You guys seem to be forgetting that hats don't die of old age.

What. The Fuck. Are you. Talking. About?

Some of you were discussing Jack Marston's age as if his hat would be dead because he'd be dead in 2012. His hat could be in GTAV as an easter egg, regardless.

His hate would be dead? I thought Jack was a pleasant kid.

I didn't remember the discussion turning to the life expectancy of headwear, could you show me where I lost the plot and put me back on the straight and narrow.

I hope that if there are multiple enviroments (desert, forest, snow) that it will transiton appropratly cause in san andreas it went from one side of a river was lush pine forest then the other was BAM desert

I'd love to see deserts back in GTA V, a barren feeling is a good feeling.

Taking a dirt bike round the dirt roads and mountain tops would be sweeeeet.

:jumpy:UFOS on your tail at night and sniper missions at green forests

Okay..... :ermm:

Of course they will simply HAVE to deliver on the countryside department. It was one of the biggest complaints gameplaywise about IV in my opinion. I'd also like to see some forest areas, maybe around the mountain area (ofcourse with some cabins and shit, lost hikers/chicks, the occasional fleeing fugetive, a random crashing airplane... (Yes farfetched, but still in the realm of reality)

And the desert, two words: hell yes!

Oh how I loved the airstrip in GTA SA, Ive spent a lot of time over there too. Does anyone remember the hole in the desert (pretty near a big rock formation), filled with bodybags and at the edge of the whole a raggedy, old pick up truck. (really sweet when you just crashed your nitro'd-out-race-car-with-dirt-track-tires into the whole, jumped out, car blew up, drove away smoothly in the truck, shit was str8 badass and happend accidentally!)

Maybe they could even throw in some "Casino" type mission, where you have to dig a hole in the desert and dump the body.... (Theres a lot of holes here in this desert... quote "Casino") Problem solved!!

GTA IV's Liberty City was based on New York City not the amazon rainforest.

After playing through RDR again I can really get a feel of what GTA V's landscape will be like... RDR is still fucking beautiful to behold and I hope GTA V improves on this. Anyone wondering what GTA V's countryside will be like should look no further.

A question; out of Skyrim and RDR, which of the two environments/landscapes do you prefer? My answer, RDR... since Skyrim is fantasy based the landscape is equally fantastical, but slightly unrealistic. RDR's is believable, it also isn't as cluttered and crowded with lairs, making it seem like a barren and desolate landscape - which suits the game perfectly. (I might ask this question in another topic as don't expect to get many replies that matter in here.)

Well, thats stating the obvious. I just meant, that with choosin a strictly city enviroment, many people missed some gameplay elements, which a bigger variety of landscape could offer. (What they were used to in GA SA, so even with the great leap in graphics and realism, that couldnt make up for the lack of action).

Furthermore Im not quite sure GTA in a rainforest would work, since theres a shit load of trees with a scarce amount of people AND cars for that matter. :weed:

Yes, aside from some fictional Top Gear presenters to hijack your choice of vehicle would be very limited.

I think GTA V will feature a huge desert. The reason why, the scene when it shows Liquor Ace. Take a few supercars, a prison bus then make it tumble...oh oh how about a train that runs through the mountains over gorges/ ravines. Wow if only... :)

I'm watchin' Top Gear (BBC) and Jeremy is driving down this big ass highway that's just straight! I could see some huge pile-ups on a big highway.

I also prefer RDR's environment simply because it's realistic. Realism turns me on.

I got about 25 hours into Skyrim and just lost interest.
