    Fallout

da fuck is that thing on the wall?? rex??
  2. the abstergo story is always the over-arching story that builds upon why you're playing past assassins... and botherhood and revelations really start to expand on that, and with the endings of both, you begin to realize what's at stake here... sadly that will continue to get dragged out, game after game, but it's still the reason why you're playing as ezio and connor... and to be honest, it's really engaging... ubisoft has a really unique story going on here... the assassin stuff is just the mechanic in which you use to extract this information from key figures... you're trying to piece together the past, in order to save the future... just like my favorite movie, 12 monkeys... brilliant IMO... and what's even sweeter is you get to play as lethal killers to piece it all together...
  3. wow, so i just found out that PS3 users get 4 exclusive missions... fucking A, they've been rewarding PS3 users ever since ACII... i wonder what those will be about... i can't wait to find captain kidd's treasure from the pre-order bonus, so i hope the other 4 free missions have to do with tracking down another pirate's booty ...
  4. nigga done got hisself a life...
  5. i have too many ravens on one of my fantasy teams... when they stink, i stink...
  6. not true, psy didn't come back ...
  7. holy crap, you better get started then... game comes out in a little over a week... you're going to be lost on the whole desmond story, abstergo storyline, and why they're in america now...
  8. lol, i love it when people think that makes a difference ... ------------ the crew system seemed alright, but i didn't play more than 6 matches in max payne 3... while it was interesting, it didn't incorporate freeroam since MP3 was linear... basically, i want the crew system to be more like RDR, join a crew and run with them in freeroam, playing matches, co-op stuff, races, etc... i think RDR nailed the freeroam experience... crews need to be like posse's in RDR...
  9. that's collectors edition is going for $80-$120 nowadays... i might have to pony up for it one day, i really want that lunchbox and vault boy bobblehead... or maybe i can find another set cheaper... i don't have to get the PS3 version, i already have that... PC is a little cheaper, and i kinda wonder if it's possible to run that on a more recent spec'd laptop... if i do opt for it, i'll buy that instead of off steam... ohh sorry to get off topic; i don't think it had been posted yet.. it's the 4th part in the IGN "making of" series... there's still one more to go i think...
  10. the only limited edition box set i ever bought was the fallout new vegas one... i would of bought the fallout 3 one too had i knew that fallout would turn into my all-time favorite game series ever... i really want that flag, but i don't want to pay dearly for it... the statue is meh to me, all i want is the flag... fuck man, 10 days away!! starting to get excited... EDIT: holy crap, the first image of desmond in ACIII... watching a UFC fight??
  11. man i was wrong about that k-state WV game, WV isn't ready for the big time, they got embarrassed by kansas state... i didn't realize that kansas was that good, it's really the surprise of the season... also, the wolverines beat the spartans, it's about time too... we've lost 4 straight to them until tonight...
  12. i've done that from time to time, but the map is too damn big to obey all traffic laws... it all depends on if i am in a fucking around mood i guess...

    Fallout

not sure if he really does hate people with hats... i haven't had an issue while wearing one... not sure why the king says that ...

    Fallout

well, they're different, but the story for all of them was much stronger than fallout 3... fallout 3 DLC was memorable, but the story is very rich in new vegas...

    Fallout

the DLC's are better than fallout 3's IMO... start with honest hearts so you get the true first start to the courier backstory... then move on to old world blues, dead money and then lonesome road... you could swap OWB with DM, but those two are kind of the middle ones...

    Fallout

this just popped up on facebook from fallout, i thought it was the coolest thing i've seen in quite some time ...

    Fallout

maybe... but i have beaten both fallout games multiple times so i have you beat there... i know how to play, it just seemed like you didn't with the way you were complaining about having to repair expensive armor... there's always ways to pay for stuff...
  18. i cheated... i had a coupon for a free chicken sandwich from wendy's with the purchase of a small fry and drink... i got some stuff from the growers guild on wednesday so i'll try to see if i can come up with something for dinner tomorrow... i tend to wing it most of the time ... i bought a couple of 8" pizza trays and utility kitchen tongs for the sheer fact of baking small meals in the oven, like a chicken breast or something... i use those kinds of pans at work a lot and it's really convenient and less of a mess afterward too... hopefully they arrive as scheduled today, the package tracking has been unavailable for this journey... tends to happen sometimes on amazon...

    Fallout

sounds like you use glitches all the time ... goodsprings?? where's the fun in already being level 50 before you even started playing the game?? no wonder you didn't know which perks to take when building your character, you never even played with him yet... fallout 3 was different though... there wasn't a weapon repair kit or jury rigging perk... you had to be smart with your money and equipment... but once the enclave showed up, wearing heavy armor or selling it, helped the cap flow... or help fund repairs for some of your other equipment... plus, you can be an ultimate badass wearing this; equipment doesn't always tell the story...

    Fallout

but you're complaining about not having enough money for repairing armor... so clearly, jury rigging would of been a very important perk to take... i'm confused ... you do have enough money to repair then??

    Fallout

ohh trust me, i would switch to something else for that... but a regular deathclaw? nah, i'm good... i got enough stimpacks in case health dropped a little faster than i wanted it to... wow, jurry rigging is one of the most important perks in new vegas...

    Fallout

i spent a lot of the game wearing this outfit with my unarmed/energy weapons character; i sunk a couple of perks in strengthening my DT so i could take a beating or two... i only switched to my good armor in tight situations... but even then, you should of taken the jury rigging perk so you can repair your enclave armor, or any power armor with another heavy armor... i went around buying up all the combat armors everywhere i went so i could use it to repair my ranger combat armor with one of my other characters... like i said, i never had a problem paying or repairing my equipment... only in the early levels... and perhaps you're passing up on good stuff scavenging that could be used for crafting other stuff that sells for more caps?? just because it's worthless, doesn't mean it's not valuable in something else... sure, there's a lot of junk out there, but you gotta know how to pick through the rubbish...

    Fallout

same... what's the point of role playing if you're going to take shortcuts?? if i need money, i start gambling or repairing weapons to resell for caps... i collect every duct tape, wrench, scrap electronic/metal, and wonderglue for the sole reason of creating weapon repair kits... just so i can repair some weapons and sell them when i need to... and once you play through dead money?? pssh, a good cap flow will never be an issue anymore... also, i don't really care about having the best of the best stuff... i go with what i like... my first new vegas character, bones, used the all-american rifle and riot shotgun pretty much 95% of the time... not nearly the best, but with the right perks they are unstoppable... It depends on how you like to roleplay. Scavenging for hours doesn't seem like fun. it's fun to me... it's actually the entire structure to what a fallout game is... scavenging... if you can't afford to repair your armor, then perhaps you need to wear something else...
