  1. It'd be good if fire was a big element of the game. I always thought that fire departments in GTA's past were just for show. I'd like to be able to light a fire and have the fire department respond, have what I burned be either permanently damaged or the damage lasts for a few in-game days, and the police chase me down if they know I lit the fire. Burning NPC's would be fun too.
  2. Yeah I'd love to have NPC's commit crimes against you too. Not so many that it becomes another 'Roman bowling' episode but it would be interesting to have the tables turned on you and have other people out to get your stuff too. Even more so if there is security available in the game and people are aware of your increasing reputation and riches. Of course, I'm with you guys in that I want to chase down and beat the shit out of anyone that tries to steal from me.
  3. I hadn't thought of Massacre's idea of property values dwindling in areas you cause mayhem but it would fit with the economy idea that has been alluded to in the game. I was expecting to use property as a means of making money but I hadn't thought of how your actions could adversely affect it too. It would be cool if you could go and trash a neighbourhood you want to buy a house in and get it on the cheap. It would also be cool if your violence increased the likelihood that other NPC's committed crimes in the area so it's not just an easy get rich quick scheme. I expect your actions to influence BAWSAQ too (bank stocks go down after a heist, Ammunation stocks go up if you shoot up a neighbourhood and everyone increases their personal protection).
  4. I'd like street basketball as a minigame. Maybe even a batting cage.
  5. I think half the problem, aside from the supposedly deep draft next year, is that noone really knows how to value mid-tier free agents yet. Some teams are still throwing money about but they understand now that if you screw up a transaction it'll hurt you. If you screw up a draft pick it won't sting as badly... unless you're Portland.
  6. And yet the Sixers probably had the best idea of the final outcome.
  7. .......find a baby Bit harder to do in a GTA game otherwise completely on the cards.
  8. Completely plausible. Steal a cop car, steal a tiger, trash your hotel room.
  9. Yeah I'd like to get into a fist fight with someone with no more than a "break it up, boys" from the cops unless you carry it on for a while or someone draws a weapon.
  10. I don't want money to be too easy to come by. I have no problem paying $250k for a property as long as I'm working for it. Only towards the end should we be buying mansions on a whim unless making and spending money is more than about a few robberies and stocks, in which case I'm all for smart players making their moves and reaping the rewards.
  11. If nothing else this Tankapalooza has made things a whole lot more interesting at the top of each conference.
  12. I understand a lot of debate about GTAV but I don't understand the fascination with cheats in a massive game that has yet to be released and will be awesome without them.
  13. Niko the character was good. His story was weak though.
  14. Buying me a sniper rifle and going for a drive up there. Sorry residents of San Andreas.
  15. There will be more to it than that. The heists are just the story for the three players together. There are three individual side stories to play out too. Even if it were just heists, it's nice to have some purpose to the story. As much as I enjoyed IV I didn't get into the story of Niko. He didn't seem to have purpose. These guys seem to have something to work toward.
  16. I suggested the real estate market as a wishlist thing. I really didn't think it would be included in the game.
  17. Lot of depth to it for sure. I'm curious about the building on top of the mountain now.
  18. Yep, more than I thought. Looks like R* have listened to the fans.
  19. Close, so close. It's 7:20pm in WA at the moment. The time difference between east and west is three hours in summer and only two in winter, except Queensland and South Australia... but we don't need to go there
  20. I read 10am Eastern as NYC which is 12 hours behind Perth at the moment. Currently 7am there so three hours from now.
  21. Sadly yes, Ginginho might be around the 2-3am mark but it'll be 10pm in WA when it's midnight in NSW. Only three hours difference in summer.
  22. 10pm Perth time! Don't have to dodge work; don't have to go to bed. Score!
