  1. HAHAHA graphic sacrifice just because in game player can customize his looks? Are you crazy? I dont want to waste time to discuss this and explain how wrong you are on this. Just go to game that I mentioned and see if they made any sacrifice in graphic! It looks way better than GTA4 so what the hell you are talking about. U got no knowledge about games at all. Otherwise you would not write such c....p! Customizations would eat up only disc space but no graphic! Kid just go watch APB character customization and gameplay before you talk such nonsense and make confusion to others that think like you. And watch some movies about newest game/graphic engines. If all would think like you then games now would look like those from 2002 ! You also think only for yourself ! If you dont like character customization then just dont use it! Ppl like you would chose character made by R* and there would be no problem! But you with your silly statements would block option for character customization just because you got no knowledge about games you just play them as most casual players. U dont like something then dont use it but stop stating that you dont want this in game. It is not your game so ..... Other players can give their suggestions as much they want and people that say that they dont want them are just worthless. If you got in game all you want then be happy and dont block other ppl ideas just because you dont need them. U are so selfish .....! I hate people like you... Dont be like that. Let other people have their dreams. Im sorry that I was to harsh on your statement but it is little silly. I understand that you dont want to make your own character, OK but I love to create my own character. It would be best that in games they are already created characters and option for making character. All people would be happy not only you. Look at mass effect they did only one character and his story but player can customize him anyway and that is great. Graphic didnt hurt at all from this. So what is the point in not making character customization. Anyway I hope you will change your mind on this. Cheers.
  2. I hope that there will be not 1 but at least 3 characters to chose from. I also dream of making my own character with great details. Maybe like in this game All Points Bulletin which have most advanced character editor that I have seen in games. I think that there will be playable 3 characters from trailer. Latino guy, black guy and this older guy. Also I think that they will have different storylines that will cross each other like in gta 4 EFLC.
  3. Think again. But better for you will be to read something about scripts. They dont take long to write. If they were then mods for game like The Elder Scrolls oblivion/skyrim Fallout 3/NW would take years to make for single moder. But they are not so mods are made quite fast and they are mostly based on scripts and they can make lots of complicated new stuff in game. Go see for yourself how much mods there are for oblivion, Fallout 3 and NV and most of them are made only by single person! Your theory fail. GTA IV mods are made as scripts too and many of them are complicated and making very huge difference in gameplay. (GO and use arrestwarrant script made by 1 guy and see how much it changes!). Making 3D model and texturing it is longer than writing simple script that will change something in game. U even cant image how much things can be changed in game like GTA 4 just by writing short scripts. If devs will be lazy as players that think they already got what they want then games would not evolve at all! Think again and put as many demands as you can. If all players would do so then games will evolve much faster. Instead only about 1-5% of players making suggestions to game developers. Remember this, demands make things in this world to be better. If not then for example you would have the same mobile phone till it broke then you would buy exactly same model but just new one. Another part of technology evolution is competition.
  4. With a name like GRAND THEFT AUTO, I think more emphasis needs to be focused on various way to steal cars and more auto theft missions in general. I would like to see a character that you meet fairly early in the game who sends you off on car jacking missions. This could also include a small tutorial teaching you how to sneak and use various tools to break into a car. Yeah... In short, car stealing & Car jacking must not be as easy as IV. It should be Real badass... There should be a thrill while you steal cars... IV lack in this area. There was atmost 1 star wanted level. This should be vastly improved.... I hope they will make some system for stealing cars because gta4 was so boring and infantile in this part and as mentioned "With a name like GRAND THEFT AUTO, I think more emphasis needs to be focused on various way to steal cars and more auto theft missions in general" I very much agree on this so there must be improvement in that aspect and R* must do something BIG to change this. Otherwise game tittle is pointless! If I remember good then in Mafia 1 there was learning how to steal cars and with time character gained more skills and then he could steal much better cars. But that was very old cars so in GTA and modern cars there should be something like that and also mini games that will use players ability to speed up stealing process or if player make mistake then stealing process will be longer (or he will fail and in luxury cars he may enable some blockade) and put player in more risk that he will be recognized as a thief and someone can call cops giving them license plate numbers so even if player will steal this car then police will search it and police patrols will be noticed about that. I used script (script name "ArrestWarrant" big thanx for maker of this script! I always wanted that kind of system in GTA series) that put chance that stolen car will be reported as stolen and police had eye on this car. It also made system like in mafia 2 that if player run over someone and did other bad stuff using car then car gained wanted level. Higher level made police patrols react if they saw this car. It was also working for player character if he made bad things then he gained wanted level and police patrols reacted if they recognized player that have wanted level. To get rid of player wanted level player must call contact that have good connections in police and then meet with him in some place then player payd money to that man and he removed wanted level from player. That way i could use lots of money made in missions that were useless in game anyway. To earn money I used scripts that allowed robbery and hijacking armored trucks. I hope that R* will learn from script makers and from mafia 2 game and they will implement this ideas to new GTA games. GTA IV was lacking in many parts so I am sure that they will make improvements. We all know that the best was GTA SA so they must take as much things from SA and double that in GTA 5. To my ideas I would add also this: -real police on/off. When enabled, police will react if player (and even npc) will run on red lights and will speed to much and react to other traffic offense. If protagonist will be normal citizen then if he stops and wait for policeman then he will pay ticket (if he will be another immigrant like Nico then he may try to bribe police officer). When disabled it will be like in GTA 4 and player can break any traffic law and can do road rage like in all GTA series. I liked Mafia 1 traffic system. -Real traffic on/off. When disabled then it will be like in GTA 4 if player hit other cars then npcs will only get out of their cars, say something and get back to car and just drive away or they try to pull out player and fight with him or if player hit and run then nothing happens. But when enabled then if there will be accident where player will do damage then nps will get out of his car and say something about that situation and will wait then player will have option to get out of his car and pay for damage he did (I doubt that protagonist made by R* will have insurance so only real money will be involved here) If player will hit and run then car that he was in is reported to police and car gain wanted level. Also there will be big chance that npsc will lock their doors so it will not be so easy to steal car with someone in. In GTA series there always are lots of earned money that player cant spend so this things and also if they will make car customization (Im 100% sure that they will do it) and things like upgrading safehouses, buying cloths and other stuff (like medicine, drugs/narcotics to boost health regen or boost strength ect.) then finally we will have opportunity to spend this money that we will earn from missions and this money will no more be something like high score indicator. GTA with that big open world cant be just simple game for making only mayhem on streets without consequences so I think that gameplay tweaks are required to make all sorts of players happy not only those who like to make big mess. If R* will go in direction that will make GTA just simple tool for making destruction with cool story then Im out of it But from what I read about GTA 5 they want to make comeback to san andreas gameplay and add even more cool and immersion stuff so I think that I'll stick around little more ;D
  5. I strongly agree on that. While playing gta 4 and experiencing car physics for the first time it was nice, it felt that they got mass and tire grip give realistic feel not like in plastic games like NFS ect. But then when I saw that cars got weird center mass and they tend to get back on wheels while laying on side or even roof and that as player I can move car while it lay on roof and sometimes rock it so car get back on wheels it felt very weird and I strongly disliked it so after programs allowing to edit handling show up in net I tried to eliminate it and I accomplished it in 90% but some cars was hard to edit because they was easy to flip on side while entering curves ect. So it was harder to make them stay on ground while tight corners but also eliminate their ability to easily get back on wheels while they lying on side. And as you mentioned falling on wheels from heights made cars and bikes unrealistically indestructable. I bet they did it for those hidden jump platforms. But it ruined that realism feel. People should watch more stuff about car crashes. But I doubt that all of them will understand this because they are simple minded and when they use games to entertain themselves they dond care at all about real life physics and other stuff. They want dumbed down fun... It is sad for me because I am in minority players that like realism feel in game entertainment. And developers care only for those majority because they are the most milk giving cows so they do everything for them and others can see that developers are just money wanting scums which dont care about those minorities at all.
  6. LOL so what is according to you ?! Simple animation repeating at every hit? LOL Ragdoll is the best solution in games. U also like to be better than npcs u dont care about balance in games. I dont like people like this. They just dont care they just want things, simple things and thats it for them. Pathetic. Ragdoll for enpcs and for player that would make great balance and challenge not to play a terminator like style. I wish that u would be test target and someone would shoot you while you wearing bullet proof armor. Then U would change your mind very fast. But this is not possible for someone sitting in front of monitor and only playing simple games.

  8. I would like to see better bullet physics. Bullet speed no insta hit. Bullet piercing some stuff not only glass. Wooden boards should be penetrable ect. Also not only npc being affected by bullets. Player should be ragdolled too when hit by bullet! I used script for that and that was much better experience and challenge.
  9. I want realism option. Not only casuals play games ! To bad that casual players are not smart enough to understand that there are some things that must be in specific games. Otherwise by removing it from game it dumbs it down and target players are those casual players that just like to have simple dumbed down fun. But on other side there are players like me who love immersion and we are sad that developers just dont give a damn about us. They dont even made option to change gameplay experience for those more demanding. Look how fallout NV was made. They did great job to satisfy those casual ones and those more advanced players. I would love to see gameplay tweaks for demanding players. -For example fuel usage on/off -player ragdoll while taking fire on/off -realistic clips and gun reloading on/off (in gta 4 if I swapped gun to other one and then back to my first gun then magazine was automatically reloaded and in many cases it was faster to swap gun to other one then back to first than reload actual one.) -realistic cops on/off (if player successful run/sneak out from search perimeter but was identified by police then he got wanted level and must watch out for not being recognized. If he will be recognized then police are alerted again with earlier force. Also police have no 6th sense and cant find player if they lost him. They randomly search perimeter and perimeter is always occupied by police for long period. So player if hidden then must try to sneak out of that perimeter. This was impossible in GTA 4.) -money earning hard/normal (HARD-harder way to get money. Missions are not so well played too so player must try to earn them good way or try to make them by robbery, stealing, gambling ect. NORMAL - gta style, lots of cash and no challenge at all) -carry weight normal/real (NORMAL-gta style lots of invisible pockets. REALISTIC- player can carry only short guns like pistols or if he got jacket ect. then he may hold little longer gun under it. If player wants to carry for example M4 or AK 47 he must carry it in bag/backpack ect. that is big enough. Also it will slow running/sprinting. If player wants to run faster for example to evade police then he must drop bag otherwise cop will chase down player and knock him on ground then try to cuff him. If player resist then minigame will be enabled and player may have chance to beat this cop and run away. But if 2 or more cops was chasing him then there is no chance to run away and all guns are lost and money too except that money which player deposited somewhere. There would be chance that cop will taze player then there is very little chance that player can escape. If tazed player can move while being tazed so one of cables may let lose ect. It would be fun to watch ragdoll/euphoria while trying to roll ect. while being tazed Other ideas: -Fixed car physics. No more cars which landed on roof cannot be moved while moving steering wheel and pressing buttons that make motorbike to make whellie or stoppie. (I really hate this dumb silly car physics. Some cars did get back on wheels very easy. That was stupid. I made my own tweaks in handling file to eliminate it. But cars still moved when stering wheel was used left/right.) -In mafia 1 and 2 I liked when I get out of car while holding steering wheel left or right or analogue stick and car wheels left as it was. In gta they are always centered... -If player is escaping from police in gta 4 trains was disabled... Sometimes it can be done to enter train while chase by police. I would suggest to developers not to disable trains while cop chase. Instead make that if cops spot player that he entered train then police on other station will be alerted and reinforcements will be called to that station. Player will have option to jump out from train. But if he will have low health then he may end up in hospital escorted there by police which will confiscate player guns. If he decide to go to other station he may surrender there or try to fight police which will be very hard but player my die as hero in his own eyes lol. -Smarter AI if cars are exploding nearthem then they will not ram those cars and get burn and their car explode. -If mission ended in some specific way like building exploded then for long time ther will be firetruck, police investigating and TV reporters. In gta 4 in that missions like with truck and explosives in car workshop I heard in radio that there are reporting from that place but I was there and saw nobody. Even firetruck left this building burn. That moments ruins felling of immersion. -Inviting more friends to drinking,bowling, pool ect. There would be fun if some of them would not like each other. In that case they would argue and even try to fight for example if they are drunk. That would be laugh to watch them drunk and fight while euphoria engine in action -Bare fist fight. I HATE to be knocked out so hard to wake up in hospital. Where is KO ?! I like to fight but it is annoying that if knocked out that way player is like killed. I want to get up after a while and try to get revenge. If I win I want to see opponents stand up after a while and if I wait little longer they may to want fight again! In very bad places there would be risk that player would be facing 2-5 opponents and try to rob player he may give them what they want or try to run or fight. If player will get in fight and be knocked out then they will take everything from him and in some cases they would kick him and beat him till he is out cold and then he will wake up in hospital. -When player is out of hospital after serious injuries then for sope period of time he will have no 100% health. For example after shotout and getting serious bullet wound he will have 50% of health or even lower. Then player will got option to for example buy something that will make him heal faster or maybe even very fast regen of health. Maybe some kind of drugs If he first know where to buy that kind of stuff. But legal ones in farmacies would be pain killers that will speed up a little health regeneration (maxpayne.... lol ) Food will regenerate health very slowly not like in gta 4 instant heal. (main purpose of food will make player not hungry) -Picking up heavier objects like gas can and throw it from heights on someones head -Another tweaks for police. No more crazy police respawns! If I shot down 2 helicopters then why another are on me so fast. Police cars respawning to fast. They are in this game only to make mayhem and kill player at any cost. Player must have option to surrender. I used script that allowed this so it may be done and many other things. Shooting or killing someone will not trigger police that already knows that it was player who did it. If police or anybody else who would report something there is no way to police know who did shoot a gun ect. If there may be someone who hears gunshot he may call police and police will come and investigate this place for some time. If they spot people around they will ask questions and search them. If player will be near then police will try search him too and if they will found gun then they will attempt arrest. Player will have option to drop/hide guns but if they found it near crime scene then they will take suspects to police station and take his finger prints. If player will left fingerprints on that gun then police will put arrest warrant on him. (examining fingerprints takes time so it may be after few hours) This one is maybe to much to do in game... anyway it would be nice to see this. -Player skills in guns and other things like taking cover and firing from cover. If he is poor at that then he will hide very poorly and may be shot. If he is skilled he will not show his body parts from behind cover. -No more engine fix when player making a call to someone. If it is broken then let it be broken and give option to call for help. If player can call police, medics, firefighters and they come to players location so why not make car service that will haul players car and fix it in their workshop. -No more sticky mission markers that can stop players car even if it drives 200kmh instead they should make box marker that show where player must park his car. -Fix melee auto aim. Sometimes I want aim enemy on ground instead it choses some pedestrian. -No more any car stealing. It was dumb that nico can steal sport cars and other luxury cars just in few seconds. It would be cool to learn how to steal those cars but not just from game start. For some cars there is needed some electronic device to bypass security ect. -Changing view in TPP between left and right shoulder. It was good in max pain 3 -No more cheats like running away from police to safehouse, use save mode and police disappear even if they entered bedroom. This is silly. -Last 2-3 or more cars that was used by player let them stay long even if they are left far far away. I remember that in one of GTA it was possible but I dont remember which one. I liked it. Now cars disappear to fast. -Blind fire and recoil. I want to see proper gun recoil and blind fire bullet spread. In gta 4 this one was ridiculous on PC. Guns have laser precision and in blind fire too. I am in shock that so many casuals didnt notice it at all. Many people didnt care that this is so badly done. I dont understand that o_O dumb people everywhere..... lol English is not my native language so I know that I made mistakes and used bad grammar. So if there is someone who like to point out mistakes made by others I suggest you go and whine about your own mistakes instead. That was some of my ideas that I wanted to share with people that like immersion too. Cheers!
  10. I used few scripts for GTA 4 and one of them was ragdoll for player character. I like it a lot because It made game more realistic. So I would like to see it implemented in GTA 5.
  11. In gta series and all other games I was very annoyed by fist fight or when using blunt weapons everyone just died including player. In street fight instead of being wasted R* should add KO when player run out of health while getting beating by non lethal weapons and fists. So player instead of being sent to hospital because of someone put last hit on player and drain his health by innocent last punch, he should just drop to ground and slowly regain some health. But if player would be beaten by some very angry enemy like gangsters or some crazy person then there would chance that they would beat player to death and that would end up as wasted and player would wake up at hospital Please R* add this feature to game.

  13. They must disable all seeing police ! My first impression on gta IV police while my first try to run from them was bad. I hided myself in places where police could not get me and didn't see me but I saw them roaming near my location and trying to find way to get to me. That was hilarious. Like they got 6th sense. I managed to mod game to make them blind lol They couldn't see me. I was walking near them and they didnt react. So they may make police in gta 5 not so godlike then sneaking away from police would be great challenge instead of trying to drive away fast from their magic circle...

  15. No never! I hope they will not listen to kiddos and dumb down this game too. I am against dumbing down games. All you who want regeneration go cut yourself and see if wound will disappear after you wait 5 seconds or crunch in cover. All you saying "it is only a game so it must be fun" just go do something else than playing games for fun. Go make videos for YT with you failing at something cuz you can do only this properly. R* dont listen to those weird kids.
