i love that movie, it's not shit... it's where i got the name and character idea... however, i think i am gonna give him the survivalist beard, we'll see... he's also going to have a piercing glare, and be very intelligent and suave, just like cyrus... ohh and he's taking the independent route, but doing it in an evil way...

like massacre said, you can just sink points into speech, and use magazines & clothing boosters too... there's no good perk associated with charisma either, except for the animal friend perk... but even that perk's benefit is questionable.. i always sink points into luck because of it's critical hit boost, and because it slightly boosts all skills... i usually put it at 6, but charisma is usually one or two... i was thinking of making cyrus an energy weapon/big weapon wielding beast, who loves fire and explosions too... and i also want to abuse chems like a mother fucker for once... i hardly ever use them, so i am taking the "logan's loophole" trait, which puts the level cap at 30, but allows me to never get addicted to anything... and then i'll take the "skilled" trait that adds +5 to all skills, but makes experience points accumulate 10% slower, which should offset the level cap and force me to carefully craft my skills...

@HBW - sweet... @the question - lets see, fallout 3 had 4 characters... valentine, lucifer, omega, and tanya... new vegas had 4... bones, delilah, sanchez, and roscoe... but i plan on start that 5th file at some point, like i've been mentioning so far... gonna call him cyrus (the virus)... and skyrim had a few characters too... i too roleplay heavily with fallout and skyrim characters... they have specific morals, which always defines how i play with them... bones was a supreme guns expert with a gambling problem... fit right in with NCR... delilah was a wild flower that did what she wanted, which appealed to caeser, she became his lover... sanchez was a cannibal who barely could speak english... house promised him caps and he chose that path... i never did much with roscoe, but he and delilah found their own player housing locations... roscoe was staying in that shack by nellis air force base... and delilah had a house in nipton... not sure what i am gonna do with cyrus, but i want to try something different... i got an idea, but i'll see if it works... how many of you used the camper at goodsprings source for player housing until you found a place? just about every file for me ...

i didn't even bother with the limited editions... i figured the sniper challenge was enough... the only thing worth it would be the agency weapon pack, but to be honest, i'll be unlocking plenty of weapons during the game... the latest limited edition game packages have been pretty shitty... even the assassins creed 3 one is... $120 for a statue and flag?? no thanks...

hmm, made lots of purchases through the itunes store i take it...

why do people act like not getting an iphone sucks?? the galaxy is a mighty fine piece of tech... one of my friends has it, it's slick...

with skyrim, the spells you find on weapons are spells you can learn and improve, despite the weapon being used... the weapons unfortunately are leveled and never have a unique variant that was more damaging... fallout has unique weapons for just about every standard weapon... most have a slight edge over their counterpart and like blacksox9 said, they're worth the journey to find, or a huge surprise when you stumble upon one... it's more exciting opening a cabinet or footlocker in fallout than it is opening a chest or sack in skyrim...

really? that's pretty shitty for an open world stealth game... i expected at least 12-14 hours, which translates to 20+ for me... @stoic - really? this over AC3? have you lost your mind?!

i played the legion route evil with delilah... i played the house route with a mexican that could barely speak english, he was the hardcore mode file... and of course bones was full on NCR, and a all-around good guy, despite a couple of questionable decisions...

the old one had principals... the new one is very intelligent too, but only knows of war... fuck it, i am starting that fallout file as soon as revolution is over... speaking of fallout, here's a show with a little bit of that flavor...

i love the old one... the new one is quite powerful and has quite the presence... but so did the old one... edward sallow knew how to pick 'em ...

yea, the yes man route allows you to do what YOU want, not what the other factions want you to do... legion comes off as the evil one at first glance, but they turned petty tribes into fully fledged warriors and gave them a purpose... women are slaves and children train to be warriors, but its either that or die by a raider i guess... <{ i iposteded dat shit!!1! }

cool story, bro... @DiO - caeser's legion is much more organized and civilized... the NCR has the right intentions but they're spread so thin that they're really just a shell of their former selves... they're everywhere, but barely helping with limited funds, which frustrates most that deal with them... it's up to you to fix that though, but the legion needs no fixing, he just needs another right hand man after sending the last one into the grand canyon... house offers the real evil route as his is all about controlling the entire mojave wasteland with his robots and unlimited cap flow... he wants to control everything, including the factions... two routes lead to a civil war, and the other sneaks up from behind and ass rapes them while they're busy playing cowboys and indians... i enjoyed all 3 routes actually...

winter rental for me... i got this and sleeping dogs to play at some point this year...

working with yes man for a while is a good way to stay open to options while checking out the factions... but go too deep into the main faction quests for NCR/house/legion and you start cancelling out the other paths, or outcomes to those stories...

since you're finally playing new vegas, here's my characters, in order of creation too... bones: delilah: sanchez: roscoe: fuck it, i am gonna start a new character tonight... a big gun wielding, explosives skilled maniac...

yea, gotta have a little luck to have success in vegas... with a level of at least 7, you can legitimately keep playing blackjack hand after hand and have more ups than downs... some ways to boost the skill; - buy the naughty nightwear from mick and ralphs after passing a speech check with mick... - buy the permanent implant upgrade from >DR. USANAGI<... - lucky shades are available if you're committed to the legion, but it's best to not commit to a side yet...

it would make sense, but it's too late for that now... it'd take me at least 2 months to play thru them, and in that time absolution would of released... i think right now it would be smarter to release around christmas because there might be a bunch of new fans to the series <{ i iposteded dat shit!!1! }

wow, i don't expect to see this in a couple of weeks without some sort of announcement... i would love to have it though because i know the developers would include some rather fun trophies to chase... there's quite a few levels that offer up very unique approaches should you find them... but too soon... perhaps a holiday release?? this would be a hard secret to keep under wraps all this time if it were coming out in less than two weeks...

that lightweight leather armor is still surprisingly useful when you're in the thick of the game... most of the other pre-ordered item packs are useless, but that caravan pack gives you useful armor and repair kits...

hey massacre, he also played hitman... ------------- i bought the die hard blu-ray collection for $20 sometime last year, i rank the series as; #1(rank) is the 4th one (movie), #2 is 3rd, #3 is 1st, and #4 is the 2 one, didn't really get into that one.... like the end of that trailer says though, he's the new jersey version of james bond... he's a bad mother fucker that is always the man for the job, even if he didn't choose to be...

live free or die hard was really good IMO... i'll give this one a chance...
