  3. No I mean like aircraft are influenced by wind/ weather and stuff. Or if you're in a car high in the mountains , the wind lightly moves your car.
  4. Hello everyone! As you all know, dynamic events will return in Grand Theft Auto 5. "Dynamic Events" have been freatured in Red Dead Redemption, and in Grand Theft Auto 4. From helping strangers in need, to investigating strange occurances these events help bring the world to life. I have an idea for one of these events, it is a one-in-a-million event. So rare that you may not experience it at all...; a train crash. Imagine...... You decide to take a train from the Union Station doppelgänger to Grapeseed. The train functions similar to the stagecoach. You choose a destination and then sit back or skip. One of the times you wake up prematurely. The traincar rattles, then BOOM! The car tears off the tracks and slides out of control. The sound of stressed metal echoes trough the car. Then the screen goes black. When the screen comes back there is nothing but destruction. You stumble through the thick smoke and twisted metal. There are screams from survivors, and the bodies of those who didn't make it. The disturbing sight of mangled and mutilated bodies makes you cringe. You hear sirens in the distance, then you fall. When you wake up you're in a hospital bed. You get up and the other two protags are there. They drive you home, on the way back they talk with you.
  5. Well, after the confirmation ofdynamic weather, I feel that certain weather effects should be present. Including: Sandstorms Typhoons Flooding (confirmed) Rough seas (confirmed) Snow (in the moutains) Approaching storms (seeing a great storm cloud approaching the city, instead of rain magically appearing) Vehicles effected by weather Rouge waves (far out at sea) What do you guys think?
  6. Chop will be used as a kind of attack dog. So if you commit a crime as Franklin, and someone sees it, you can send Chop after them. I heard this from a play tester. He may be lying... I don't know what do you guys think?
  7. Some missions where you jack cars, and other things. Storytime: Michael is sitting down in his house watching some T.V. He hears a knock at his door...he stands up and begins to walkover. He murmurs to himself "What the hell is someone doing at my door at 2 AM?" he opens the door aand Franklin is standing there with hid arms crossed holding a yellow folder packed with papers. "What the hell do you need at this hour Frank?" asks Michael,"I got something planned that will benifit all of us." Michael smiles and invites him in. They sit down at the table and start talking. "So whattaya got?" asks Michael. franklin replies, "There is a cargo train full of concept cars headed to the auto show at the convention center." "So," says Michael, "what do I care about this?" Franklin continues, "There are some pretty nice, and pretty fast cars on that train." "Okay, and?" Michael asks while pouring a drink. "If we steal those cars we can use them for personal means or OTHER means." Michael smiles. Franklin slaps the folder onto the table and opens it up. a highlighten route the train will take is on a map of Los Santos, then there are a couple pictures of cars; nice ones. They discuss the plan over the night. Later on Franklin leaves and Michael calls Trevor, "Trevor, we're gonna need a plane...a big one." Its about 10 Am the next day and you switch over to Trevor who's driving towards a military airfield. He gets to the gates and you take control. A guard walks up to the car and says "You have ID?" Trevor pulls out his wallet and shows it to the man. The guard steps back and salutes him. You drive into the base. There are soldiers and airmen walking around, driving humvees and working on planes. Trevor parks in a lot not too far from a hangar. Inside that hangar lies a great plane; the Centurion heavy lifting cargo plane. You walk into the hangar and look at the huge plane. The ramp is down, giving you an excellent window to steal it. Trevor jogs up the ramp and sees to men inspecting the plane. One sees him and walks over. "Do you have authorization to be here?" asks the man. "Would I be here if i didn't?" Trevor grins and shows him his clearance. The man steps back "Captain Phillips." and salutes him. Trevor says to the man, "Hey the Colonel wanted to talk to you guys, head down to his office, and see what he wants." the men look at him for his lack of formality. "That's an order" he says. The men walk out of the plane and Trevor walks up the stairs to the cockpit. He sits down and grabs the headset. The engines scream to life and he taxis onto the runway. A few minutes later he's in the air. Michael calls him to check in that everythings alright, of course it is. Franklin and Michael are actually on the train. They snuck in while it stopped at a station. The train hits a straght away that strechtes for about 8 miles. Trevor swoops down to the tracks, and stays over them as he aproaches the train. Michael and Franklin are inside, they blow a hole in the front of a carraige and the back of the one infront, creating a clearing for the cars. The carraige in front of the car one is a carraige primarily for cargo. They cut a ramp out with equipment in the ceiling of the carraige, but leaving it to fall onto the cargo. Trevor gets right on top of the train, still keeping the plane in the air, and lowers the ramp. Franklin drives the first car into the plane, then the second and third. Finally their done, but the police were alerted when a massive plane swooped down very low. They open fire on the plane while the two load the last car in. Michael comeruns up the ramp, but he gets shot. The bullets goes clean through his leg. He collapses and falls down. He begins to roll tothe end of the ramp, and the plane climbs into the sky. The ramp stays down as michael hangs on. Franklin runs to his aid, and helps him up. The ramp closes and they got into the cockpit. "That was too damn close, never again." says Michael while he holds his leg. Franklin wraps up the wound and the screen fades out. Mission complete.
  8. During the may 2nd previews some journalist said there will be 4x as many peds.
  9. I do like trains...driving would be fun, but hope fully the camera isn't locked into cinematic view. God I hated that. The best view was when it swooped up along side the train as it sped through the desert. I still hope they put in enterable passenger cars, Superliner cars, and diner coaches. I can just imagine the fun role playing and shootouts on that!
  10. Mmmm, agreed. You just sneak into the base with your max level stealth, and start snooping around for some goodies. Then you come across a control room in a section of one of the hangars (a-la groom lake) and see various control panels, and there is a large lever begging to be pulled. You walk over and press the action key; your character then pulls the lever.… the screen begins to slightly shake, and a rumbling noise comes from the ground. Your curiosity, and just plain wonder pushes you to see what was happening: a massive hatch had opened up in the center of the massive hangar. You cautiously walk down the ramp into a long, dramatic tunnel, with red lights lining the walls flashing on and off. (An ominous track sets the mood.)The echoe of voices meets your ears…then the footsteps of many. You pull out a silenced pistol and begin to slowly walk toward the sound of the voices. (the music becomes suspenceful as you approach whatever awaits you only a few feet ahead.) Five men dressed in black swat-esque clothing walk around the bend. You duck into a corner and wait. The men patrol in a tight formation, all of them holding strange looking assault rifles. They come up to about five feet away from you and then…firefight. Only the sound of bullet casings hitting the floor can be heard. The shooting stops, and your barrel is smoking. Your health is in the red, and your out of pistol ammo. You walk over to one of the strange swat men and take their gun. You enter the facility, and there are men walking around in lab coats, and others in the strange swat outfits. You also took one of the strange swat guy's uniform, so you blend in. You come across the armory; jackpot. Couincidentally there is an empty duffel bag on the table. You grab ammo, prototype weapons, and even, the cliche, bazooka. Men immediatly discover your extremely dangerous escapade, and attempt to apprehend you. Of course things go awry and lead is pumped into alot of people. The ordeal ends with you climbing into a government Rancher, and you driving down the long tunnel. Finally there is a light at the end of it, a sign of hope. You speed out of the exit momentarily leaving earth, and slam down. You turn and twist, and navigate through the desert. You tirn onto a runway and there is Trevor in a Cuban 800 waiting on the runway. The heist is complete! It was all a combination of people on the inside and your expertise in heists and stealth. The fucking end.
  11. Didn't I say they'd re-introduce the property feature?! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Called it. and the garages/ vehicle storage! FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Buying properties may have been said to be out of the game, Rockstar's delay may incorperate adding the feature(due to popular demand). I digress: Since the player will most likely build up an immense ammount of money throughout the story, you will buy things like vehicles, clothes, upgrades(for vehicles), and many other things. But lets say you can infact purchase property. Each character has a certain range of properties to buy; maybe 8 alternate properties per character, then you could even customize/ upgrade these properties a-la the Sims. These upgrades range from a better bed, which restores more health, or a dresser that can store more clothing items. Then there are the upgrades that don't really serve a purpose besides the aesthetic of it. Michael can buy very high class apartments/ condos and even yachts/ jets. Franklin can buy apartments and normal homes, and Trevor can buy normal homes, and different mobile homes, (the best mobile home being a high end RV). Michaels top choice is a yacht, Mile High Club penthouse, and even a zepplin suite. Franklin can buy classy condos, chill suburban homes, and a loft in downtown. Once you have made your choice on your home, you can customize it. Paint it differently. Arrange the rooms to your liking, and buy things for your house. Imagine Franklin in a beautiful beach house and a boat moored to the marina. Michael looking over the city from his posh zepplin suite, and Trevor kicking back in a bunker. What do you think?
