  1. Yeah, I'd like to see Elsweyr, too. The mix of Desert and Jungle would be interesting. As long as the next one isn't in High Rock, I'll be happy, really.
  2. @Mass: It's a shame that the Akaviri races haven't made an apperance in a game yet. They are swimming in Asian sauce. It's cool how their military tactics had an influence on the imperials, especially the blades. Cloud Ruler Temple was of Akaviri design. I say was because the bastard Thalmor destroyed it, apparently. Adding on to what Massacre mentioned,I give you some basic info on some of the other non-playable races The Nedes are all humans (not including Redguards) who arrived in Tamriel from Atmora before Ysgramor/Tiber Septim. They came in waves over a period of time. Hence why the forsworn (who are of partial Breton descent, I believe) bitch and moan about being in Skyrim before the nords. Bitching and moaning about being mistreated in a land that wasn't even their's first. The nedes are Tamriel's jews. I read at some point that there may have been humans who were native to Tamriel as well, but they died out. Oh well. The Falmer, those cuddly critteres you find underground, are what are left of the Snow elves, who were the original elven inhabitants of Skyrim. The nords drove them out, and they were forced underground, where the Dwemer took them in. And fed them toxic shit. The two eventually started fighting each over, and when the Dwemer disappeared, the Falmer took over most of their temples or whatever. Except they are a bunch of inbred retards, and are useless as fuck. Hence why they are of little concern to anyone not living in lighthouses. A once pround race who are now dickless and violent. The falmer are Tamriel's Irish. There are also other people from the other continents, like the Sload (who seem awesome), and the Akaviri, who are comprised of 4 different races, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, read about the races in a more coherent fashion here > http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Races Slightly off-topc, I'm hopeful the next Elder scrolls will be set in Black Marsh, which would probably be the last strongthold of Tamriel's resistance to the Ka Po' Tun-led Akaviri invasion that is hinted at in "Mysterious Akavir". Discuss.
  3. III: chatterbox Vice city: wave, vrock, fever, flash, kchat, VCPR San Andreas: K-DST, CSR, bounce Lcs: chatterbox or whatever it was called. Vcs: vrock, flash fm, wave IV: LCHC, the vibe Overall, I'd say wave is my favorite station. Cruisin while listening to "sunglasses at night" never got old. Vrock would have been my favourite, but there was too much hair metal for my tastes. "cum on feel the noize"? Erm, no thanks. I swear I'm the only person who liked CSR.
  4. Misinformed topics are misinformed 1. Rockstar removed "offensive" content from the Australian gtaiv before they submitted it for classification. This was done under the assumption that our OFLC would ban it in its current form. They didn't remove anything from "episodes from liberty city", and it got the same MA15+ rating. I know in most cases, our rating board are to blame for content being removed, but with the GTA series, they have been pretty good. 2. For those blaming our liberal (in our case, labor) government, our games rating system has been in place (and unchanged) since the early 90's. When the original surge of ultra-violent games (including GTA 3) started, our country was ruled by the right (liberals in our case...). Our left here, while a bunch of dumb shits, at least are more open minded when it comes to gaming violence. The amount of games that are banned has dropped under labor. 3. All our state governor-generals have agreed to review the classification system, with the proposed outcome being an R18+ rating.
  5. You remember Niko, right? He's the latest character! Fuck off! It was made in 2004, i tend not to remember things that happened almost 8 years ago! Are there any repressed memories you would like to share with us? You can sit on my lap if you like. Anyway, I'm going to have to go with Zero...
  6. I hope Devy plays some side shows when he tours Australia next year. The lineup for Soundwave is abysmal.
  7. Besides the usual in-game freezes, I've had freezes on the load screen, freezes when loading the map, freezes when hunting wabbits, freezes when lockpicking, freezes when scrolling through my list of potions... At least if my PS3 turns to goop internally, it's only 6 months old, so it's under warranty. The only glitch I've come across is the side exit from Windhelm, The game loads me underneath the dock area outside the door. I just swim out from underneath. It's kind of cool. The only annoying aspect of the game for me is not being able to Fus-Do-Rah Nelkir, the Jarl's son in Dragonsreach. If I hear him say "Another wanderer, here to lick my father's boots" one more time, everyone in Whiterun dies. Anyway, for my second character, I plan to create an archer based on Ted Nugent. Which means I'll try to play through the entire game in only that white loincloth thingy.
  8. I had been alternating between 2 save files but because I thought the crackling static sound was my speakers I turned them off and because the TV volume was a lot lower I saved again without realising the sound was still there. So much for having a back up save, they're both fucked now. I'm going to leave the PS3 turned off while I go the shop and see if it magically fixes itself when I get back. I see you also have the PS3 version. Lucky you... Have you experienced any problems with serious framerate drops/freezing due to save file size yet? I think it kicks in when your save file goes over 5mb. I haven't been able to patch the game yet, and my sessions are being limited to around an hour at a time, as my save files are 12-13mb now. I've still managed to get to over 70 hours of gameplay, though.
  9. Wooh, naked boobies! Not as good as the ones in Heavy Rain though... Story-wise, the first half of the game was sweet, but the second half was ridiculous. If they had held back a bit with the matrix-worship, it would have been better. As for the gameplay, i enjoyed the investigation sequences more than L.A Noire's, but the action parts weren't very in-depth. Which was to be expected from this type of game, I guess.
  10. I made my redguard a Tiara Of Total Triumph (because Circlet just sounds fruity) . It provides him with 13% Stamina for those cold nights at home with the wife. Who's name I can't recall.
  11. lol,I just noticed the motorized skateboard. Go Team Xavier!
  12. ROFL. You know shit just got real when you loose your properties from a tsunami.
  13. I took a break from Skyrim to give this a go today. Those first 3 missions were awesome. I've done a bit of exploring, checking out outfits etc since then. The only negatives for me so far are that the cars still handle like shit, and the songs on the radio mostly suck this time, especially the metal station. Opeth and Mastodon (not that they suck, but they were in SR2, and there are a gazillion other quality metal acts they could have included) again? Hopefully there are some better songs to buy. I was quite excited to see Return Of The Mack in there, though. Is someone else doing the voice of Shaundi this time? I know that Eliza Dusku did it last time, so I just assumed she had returned for this, but she sounds (and looks) different.
  14. I'd like R* to put together a glee-themed station. All your favourite GTA tunes from the past, performed by a bunch of auto-tuned smug tosspots.
  15. 'Tis by far the best. "And all the love I have is especially for youuuuuuu!"
  16. lmao. Maybe leave that for GTA:Hanoi ewww. There was a reason MJ didn't release the songs on that album. Most of them were awful.
  17. I'm hoping for a prog rock station, as well as some folk, J and K pop, Stoner/Doom metal (Sleep), and 60's surfer music (beach boys) On top of the usual rap, rock, metal, country, classic etc that GTA normally has. As much as i thought a lot of IV's music was boring, the variety was good. I want more of that variety, but with better songs.
  18. ^ I've run like a pussy from any giant that has attacked me so far. I've used them to my advantage a couple of times, though. I was getting pwned by a sabre-tooth, so i ran between a giant and a mammoth, and that bitch got stomped to death. My favourite moment in the game so far: Taking on a random dragon, getting it below 50% health, thinking "Man, this is easy", and the next minute being picked up in its jaws, and being tossed to my death. I almost pissed myself laughing.
  19. I've listened to "thirteen" a few times, and I'm not a fan of it. I think Dave has spent far too much time hanging around with Metallica. Ellefson is so low in the mix, and so laid-back with his playing, they might as well have kept Lomenzo. A huge letdown after Endgame. It's about on par with United Abominations, but less catchy.
  20. I'll admit Tim and Eric are hit and miss at the best of times. Some of their stuff is good (mostly the songs, cinco), but the majority of their show is annoying.
  21. Yeah I just saw that. On closer inspection, it appears it will include songs from Tim And Eric and Dethklok (and probably others). Whether it's just songs from the shows, sketches, or a bit of both, I don't know. Riding a Jetski with the Raz song playing would be awesome. "What about the hoes?" "Who needs the hoes"
  22. ^Yeah. The immersion of the comedy club in IV was lost when you saw the same routine more than once. It was a waste of space tbh. I want more music.
  23. Megadeth's "Thirteen" comes out next week. I'm torn between the awesomeness of the lineup, and the fact that there are so many re-recordings on the album. I'm hoping for good things.
  24. And miss "Charlie Wants An Abortion"??? 'It's Always Sunny...' is probably one of my favourite shows ever. Hence the quote in my sig.
