Also I don't get why everyone is scared of wasps. They don't do shit unless you provoke them.

Here's the thing, aside from letting us study ancient creatures that once roamed this great earth, I'd be afraid of certain group inflicting pain or entrapping the animal in an effort to do studies (the improper way of course). I'd have to see it be done by scientists who know what they're doing on all aspects.
