poor ending to the Joker and Mark Hamill. After all these years I was expecting at least Batman to finally finish him off. Poisoned seemed a very weak ending for The Joker. Don't understand how it got all the rave reviews and best game of the year tags. Seems poor.
  12. IGN are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard.
  13. Voice is not 100% protag. Either way, he's American. Even if he has British roots or moved to London then back to LS, I doubt very much this will contribute in any way to the story.

    Saints Row

Little bit further in. Missions are a bit boring and some repetative now. Seems like you start off so big (bank robbery etc.) to only have to complete trail blazing, insurance fraud etc. straight after like 3 big missions. When I read about not having to earn respect to continue with the story, I figured these would be the extras I'd play to keep me going once the story was complete. And they don't seem to tie into the story, well, at all. For example, Insurance Fraud is said to toughen you up. (I mean, who doesn't throw themeless into traffic to avoid those high cost gym memberships.) But these weirdly makes sense, yet I don't understand how driving an atv, on fire, causing damage to anything reasonably close is helping me catch The Syndicate. I was never expecting a polished, perfect story line, and I know it's an over the top experience, but I was hoping for some more over the top missions. Instead I'm having to run into a building and shoot The Syndicate over and over and over again. Thats after shooting some beer cans and cats in the Super Ethical Reality Climax.

    Saints Row

Finally got this. Played about an hour. Loving it so far. Still undecided if it feels like a new game, or a more polished and upgraded SR2. Story (that of it I've played so far) is no great feat, but any game that has a button just for nut shots is a-ok in my book.
  16. Lol, even a plan Ariel black font would be more believably that this. The colours are a terrible combo xD But it feels Christmasy doesn't it?
  17. You never heard of the infamous Wife Beater Reapers of LA? Dangerous crowd.
  18. No. Just no. No cops was good in SA for the times after the story. When you could just cause chaos and not have to quickly mash in the lower wanted level cheat. But if they involve a more realistic style of policing. i.e. Stab someone in a back alley with nobody about, no wanted level. Then I wouldn't be too phased about any police cheat.
  19. I think now we know where V is to be set, every mention or symbol relating to LS and SA people take as a hint or clue. When IV was released and people saw this, they would of said it's about the past game. Now we know we're to go back, it becomes a hint that was there all along. Can't see that as this was there from the get go, Rockstar knew before the release of IV that V was to be set in LS.
  20. Probably been mentioned over the past 34 pages. But some way of saving clips and/or editing them for consoles. Don't know about the possibility and ease of it all etc. But would deffinitely keep me playing for longer. Always pop GTA IV in every now and again to shoot a few bitches in the head, but with a replay editor in there I'm pretty sure I would live on it.
  21. Kid with the Dad from Rockstar is brilliant. Answer 4: Every answer and everyone who believed any of that is amazing. In any definition you like.
