our pitchers can go up against anything in the NL... we're really rolling right now...

new vegas has balanced out the weapons quite well... when you choose a weapon path, you know you're going to find some good weapons for that skill... 3 was quite limited, but then again, it was also the first in the re-boot... new vegas definitely expanded upon what 3 set out to do...

even the grenade launchers rape... fuck, so does dynamite... i took out 4 viper gang members with one, and 6 bighorners once too... i've taken out a crowd a few times... i never started out with a decent explosives skill before, it's making this go around quite entertaining ... i can't wait to get my hands on a rocket launcher... haven't yet, only level 7 i think...

i'd prefer a man in the sky... otherwise you'll get coaches getting upset and throwing flags just to get the umpire to come over and talk to them... i'd prefer someone up top who is called in on plays that are very questionable... i don't want to see flags being thrown on a bang bang play at first in the bottom of the 9th because the coach still had his challenge left...

it was infante, and that call wasn't as important to the game as it's being made out to be... yes, it's a cry for instant replay, but the yankees were already down by a run at that point, and they had only 4 hits the entire game, never getting a runner into scoring position... so it had no effect on the game, but it does draw more attention to instant replay... i think i like the idea of an eye in the sky for the playoffs... an ump in a booth, that can call down to the umps to have them look at a play... but once you open pandora's box, every close play will start to get reviewed, and that's just going to take away from the game itself... it's a gentlemen's game, not a bunch of playboys with their own clothing lines, like other sports, where a close call could cost them millions in endorsements..

1st - why would you pitch around fielder if jackson is on first?? all you're doing is putting a runner in scoring position, with one out, with a batter that has had success against you... when you have protection in the lineup, you get more opportunities... it's really why cabrera had such a good season, he had protection all around him... and in this instance, fielder has protection... i would definitely keep my eye on jackson though, if he reaches second, the double play is no longer a factor, and with a guy that's struck out 10 times against you, and has probably a few GIDP's against you, you definitely don't want jackson to get a free base in this situation... which also ties back into why you wouldn't pitch around fielder either... you don't want jackson in scoring position with one out... he's got 2 chances to round 3rd, and with his speed, he won't have a problem... 2nd - you move the infield in, and pitch to him... it's too risky to take away baserunners from the triple crown winner on deck, even if berry strikes out in the situation... the squeeze is a no-go with cabrera on deck... yea, there's a ton of strategy to baseball... it's the ultimate chess game... and it's true, those that don't know the game, think it's boring... just like chess ...

same... what's the point of role playing if you're going to take shortcuts?? if i need money, i start gambling or repairing weapons to resell for caps... i collect every duct tape, wrench, scrap electronic/metal, and wonderglue for the sole reason of creating weapon repair kits... just so i can repair some weapons and sell them when i need to... and once you play through dead money?? pssh, a good cap flow will never be an issue anymore... also, i don't really care about having the best of the best stuff... i go with what i like... my first new vegas character, bones, used the all-american rifle and riot shotgun pretty much 95% of the time... not nearly the best, but with the right perks they are unstoppable...

fucking rain delays for both games today... tigers will have to delay it 'till tomorrow... i think we could beat both of them honestly... the cards scare me a little more because of how hot they were entering the playoffs, plus there's bad blood in that series... they beat us in the world series back in '06, both leyland and la russa(not there anymore i know) are best friends, and we've always had tough games every time we met... but i still think we could beat them... right now, the tigers and cards are the best teams... but that's easy to say since we're up 3-0 and the cards are up 2-1 now... but going into the playoffs, you could of said the same thing... i thought the reds would of beat the giants, but the giants are playing well in the playoffs... it's funny, you hear it all the time in all sports, but the playoffs are a second season... stats and records all reset and you start over... it's those that enter the playoffs hot and with a good team that tend to sustain that turnover... the tigers had to get hot to win the division from the sox, and the cards had to practically win out to secure a wild card spot... and we're both good teams, we rolled over other teams that were hot... i could talk baseball all day... i fucking LOVE baseball...

dude, it's impossible to string together an offense in the playoffs... most teams make the playoffs because of their starting pitching... runs are hard to come by, but our team is getting timely hits from everyone in the lineup in clutch moments... i think the offense is doing good, i more concerned about our bullpen since valverde has blown 2 saves this year in the playoffs...

love the chainsaw... but no auto axe, the chainsaw is it's replacement...

with the way our starting pitching is throwing, it's hard to see any obstacles in our way...

i remember using two-step goodbye for my unarmed character... the ballistic fists are fun to use... also, i like the baseball bat with nails on it... haven't found that mod for my current character yet...

k-state and WV should be a good one this saturday... i got the in-state rivalry game this weekend, michigan vs michigan state...

i go for good weapons early, and with the GRA weapons pack, i can even find them from chet in goodsprings ... quicker kills negate whatever kind of armor you got on in the first place ... i always sink points heavily into my main weapon skill to get a jump start on that category before i try to balance others out... yes man is so cool of a character... dave foley voices it in case you didin't know DiO... canada's favorite son...

ehh, when you've played enough files like i have, you kinda want to do something different... like i said, i've gotten sick of using the novac room... plus, if i am gonna run vegas, i kinda want to feel like i do... and staying in the presidential suite of the tops adds to that notion ... i'll be running the show from there, similar to how benny ran things... hell, i might even wear his suit too ...

i've used that place way too much... i am probably gonna use that place for crafting because there's no workbenches on the strip... actually, i forgot, ED-E is now a traveling bench... and i can also use veronica for crafting too... nevermind then...

I dont think caesar would want a wild flower that did what she wanted, I would think he would want more submissive partner. she solved all of his problems, and she always came back for more... sounds submissive to me... -------------------- HEEEEREEE'SS CYRUS!! i've been blowing shit up since the start... i didn't have a lot of chances to piss people off tracking down benny though... made it through primm pass low leveled, but cyrus had his conflicts here and there with the NCR... all of that was recently wiped cleared of course, but he's now on a mission to run this wasteland after meeting yes man... i now got myself a nice place to call home thanks to talking swank into letting me bring weapons in... i'm just testing out the containers now and the objects in the room... hope it passes the test, i've always wanted to use this presidential suite, but they never let me bring weapons in...

i love that movie, it's not shit... it's where i got the name and character idea... however, i think i am gonna give him the survivalist beard, we'll see... he's also going to have a piercing glare, and be very intelligent and suave, just like cyrus... ohh and he's taking the independent route, but doing it in an evil way...

like massacre said, you can just sink points into speech, and use magazines & clothing boosters too... there's no good perk associated with charisma either, except for the animal friend perk... but even that perk's benefit is questionable.. i always sink points into luck because of it's critical hit boost, and because it slightly boosts all skills... i usually put it at 6, but charisma is usually one or two... i was thinking of making cyrus an energy weapon/big weapon wielding beast, who loves fire and explosions too... and i also want to abuse chems like a mother fucker for once... i hardly ever use them, so i am taking the "logan's loophole" trait, which puts the level cap at 30, but allows me to never get addicted to anything... and then i'll take the "skilled" trait that adds +5 to all skills, but makes experience points accumulate 10% slower, which should offset the level cap and force me to carefully craft my skills...

@HBW - sweet... @the question - lets see, fallout 3 had 4 characters... valentine, lucifer, omega, and tanya... new vegas had 4... bones, delilah, sanchez, and roscoe... but i plan on start that 5th file at some point, like i've been mentioning so far... gonna call him cyrus (the virus)... and skyrim had a few characters too... i too roleplay heavily with fallout and skyrim characters... they have specific morals, which always defines how i play with them... bones was a supreme guns expert with a gambling problem... fit right in with NCR... delilah was a wild flower that did what she wanted, which appealed to caeser, she became his lover... sanchez was a cannibal who barely could speak english... house promised him caps and he chose that path... i never did much with roscoe, but he and delilah found their own player housing locations... roscoe was staying in that shack by nellis air force base... and delilah had a house in nipton... not sure what i am gonna do with cyrus, but i want to try something different... i got an idea, but i'll see if it works... how many of you used the camper at goodsprings source for player housing until you found a place? just about every file for me ...
