haha, it's the 1st time since like the 30's that we've played in nebraska... we've played each other plenty of times, especially in bowl games, but yea... it's been a while, but my team had better be ready... perhaps playing in one of the most hostile environment in the country, wisconsin, has prepared us for dealing with one of the toughest places to play... either way, i'll be working and attending a halloween party tonight and the world series resumes tonight too, so i might not get much of a chance to watch it... too much going on tonight in my world...

good pitching duel, but once again, the bats were non-existent... our offense has looked pretty bad for the most part in the postseason...

i was about to post a picture of rodeo drive for the one that mentioned the cobblestone road on the last page... this robbery is definitely taking place on R*'s version of rodeo drive... i too also saw this as a front for a robbery side mission... i am gonna call it now, but i could envision the citizens of los santos calling the trio, "the gasmask bandits" ...

verlander came out a little flat against a team that was ready to go... i do like that when the giants got sloppy, the tigers took advantage though, showing them that we're not done... it's only one game and our starter didn't bring it... but tomorrow it's fister, who has been lights out this postseason... the funny thing is, verlander might not be our best pitcher right now, the last series showed that... fister, scherzer and even anibal seemed to be more lethal... i am not too concerned because like i said, it's only one game... we've got the arms, and we can do this... even verlander will have another say when we win a game... just don't ever put valverde in the game again... we've got a ton of better guys in the bullpen right now...

i like the thinner black outline on the action in front, but with the soft defined edges in the background... the older ones had it's own distinct design, and a much thicker stroke, but i like this one over the GTAIV artwork, which has no outline at all... i guess i am just a sucker for stroked edges ... plus, that's kinda their style... IV tried something a little different but it didn't have the same punch... the small stroke kinda has a throwback feel to it...

yeah trailers were all a mix of cutscenes and actual gameplay... I remember a lot of talks about that scene with the 180° turn of an infernus, whether it's gameplay or cutszene, and somewhere down the line R* confirmed that this is actual gameplay footage even R*'s cutscenes are usually in-game... they don't do fancy cinematography like say, the uncharted series does for cutscenes... they keep it all grounded within the game... so everything you see, is from the game itself...

yea, i guess it might not be the GI cover... but it definitely has those two characters again... i really wonder if they're both playable, or if it's a partner system similar to LA noire...

well, the same artwork, not the same exact image... they tend to wrap teh cover image all the way to the back page too... looks like it could fit to me...

who wants to bet that this could be the cover image for GI??

an info blowout is about 2 weeks away it seems... game informer comes out in the middle of the month i think, so expect to see screens of it about a week ahead of time...

well as you can tell from my avatar, i am pretty excited about this years world series... it's not often your team is there unless you root for the yankees... we embarrassed them in the last series, so you bet your ass they're going to go out and buy the 3 best available free agents this offseason... because that's what they do... but teams like the tigers that put all their chips into a few marquee guys for a few years, deserve to get recognize every once and awhile... and it's also pretty cool to see teams like the marlins and rays that get there without spending much... we all hate the big market teams in baseball... they have the money and they spend it like it's going out of style, just like your beloved red sox... their last off-season didn't pay off though, and they've since shed most of that, so they can spend more this off-season like the yankees...

he liked that caeser provided a way of structure and hated how the NCR never had direction... but he never believed in ceaser's way of enslaving... he wears the flag of an independent... he wants to have the freedom to choose (shit, am i spilling over from my feed post??) and was always curious in what you thought... shit, i don't wanna spoil a whole lot for DiO, i should stop... but he's quite the character... i kinda wish the burned man would of been a companion after honest hearts, if you helped him out of course... but even he changed, and after seeing the light, didn't want to fall to caeser and his ways again... new vegas cries out for an independent vegas... they really don't provide an evil route... then again, neither did 3... i never had to the chance to fight for the enclave....

yea, kinda disappointing really... they claimed they had a hard time coding him in, but that's complete bullshit when you consider how many followers and temporary followers you can have in fallout... they wanted to milk the fans of course... the way he talked though, even he was independent... he never struck me as a devote legionnaire...

yea, there's only two followers that don't give a shit, and they're both robots, which makes them neutral... that was the one thing that bothered me about new vegas... fallout 3 gave you jericho and clover for the evil route... new vegas gives you no such companion...

you could create a kickass companion mod that everyone would like, outside of the 80% of those that want a sex slave following them, having orgies with ghouls and super mutants in irradiated pools of radiation... the iGTA companion group... one for each faction... and a couple that don't give a shit where you go, they just want to blow shit up!!

QD doesn't talk baseball, lol... but yea, they'll need a stroke of luck from god himself... tigers/giants... two teams super hot at the moment... this should be a great series, and with verlander going in game one, i think our chances are definitely in our favor... we held the yankees to a 1.00 ERA in the last series... they couldn't score on our pitching... the best offense couldn't do it...

sigh, it's terrible to watch for those that don't understand the game... you'd be on the edge of your seat if you actually understood the strategy of the game... it's intense... @craze - lol, the cubs will never break the curse... there is way too much pressure on them, nearly twice the amount the red sox had back on '04... they will never live up to the daunting pressure their fans and media have placed on them... they're happy being who they are; lovable losers... back in '03, the cubs collapsed over a simple foul ball... they can't handle it, and will never win a championship...

bleh, doesn't matter who it is, if the story is done right, and the atmosphere is good, it'll be decent... there's not much competition for a pretty good adaptation so the bar is set quite low ... silent hill is pretty much the only one i can think of...

american civil war?? that time period is rich in history too... could tie into connors seed since it takes place some 50 years after the revolutionary war...

yea, i skimmed past those things in brotherhood and revelations because i was renting the games and didn't have the time... that's a good point though, i should probably read up on those...
