  1. lol, I was actually considering it. Thanks for the warning.
  2. It looks alright, but with so many awesome games coming out, I doubt I'll ever get around to playing it. BTW, the last NFS i played was Most Wanted(Back when street racing games were cool, lol). I heard the Shift games and Hot Pursuit are pretty good, but I'm more into Forza and GT5.
  3. I've put about 7 hours into it so far, and although it's good, it's a bit of a letdown after all the hype. The gameplay is almost identical to Arkham Asylum. Plus, my interwebs has been slowed down, and I haven't been able to download catwoman. Why her part of the game wasn't on the disc is beyond me. I'm hoping to finish it soon, because Skyrim isn't far off... And I have to fill out my tax return. That's pretty important.
  4. I'm about to listen to Opeth's "Heritage". I will report back with a review at some point. Has anyone heard Anthrax's latest album? I've heard that it's better than what people were expecting, but considering what was expected, that's not saying much. I dare not listen to their cover of Refused's "New Noise", lest I get rofl fever and die.
  5. *has multiple seizures on floor* Live "Living Monstrosity" with Santolla, Digiorgio and Hoglan?!?! If it's a half decent live recording, I can die happy after hearing it.
  6. I feel it. It's warm and sticky. A remastered ITP will kick so much arse.
  7. Everything vice listed Also, I'd like to see the return of fictional bands. Something like love fist, but with more talented musicians playing the songs. They should call gene hoglan. He's up for anything.
  8. The relapse site was giving me the shits, so I never got around to ordering Human. oh well. Just heard toxik's "think this" for the first time last week. Fucking epic. It's a shame they broke up after it.
  9. Stereotypical filthy Italian-American - Nah, already had enough of them in the GTA series. Actual character from Italy- Meh. If I want dodgy Italian accents, I'll play Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, thank you very much. Every night before I go to bed, I pray for hot sex with Katy Perry, and for the next GTA not to be based in San Andreas. Knowing my luck, I'll wake up one day as Russell Brand in 20 years, married to an obese woman with lots of money and saggy tits, and a copy of 'Call Of Duty: Really Modern Warfare 5 - Attack Of The Kotick Clones' surgically grafted into my skin. Moral of the story: Be grateful for any GTA, and for the love of penis, think your posts through before you start typing.
  10. Man, I loved the Mafia sentinel. It was my third favourite car after the Yakuza stinger and the Cheetah. And Marney, I don't know what game you were playing. I could jump just fine.
  11. Just thought I'd start a topic celebrating a game, that in my opinion, is the best non-GTA R* game so far. I know, big call. Has anyone played this recently? I'm thinking of dusting off my PS2 to give it another go. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzh1KzXbZhY lol, a preppy black kid. I blame Jack Thompson for this game not being as big as it should have been. It's a pity there hasn't been anything more than rumours about a possible sequel. Also, I can't for the life of me find this on the 360. I think there was a recall or something in Australia for the 360 version, but no overseas sites I use stock it either. I heard the scholarship edition was pretty glitchy.
  12. Just when you thought Metallica were sort of done with being complete sellout bitches... Metallica record material with Lou Reed I can't even think of something humorous to say about that.
  13. I haven't played III in ages. It wasn't as special for me because by the time it was finally released in Australia, I'd lost interest in it a bit, and I didn't buy it until after I'd played Vice City. btw, if there was ever to be a HD remake of III, I think it would benefit from looking more cartoonish and less realistic. I'm thinking something along the lines of Street Fighter IV's visual style, because I'd prefer it to look as different from IV as possible. Not that a remake appears to be on the horizon at this point.
  14. Yeah, Morbid Fails just gets better and better. heh, Dave Mustaine and his manager are the new managers of Testament. That should be interesting. As should Dave's project with Dan Spitz, Red Lamb.
  15. Anyone heard anything about the fallout MMO? The last I heard, it was on the ropes because interplay have gone to shit or something. To be honest, I wasn't that excited about it. I like fallout for the solitary experience. Spending hours surrounded by 12 year olds shouting "shoot the deathclaw! Shoot the deathclaw you noob!" is not my idea of fun. In fact, being sodomized by a spiked bat would be more entertaining.
  16. ^yay! In rather sad news, Cathedral are doing a farewell tour, followed by one last studio album. Come to Australia, you filthy bastards! Speaking of coming to Oz, Forbidden are here for the first time in August. I don't know if I'll go or not.
  17. ARE YOU MOCKING OUR MISERY??! *hits Cuda* Anyway, I can't think of any metal related subjects at the moment, so I'll just post the following for analog, even though he's probably seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=BR&feature=player_embedded&v=JWyABiUpihs The video won't embed for some reason, but it's Neil Peart performing a drum solo on Letterman last week.
  18. R.I.P Seth Putnam The world just became a little less bad-tasted.
  19. Morbid Fails One pic from there LMAO At least Anthrax's new album might actually sound decent in comparison. 'Worship Music' comes out September 13. Should be funny at the very least.
  20. They should quit while they are partially ahead. The last 2-3 seasons haven't been great, especially compared to seasons 6-11. Season 8 was god-like.
  21. Good God! Trey and David look like drag queens. And not hot ones, either.
  22. phew... I managed to cancel the order before it was shipped. If I can get it free, I'll have to give it a listen at some point. Is it funny-bad like C-187's 'Collision' or bad-bad like Cryptopsy's 'The Unspoken King'? Also...
  23. One of the greatest. But I can't fucking believe they're still together after the death of Phil Lynott. They're coming to town and I refuse to see them because it's basically a cover band. Plus they're coming with Priest and I have already seen them and since KK left, its gonna be terrible lol. BLS is playing though, but that's not worth all the money. Yeah, stay well away from that shit. Unless the youtube previews are an elaborate joke, and I pray they are since I pre-ordered the fricken album, this will have to go down as one of the biggest comeback album flops ever. Also, 'Too Extreme' is the most lol-worthy song title in recent memory.
  24. ^All you need to know about "When Man And Machine Collide" I'm currently going through my "Iron balls of molten steel" phase. The higher the vocals, the better HBW recommends the following albums: Vicious Rumors - Digital Dictator Crimson Glory - Transcendence Fates Warning - The Spectre Within Three of the best stadium-rock/power/speed metal albums in existence, which is ironic considering they were lucky to half-fill a club back in the day. Also, though they aren't metal as such, Thin Lizzy were awesome. Just saying.
