  1. I agree with everything you said Mass, but, Mr. Leone did want to make Claude a made man in gta 3, and to be a "made man" you can only be of Italian decent. Now idk if Rockstar knew about that at the time, i'm sure they did... but it may imply that Claude could very well be an Italian. But he said this before sending Claude into a deathtrap, with the intention of getting him killed. Claude was robbing banks with a Colombian before the game started, there's nothing to indicate he knew how the mafia worked. Still doesn't imply Italian heritage to me. I'm not saying it isn't possible, I'm just saying there's really no evidence regarding Claude's race. Claude has the same squinty eyes as Kenji and Asuka, doesn't mean he's Japanese. lol this settles it, Claude is every ethnicity all at once. He's the biggest multi-racial badass of 'em all.
  2. poor gtagrl... I agree with everything you said Mass, but, Mr. Leone did want to make Claude a made man in gta 3, and to be a "made man" you can only be of Italian decent. 3. Dude, did you even play the game? He's not fucking russian. He's from Bulgaria, I was kidding. Not even remotely. No he's not from Bulgaria either you moron! idk man... Mobsters are far different then guidos, calling an a italian "guido" is kinda the same as calling a black "honky" back when my dad and his brother grew up in Niagara Falls, they would call the other italian kids from the other neighborhood "guidos" because they didn't belong, more like saying they weren't real italians.
  4. You know what... fuck being on topic .... 1984 is before 1992... yes the game came out after, but he was still "before" as in the story lines. As of Tommy and Claude reminding you of the jersey shore cast, then you are obviously unaware how most Italians, and most Italian families are... that remark was idiotic. I think you need to do some research the italian communities before you go off calling all of them guidos... and what the fuck is a guido walk?! Kuz you better be glad Joe Pesci isn't here to kick your ass. and then you said Niko was Russian? He even said he wasn't a fuckin' Russian!
  5. I really don't know why tbh. I just liked him better than the rest. I guess I was just sick of seeing the typical white protagonists. I liked that he was different than the rest. Also, I grew up listening to Hip Hop and listening to what them rappers went through. So I thought it was cool to play a character in that world. 8-ball, Lance Vance, Vic Vance... all black and somewhat before CJ (Vic Vance circa 1984: CJ circa 1992) Even though only one was a playable character, they all shared one thing in common thing, they were in multiple story lines and played major parts in the story, except 8-ball. Two of them appeared in two different games, Lance and Vic both in VC and VCS. So that dethrones your "typical white protagonist" remark... Carl Johnson to me, was the biggest piece of shit protag. Rockstar has ever come up with. And I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, i just don't like when people say Franklin is like CJ because i want to believe that Franklin isn't a bitch. 5 White Protags. (Claude, Tommy, Toni, Niko, Johnny) 2 Black Protags, (CJ, Vic) -Vic is said to be of Dominican decent, but they can be black. 1 Hispanic Protag. (Luis) 1 Asain Protag. (Huang) Their has been more Black protags, then their has been "other"...
  6. Yeah it's looking great. Wish i was back in nyc to see it. Wait, theirs a fence around there that has a bunch of 9/11 stuff on it, is that were they are doing the construction? Or is the fence a little ways away?
  7. What Mass said. Seriously though VCS had a better story then SA and not many people liked vcs... to this day i still have no clue what the SA storyline was aiming for. Although it was, and still is a great game, people overrate it because of the extra activities you could do and yeah.. it had fun missions, but did they really fit the story?
  8. You can see the bridge from the top picture in the bottom one also.. far left and down right above the train. (may not be same bridge) Nvm. it has already been said.
  9. Why does that concern you? Because it implies to me that there won't be much of a story focus outside of Los Santos proper, or that the area outside of town isn't all that interesting. The San Andreas box art didn't have any countryside in it, but had plenty of missions in the badlands/desert.
  10. They look almost identical, or is it just me? Helicopter top left, main protag in top center, motor bike top right, girl under helicopter, man holding sniper rifle under bike, car being chased by cops in the bottom panel, and black guy holding a pistol on the bottom panel. The cover looks good, but would it really kill them to think outside the box? i love the covers being the same... it's iconic. but more so legendary.
  11. The whole bottom right looks a little different then normal. The car artwork is not that of what a usual car would look like on a box art... well at least too me.
  12. I've been waiting for these. I will now have the whole gta 3 era on my ps3 to play while i wait for V. Thank you Rockstar
  13. I was on last night, got some pics of me driving a invisible bus that a modder had left when he died.
  14. i had just got into my math class when i saw these pics posted on fb by Rockstar... i spent the whole 55 minutes staring at them on my phone haha. I have to say though, these look a lot better then the last ones. I'm really impressed and quite shocked at how awesome they are to tell the truth.
  15. Godfather

    Saints Row

Holy fuck... SR4 looks horribly repetitive and stupid. I just watched the trailer again.. was it produced by a bunch of 12 year olds? "Hold Up, i think we forgot a letter"? what the fuck is that?! Shits Row IV
  16. Yeah that would be awesome. But maybe in 2047, not now. In the Godfather all the NPC's had their own name... they just walked around in circles pretty much but some did walk into the stores around the city. But i do like the idea. That's so much fun, having a huge street fight going while you watch. Sometimes the cops pull up and drag a few away, or get themselves punched lol Having the cops show up is great, i've had it where one of the bikers pulled out a gun on the police, and the battle escalated. Too bad that we have to start the fight between NPC's. But that leads me to saying, it really gets on my nerves that the only time the peds fight is when they crash into each other, I just really want the NPC's to be more violent at times... Sort of like in SA, you weren't the only one shooting a gun. Hell 5 years playing IV i have never seen a npc kill another npc without me starting it. Really annoying. Just found this... 17. The 'Ndrangheta Mafia works with these Los Zeta's you speak of... i see, possibly a GTA game which could involve several cities around the word that have infamous underworlds (Southern Italy, Mexico City, Moscow, Sao Paulo etc..) Greed which turns into not only turf wars, but "gang" wars to take over cities in spite of more revenue. The drug trade and city take-over will be the main focus and will follow 5 different story lines based on the character you choose at first. So, 5 different characters, all from different parts of the world and a member of that city's respective "Gang". Each city or map will have it's share of 2-3 gangs fighting for control, you will be already be in one as listed before. So not only will you have to fight the gangs in your own city, but the gangs that are coming to take over your's from a far. you will have the option to choose of the criminal organizations you want to make alliances with, as each "gang" will have their on specialties and will help out with your profits in different ways... some will even back stab you, while others keep their word. It's a hard plot to follow... but when i thought about it, it really interested me. If not a gta game, then something i would like too see picked up But with this idea, we will have plenty of cities to experience with each one having it's own feeling and look. Unlike Liberty City which all sort of felt the same.
  18. I just really don't want to be a Mexican... all i see is they kill people. It's the same thing that happens in Chicago just reverse, instead of this honky shot that honky, it's this beaner cut up that beaner. Can you give me some revenue facts? i don't give two shit how many people they can kill, I need to see if these guys actually make any money instead of saying were 50% of their income is from... how many millions/billions a year?
  19. ...............with nothing to do in them. I vote for a country that doesn't have sheep rapists, in favour of somewhere that is a little more dangerous. Like say Mexico City, a massive Metropolis full of Street Gangs and Drug Cartels. There are Desert areas, Mountainous regions, Beaches and Aztecan jungles all within driving distance of the City. Plus the gangs and cartels there are so numerous and well equiped that even the Mexican Army can't control the situation. So there would be plenty of interesting stories/ideas that could unfold in and around this crazy city. Poor Shanty Towns ~ More Affluent Areas ~ Nearby Aztec Ruins could add some flavour ~ And this place is HUGE ~ If not Mexico City, then maybe Rio Di Janeiro ( exploring the City, Favelas, Jungle and the Islands there as well ) ~ Imagine mowing down all of these people in a Combine Harvester. I've had enough fun in the Favela's of Brazil from MP3, but it is a good idea. Again i think Napoli, Italia would be a good place. If you have about 30 mins, watch this... [/media]Sure, it doesn't have a super high crime rate like Mexico City, Or Rio, but for a place like Naples which actually has police it can get messy. The Nigerian gangs would make for a good fued with the Camorra clans. Plus it would give everybody a different type of Mafia experiance rather then the "Family" type we are use to. The trash crisis, the drugs (naples is one of the biggest drug epicenters of the world), the killings, and the back drop... Naples is the on boot of Italy... water, ports, beaches, mountains, ghettos, vineyards, and the beautiful city... everything a gta game needs.
  20. Didn't Rockstar say they revamped the combat system in the Game Informer Cover reveal? I could have sworn R* said they've made it better.
  21. He will call you to go boating. Once you finish that, he will leave his Huntley there. Just take it.
