BlackSox9 448 Report post Posted September 20, 2013 A bit late, but when I was using Google to access this site, it kept redirecting me to an Ad-Site which contained malware, which was blocked by my firewall ( I don't use Google Chrome/ and don't have ad-block ). So from then on I just come directly to the site & forums, and bypass the ad pop ups and re-directs on the Google Shortcuts. But I'm guessing that new users of the site ( who probably used Google to find igta5/ searching for GTA V related stuff ) would of probably had a few problems, and might of even been infected if their Firewall or Anti-Virus wasn't up too scratch. *PS ~ I've also noticed that a lot of the top listed sites found on Google lately have had some form of virus on their pages ( Forums/ Porn/ News & Information pages etc ). Fucking hackers leaving this crap everywhere these days. I guess it doesn't really matter, since most viruses are easy to get rid of anyway...

There was nothing malicious on the site, I thought I might not have been getting it because my security is beefy but I booted up my old test laptop and couldn't catch anything on it. Curious as to what actually caused it. False reports?

Massacre 7646 Report post Posted December 10, 2014 If there is malware, it's one of the ads, not us. You'll still get the warning, ad block or no. Always use an ad blocker and keep your antivirus up to date, kids. Consider every ad on every site to be infectious spam. Alternatively, we were blacklisted due to false reports, because we piss a lot of people off.

Massacre 7646 Report post Posted December 10, 2014 Doesn't matter. It's an ad, not the site itself, and that means it's an easy fix. If someone lacks a basic understanding of the internet and avoids us because of that ignorance, it's their loss.
Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted December 10, 2014 I'm pretty sure having malware adds also negatively affects search engine optimization... Pretty severely actually.
