  1. For me it would totally ruin it if there are too many safe houses, the last time we were in San Andreas there were a total of 37 safe houses for CJ to acquire/buy. Very unrealistic for a guy like CJ. (you had to buy all of them to if you wanted 100%). Much better in GTA IV where there was only 4 safe houses for Niko (5 depending how you play the story). I would prefer to just own one at a time, and maybe be able to sell previous safe houses when I buy/acquire a new one.
  2. If GTA 4 is anything to go by then we might have quite a wait, First Trailer 29th March 2007 Second trailer 28th June 2007(3 months after first trailer) Third Trailer 28th November 2008 (8 months after first trailer) Fourth Trailer 29th March 2008 (12 months after first trailer) Released 29th April 2008 (1 year and 1 Month after first trailer) So maybe the date in the GTA 5 trailer was right, most people were saying 24th May 2012, it might actually be 24th May 2013.
  3. That's the problem with a 50 year old protagonist, He's not likely to have good stuff like skateboards or rollerblades, just hope where ever he's robbing better have wheelchair access.
  4. I like doing everyday kind of stuff in GTA, most of my GTA IV life was taking people out on outings, and dating. gives it more realism.
  5. Maybe one of the missions can be to help him install his stair lift, or go to the mod shop and Pimp his Zimmer Frame for him.
  6. But nothing to say that he's definitely the protagonist (or one of them), although it's looking probable.
  7. For me, Character customisation all depends on the protagonist. I like to keep it generally believable, in terms of what the protagonist's character is, if he's a well-to-do business man, or a street hood, will keep that theme, changing his clothes but keeping the general look. I always think "what would my character want to to wear?" I can't imagine that C.J would realistically walk down Grove St with a pink afro and joke glasses, and expect to get to the end of the street without being shot dead by his own homies. San Andreas took the customising to a level where it didn't even look like C.J any more, where as in GTA 4, it didn't matter what you dressed Niko in, he still looked like Niko. I'm hoping GTA V will find a balance between the two, giving more options than GTA 4, but still keeping it relative to the character.
  8. Yeah it's not actually Liverpool, but since everyone who asks me where I'm from, seems to have no idea where Birkenhead is, I usually just say Liverpool so that they get the general area. And no, I'm not a Scouser.
  9. Just outside Liverpool, in Birkenhead.
  10. Now that I've changed my underwear from the initial excitement of the GTA V Trailer, and have read all 13 pages of this introduction section, I thought Id introduce my self. Hi, my name is Drew, I'm 26, I live in Liverpool, but originally from Yorkshire, been on this forum about a week.
  11. I would rather have my rewards before 100% completion, once I get to 100% I usually stop playing or start from the beginning again.
  12. Nope, he was wearing a white wife beater, and we all know that CJ is the only person who could possibly own one of them. Do you mean the defecation in their flower pots, or are you shitting terracotta right now? Maybe I meant "of" maybe I meant "in" I don't know any more, ...want me to send you some flowers?
  13. I say if you can physically fit them in the garage, they should damn well stay there, i.e.the aircraft hanger in San Andreas. I nearly disgraced my self with joy when I saw the size of it, only to have my dreams dumped on from a great hight when trying to park my 5th vehicle in there when the doors refused to open.
  14. The safe house depends on the protagonist, depending on what type of character he (or she in a GTA first) is depends on what type of safe house I would like, if he's a down and out bum, then I'll take one of those tents under the bridge, if he's the old guy looking over the city, then I'll take the house where people are seen exercising. I don't think the two Algonquin safe houses suited Niko, they were to posh for him, he stated all the way through the game that he didn't like the "high life" and he was always saying he just wants to "get by", I'd say those houses where a little more than "getting by" so In my game I always killed dwayne (so I didn't have to have Playboy's house), and I treated the other house as Roman's house (as he bought it). the house you get off Mallorie and the one you get off Ray are more suited to Niko in my opinion. so it all depends on who the protagonist is.
  15. I'm still not convinced that when they said it was going to be the biggest, most ambitious game to date they meant map size. they might have meant big in terms of content.
  16. CJ. You are now responsible for my neighbours broken windows, and the defecation of their flower pots.
  17. Grr...I swear to almighty R*, If I hear C.J one more time... I can't be held responsible for my actions.
  18. I've read a few different versions on the topic of Map Size, (Don't believe a word till R* confirm it) but I'm not to bothered about the size of it, and as most guys will say "size isn't everything", quality over quantity.
  19. True, but obviously Rockstar aren't gonna keep Los Santos and the other cities that size... Just look at the transformation of LC from III > IV. HUGE amount of change. That's what I'm expecting in V as well, I am posetive they won't keep those tiny-ass cities with all this new technology. That was my point exactly, the new Los Santos (I'm hoping) will be nothing like the old one from San Andreas. and if the transformation of Liberty City is anything to go by then I don't see why the GTA 5 map can't bigger than the whole state of San Andreas map.
  20. If you look at the size of the actual Cities in San Andreas, and ignore the countryside, they are tiny, even Los Santos was tiny in terms of how many roads there are and the area it covers, if you compare it to Liberty City in GTA 4. The reason San Andreas looked so big is cause it was just filled with countryside and deserts, the Cities were tiny. If you look at the small towns, most of them only have 4 or 5 roads in total. A lot of people are saying that making GTA 5 bigger than San Andreas, and only including one City and surrounding countryside is unrealistic and that there must be more cities in the game... but if they are making the cities the size of Liberty City in GTA 4, then I can see it being a lot bigger.
  21. If you look back at the GTA 4 trailer, the cars in the game looked completely different by the time the game was finally released, so these cars might not necessarily look like this in the end.
  22. Well... you certainly came in with a bang... Few things in there that I missed though, didn't notice that the people in the back seat of the Jeep (Mesa?) are sitting sideways, But I don't see what you mean with the Car having different rims in the other scene, they looks the same to me, white in both.
