  1. depends on how you define relevant. if you look at it from a gameplay perspective, you could also settle down and call most parts liberty city wasted space. you could condense the locations of the gameplay to an island about the size of brooker, with a little space in between to give the illusion of actually moving between them. to deliver a certain feeling to the player, both gta 4 and san andreas did their job very well. liberty really gives you the feeling of an nyc-ish metropolis with vast urban areas, while san andreas delivered the feeling of travelling through a state, especially thanks to the "wasted space" - I'd rather call it landscape, as this adds so much to the illusion of a whole state. of course, again, condense it to the gameplay-relevant areas and you can cope with a fraction of the area used. I was referring to the open blank grey space in between and behind most buildings.
  2. I'm not too bothered about the actual size of the map, as long as their is no wasted space. San Andreas may have been a bigger map, but there were a lot of areas that seemed to be there for the sake of it. GTA IV had a more compact feel to it because they used every inch of the map for something relevant.
  3. in ur 2nd photo it looks like in the far back is a blue blista compact Looks more like a Futo to me.
  4. they appear to me the same The only similarity I can see is that they are both blue.
  5. That is not the same Blue Convertible, they are different makes and models, they just both happen to be blue. The picture of the Blue Convertible with it's top up, is the same make and model as the red convertible. (If you watch the trailer slowly you can see the front).
  6. I never had the problem of too much money and nothing to do with it, The most money I ever had with Niko was what he got from the bank job. I spent it all on weapons mainly. Would be nice to spend it on something different though, the obvious choice seems to be buyable vehicles.
  7. Unfortunately that's unlikely, but it definitely would be different. I like how series this reply is.... lol Yh lol. oops, oh well....I'd actually love to be a bum on a dirty corner in GTA, that's pretty much how I played Niko
  8. I'm sure I read somewhere that buses in GTA IV were part of the usable public transport system, but was dropped before the game was released. And that originally the Limo's could be used like taxis as part of Higgins Limo's. And I remember failing one of Roman's early missions and he and Niko were dropped off by a bus, at the bus stop outside the Taxi rank after failing. (I think I tipped his taxi over while chasing the Russians). I like the idea of being able to catch a bus, but more so I like the idea of high jacking a bus full of passengers.
  9. Looks a bit like AREA 69, from San Andreas.
  10. I liked the street parking at first, it was different, but became annoying, How about being able to park your car on the driveway, out of the way of traffic. but not actually in a garage, just on the driveway its self?
  11. I like that Idea, it was unrealistic parking a smashed up car outside your house, only to find it in mint condition again later. But on the other had it was a good way to get it fixed quickly, without driving all the way to the pay and spray, only to damage it on the way home again.
  12. Unfortunately that's unlikely, but it definitely would be different.
  13. My perfect Safe house... (Although the "safeness" of it is questionable)
  14. I seriously wish that MASSIVE map was the actual map for GTAV... I don't think I'd need to play another game ever again...
  15. So..this is what it's come too, we've been waiting that long that we have all gone absolutely senile and started judging Trees? Anyway the the screen shoots look great (Got the second one as my desktop wallpaper) and I'd say I can't wait, but to be honest, I can wait, If it means them getting it perfect I have all the time in the world.
  16. You would've been better off picking a Tuesday or Friday. Instead of a Monday. Entertainment products release on a Tuesday in N. America and Fridays in Europe. Wish I had known that before I made my prediction, maybe I should have looked it up first.
  17. “Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather, or the… ah, I don’t know that thing. That magic. You see it in the movies – I wanted to retire from what I was doing. You know – from that. That line of work. Be a good guy for once. A family man. so I bought a big house, came here, put my feet up. I thought I’d be a dad like all the other dads, and my kids would be like the kids on TV. And we’d play ball, and sit in the sun… but, well, you know how it is.” No where in there does he say he has kids. He says he wants them, not has them.
  18. Tommy Vercetti was born in 1951, making him 60...you genuinely think that GTA V will have a old age pensioner as it's protagonist?
  19. I picked October 15th 2012 (My Birthday), but I'm starting to realise I should have picked something in 2013
  20. I'm not a fan of Mod's, especially the ones that replace GTA branded vehicles with real-life vehicles, I like the fact that they are not real-life ones, That's what ruined Driver San Francisco for me, using real vehicles.
  21. My post about the trailer and dates was a rough guideline, mainly for the people who seem to think the game is near it's release already. Personally I have no clue when the game will be released, no one does.
  22. I do agree about being too far away from the Safe house and having to travel far to save the game....I would just like the option of having one at a time, or even all at a time, with the ability to sell unwanted ones. Just hoping there isn't a ridiculous amount of them.
  23. Better safe houses and the ability to sell old safe houses when we get a new one, I hated it in San Andreas when CJ ended up owning 30+ houses, very unrealistic. Wasn't too bad with Niko, as there were only a few, but personally I liked it better with Luis, as he only had one Safe house. I'm not saying I only want one safe house, I'm saying I only want one at a time.
