Sad to say but I'm sure there will be a couple weeks worth of connection issues for a lot of people. Assuming the heists themselves aren't buggy as fuck.

I've only found 3 previews. IGN, Games Radar, and some euro site I never heard of before. Kotaku has nothing. And apparently other gaming news sites closed shop or merged (Joystiq, CVG). Used to be at least 10 different sites with previews for these things.

I assume it's only on that tablet?

Except they've been using a ton of that time trying to make GTAO playable and re-fixing things that got messed up after each update. And then recoding everything for the new consoles plus PC. They haven't exactly had their whole staff devoted to DLC for the past year and a half.

That's not an "emblem" per se. "Emblems" would be what is on your crew's SC page and shows on your clothing/cars/etc. And since this is more of an advertisement than something worth having a whole topic for, it is now merged into the general crew thread.

So it shouldn't interfere with this event at all unless they completely frig it up.

I'm sure other sites have these issues from time to time but they probably have more direct control over the ads. The top and bottom ads on our site are done by the server guy so we have to bitch to him and then he complains to the ad agency. And since he's on the otherside of the world that can take time to process. I'm sure he's a little nicer to the ad agency then I am to him as well.

Most we can do aside from pulling ads all together is keep bitching to the server guy about it.

I saw an ad for an aftermarket cooling fan that attached over the existing exhaust area. I was thinking "wtf? how is that dinky thing selling?" and then I saw plenty of people talking about it overheating. So I guess they didn't design the cooling system too well and any help is good to have.

From the looks of it the host services screwed up and DoS'd itself (and our server). Obviously they've fixed the issue.

Sochi font was simple enough.

I thought the one in the iGTA Crew was exploited. I was looking at it and thinking "I could do that with some half circles..." and 30 minutes later ^that was done.

Forgot to look at that. Much smaller missing image in IE. From what I've looked at (using the white skin) the new version of the forums has a new icon next to posts but that icon isn't in the dark skin set. It doesn't serve any different purpose than the post number. I'll look at removing it. edit: There. Used the snapback icon from quote boxes.

Snapped a few while getting winter screenshots for the twitter background. I threw these into the #festivesurprise contest for shits and giggles ^Northern Lights ^So cold in the Sea ^Deep Freeze (the open side of the pic was begging for text. I couldn't think of anything witty.)

Interesting. I assume this just happened today since the other 5 people that've used chat since it came back haven't said anything.

I dislike beer. Tastes like piss. There's a couple flavored beers out there that drown out the piss but I still don't drink much of them. I stick to hard stuff. Might sound childish but my favorite has to be Everclear 95%. I like to throw a little bit into soda (Ginger Ale is awesome) to livin' it up. I also like to challenge friends to do straight shots of it. Sometimes they'll do chasers to get rid of the aftertaste. Same with moonshine. As for regular drinks, Berentzen's pear flavored drink is quite good. Did a couple shots of that tonight as well as a bunch of apple ones but the pear is definitely the better one.
