Gta will be around after you get back, might even be able to pick up the goty edition... Well that's a good thought, but they'll probably leave the GOTY edition until they've released all the DLC which will take more than 6 months I reckon. At least it's win/win whether I get the job or not. Playing GTAV on release or amazing job experience. If I get the job I'll still have Internet though and I doubt I'll be able to avoid the forums which will be torture Surely the entertainment options will be limited to something like seal clubbing or penguin raping (which sounds fun but may get boring, I don't know) and you won't be working all the time.... I want contact lenses that can scan a person's appearance and alter it real time so you can see a modified image of the person. The only reason I want this is so I can remain faithful to the mrs while fucking someone different every night.

I don't usually get the special editions but I am this time. My pre-order is essentially for any version of the game I want or can afford at the time. Did you guys get a free poster when you pre-ordered?? I pre-ordered before they had the promo shit in the shops and they didn't give me one at the time so I might have to cause some trouble - my office at work needs a GTAV poster.

I got a 47" Philips full HD LCD that I thought was really good except it when it comes to playing newer games on the PS3 - the graphics just go to shit and shake and splinter, making the game unplayable without having an epileptic fit half way through, but it seems to be fine when my son wants to play The Jak and Daxter Trilogy. I haven't had time to try and calibrate the tv to the PS3 properly though so hopefully that's it....

sorry i don't play max payne 3 but i can get at what your saying,you just don't like things that are dual. still you can't be bad ass if you aren't shooting two handguns off or two micro smg's the only problem is you run out of ammo faster and then you will need more ammo. So what you are getting at is it would be dumb to have dual desert eagle's but smart to have dual 9mm's,or like something that requires you to use 2 hands too fire and you have duals, then yes that would be stupid ,but just having one ,of a gun that should not be used as duals is ok then I under stand completely. Tell me if i am close to what you are saying or all hope is lost for me. I think what he's getting at is dual weapons shouldn't be in the game. First off using two guns at once on a single target is completely rediculous.. It would be much better to put accuracy into one weapon and hopefully make the killshot quickly. It's ok in games like max payne because max payne is just a crazy slomo diving bad ass game. But as you will see in max payne's multiplayer, dual pistols/smg's completely dominate, making using a single pistol/smg completely obsolete unless you're a much better shot than your oponent. So I believe he, much like myself, would prefer to keep dual weapons out of gta 5. Using two guns at once is something that is best saved for movies and games that don't center on realism. I prefer shooting to be realistic as possible in gta, and duals would just get in the way of it and make it seem cheesy or childish. You can only take realism so far though. If shooting was too realistic, you could only carry 2 or 3 guns and fuck all explosives, can't go on a decent spree with such a pitiful armoury. Recoil would be a bitch and no aim assist would make it worse. Would spoil the fun for me, I am not after a COD experience. Dual wielding would be cool for the smaller guns. Especially if you could aim each separately.... Dual wielding didn't hurt San Andreas none.

Just finished Damned by Chuck Palahniuk and am trying to get Skagboys by Irvine Welsh from the library.

I might be showing my age but I grew up in game arcades playing the classics like Space Invaders, Galaga and Pac-Man, when I was around 6 or 7 years old. As I got older moved onto to games like Hyper-Olympics, Karate Champ and Rolling Thunder. One of my favourite games around that time was about a fat, fire-breathing Russian in MC Hammer pants - can't remember what is was called now... I remember when the original Street Fighter came out - the one where you could only play as Ryu or Ken. Became the first in the local arcade to master the "special" moves and was the first to finish the game as a result... Aah good times. I wish there was a MAME emulater for the Xbox..... My mate had an Atari 2600 when they first came out and played a bit on the ZX Spectrum before moving on to the C64. Had all sorts of different consoles since then. But no games then or since has given me as much pleasure as GTA: VC and GTA:SA - my favourite games of all-time

Judging in MMA is probably the one thing they don't have right yet... I thought Shogun ultimately lost but 29-28 - he didn't get his arse wiped like the judges seemed to think. Point scoring fighting is the way of the future and it sucks... Henderson is crazy good though - does enough to hold my interest but doesn't seem to have a way to end a fight.. And you are right about the Diaz's but at least they go out there to finsh their opponent. Considering they can act like spoilt brats, I thought nate was classy in defeat...

I'll be watching albeit delayed I agree with your Bendo/ Diaz prediction but I really want Diaz to win because he is a more exciting fighter and a pothead!! It depends if the fit, motivated Shogun turns up for him to get a victory - I really hope he does but could easily see him dominated if he is off his game BJ Penn is one of my all-time favourites but the modern game has caught up with him a bit - possibly the best lightweight of all time but hasn't fought well at WW lately. Apparently he has put in the effort this time and McDonald is an exciting young prospect so it should be a ripper!!! Swick has looked a bit skeletal lately, trying to cut too much weight, maybe he has got a bit better at it and has the tools to win but yeah, Matt Brown is on a pretty good roll - too close to call for me. Can't wait

I would like to see 3-5 varieties of each of the staple GTA guns - Handgun - Shotgun - Machine Pistol/SMG - Assault Rifle - Sniper Rifle Each type of gun variety is based around maybe 3 or 4 variables, for example - Power/ damage - Firing speed - Reload speed - Ammo capacity With dual wielding capability for the smaller guns.... Ammunation is back so these will be freely available at some stage. I am sure I read in one of those interviews that the mini-gun would be back to but I might have been stoned! Then for explosives - anyone think Trevor will be the man with the plan here? - Grenades - Molotovs - Semtex - Motion sensitive landmines - Trevor's arson ability I think the heavier weapons will be supplied mainly by Trevor too. Ex-military connections. - RPG - Flamethrower (preferably napalm) - Mini-gun - Surface to air missiles Maybe more but I know fuck all about that sort of stuff so can't think of anything else. It would be cool if Trevor, or any of the other two for that matter, had an ability to upgrade the basic guns with things like - Larger ammo capacity - Silencers - Grenade launching attachments for rifles - Thermal sights for sniper rifles - Laser sights Or making pipe bombs... Melee weapons should be environmentally based and have a huge variety. Something like The Warriors but more refined... Walk into a kitchen and you have a selection of knives Go to a tool shed and choose between the chainsaw and the scythe Go to a bar, smash someone over the head with a bottle then stab them with it or use the pool cue as a skewer on some poor cunt Walk down the street, pick up a brick and cave someones skull in or grab a fence paling and bash dudes And all that sort of hilarity.... The possibilities are endless really and I hope that R* have the room to fit that sort of stuff in but whatever they do should be fine with me. And that is what I want.. The End

GTA Vice CIty was the shit for me. Didn't play any of the original PS1 titles and had an interest in GTA3 but GTA: Vice City was the game that hooked me. At first, it was the ability to fuck someone up with a golf club. But then the characters and storyline got me, and then the radio stations added to the excitement. Aaahh good times..... I will try to get it somehow - the one thing I would change about the game, though, would be not dying when you fell in water. Especially after playing GTA:SA
