  1. Actually, Rockstar Games have already taken a pot-shot at the Occupy movement in their Grand Theft Auto franchise, they just did it about ten years before the actual event... They should have this guy back on to talk about the Occupy movement, he'd be perfect for the role
  2. The second trailer (Welcome to the Jungle) showed off the other two cities. They were known to us before the game was released, but not at the first trailer, if memory serves me.
  3. Bigfoot is the protagonist, he wants to retire from that life of scaring tourists away and rifling through their wallets. Wants a house and has 100 kids. Mrs. Bigfoot is a crack dealer who constantly tries to get her former husband whacked. Best. Game. Ever.
  4. I personally want San Fierro to be in it, but I don't care about Las Venturras at all. I'd prefer to see a San Diego like city as the third, it looks pretty cool from Google Earth. Las Venturras was a hole, with nothing but the gambling going for it.
  5. The sun has a face, the sun is a CHARACTER! Perhaps you have to do missions for him, like take out polluting factories, or perhaps he's an evil sonnabitch, and you have to make MORE smoky factories so the ozone layer depletes and he can run his melanoma cartel in the city... I wonder if you can kill him... Actually, that looks like, yeah, that 'building' is actually the game map, with the character standing beside it looking cool, beside his sun mafia boss. It's easily the map select screen. I can't wait to go rampaging on that eastern pier.
  6. With the control difficulty of QWOP. make it a gold trophy. I'd like to see a trophy for the most humiliating excuse for getting wasted/busted, like if you were taken out by a little old lady riding a faggio. It could be a new type of 'brown' trophy, one that you don't want to get.
  7. Grove Street will probably exist as an Easter Egg. I hope Sweet's car is where he left it back in 1992...
  8. The Dodo was in GTA3, and I got it flying, even though you weren't supposed to (the buildings and hills would not have been glitchy and hollow otherwise.) You were supposed to fly a Dodo into Love Media building at one point, but that was taken out because of 9/11 and so were all of Darkel's other missions, rat terrorist bastard. The only things I disliked in GTA4 was the annoying friend missions, taking them for drinks, going bowling, generally kissing their ass. I always had more important, fun things to do, like exterminating pigeons and running away from cops who happened to be PETA members! I got a six star wanted level one time and that particular rampage started with the innocent act of putting a cap in a useless diseased bird's ass. The reward for getting all those birds down dead was also disappointing. I was suckered into thinking it was an Annihilator with rockets, but no, it was just an ordinary one.
  9. It would be good to see various year models of certain cars. You could have the original Perennial return alongside the one they introduced in IV. Perhaps even a Vice City era sports cars set alongside their IV era contemporaries. I also want to see the Rhino return, because I miss being able to go rampage in a tank.
  10. Leeked GTA5 Boxart! You sore it here ferst! I love the new fonty so can't wait excited anyone else is?
  11. It wouldn't make much sense now, releasing another game in low-res SanAndreas when a shiny new hi-res SanAndreas is going to be unleashed upon the world soon. Although a new SanAndreas game, with the same III era characters, set in the aftermath of the original, would be interesting.
  12. I'm thinking Grove Street may get included as some kind of Easter egg, wether or not Rockstar's take on Compton remains Ganton. Oh man I can't wait to get a haircut from Morgan Freeman I mean Old Reece again, like old times.
  13. CJ's on a billboard in IV era Liberty? I've spent hundreds of hours in that city, a lot just admiring the funny posters and signs, and this escaped me? Liberty City really is huge. I think the guy in the red car is hispanic, but not really clear. There's the on-topic part of my post.
  14. This is good. It was weird going from a charcoal/green themed site to a bright blue/white theme message board. It now feels like it is one and the same.
  15. Doubt we'll get snow. Does California even get snow, or is the always summer sunshine thing in my head a cliche? As much fun as snow driving would be, I don't know if the 360 or PS3 could handle it, with how realistic it would have to be to fit the next gen universe.
  16. Although I would really like to see SanFierro in glorious HD (not too fussed on Las Venturras) I'd settle for a much expanded take on L.A. With more of the areas they didn't include with SanAndreas. More Orange County, with Anaheim and a Rockstar take on theme parks such a Disneyland would be awesome. I'd love to run wild in a place like that, perhaps even do mission for some corrupt theme park owner, even buy one to run missions for Vice City style. That would be a satisfying alternative to Gant Bridge rampages for me.
  17. In GTA IV, Rockstar gave us pigeons to shoot for our hidden package quest. In the EFLC, it was pigeons. What do you think they will do in V? Will they keep the bird theme going, or something entirely different? I think they will keep the bird theme, though I'm 99% certain it wont be pigeons, they're a pest that Liberty City shares with it's real life counterpart. I was predicting seagulls, until I found out that seagulls were used in the DLC episodes. Seagulls do fit the coastal city theme though, so I wouldn't rule them out entirely. Does California have a bird it identifies with? That could be a possibility. What do you think?
  18. That's a good idea if the property buying is back, to make it more realistic. R* seems to be shying away from those floating icons in this generation, the only ones in IV were those small golden mission markers.
  19. I don't think they are hints, just commercials that reference the in-game world where it is set.
  20. I fail to see why an employee of a Playstation magazine would leak all this information, they'd keep it for the eventual 'GTA V Revealed!' edition of their magazine knowing they can shift a lot more copies by keeping such details exclusive..
  21. I never got this. Somehow in a game where you kill people and steal cars, it's suddenly oh-so-horrible to kill a dog. Really? Dogs are obviously more valuable than the people I can brutally slaughter by the thousands. I'm not saying you're one of those people, just saying I find them strange.
  22. SanFierro is still my favourite city, so I'd like it to make another appearance. It was the original SanAndreas in GTA1 as well. LasVenturras, I don't care much for. Once the missions were over with it was a pretty boring place. If it's a high detail Los Santos and countryside, I'd be happy with that.
