No idea what the download version is like (for the base game), but I haven't run into any major glitches on the disc version on PC. At that price, just go ahead and buy it.
-
That is completely different. Rule 30 says that there are no girls on the internet. Respect the rules.

*Grabs Mace of Molag Bal and Mehrunes' Razor* Sorry, my employers demand your blood. Stoic knows how the internet works, and he didn't see the picture you posted. His skepticism is understandable.

SVU isn't depressing, that show is hilarious.

Yeah, but you play Fallout, you know what you're doing. I wasn't sure how quickly Mercedes was getting the hang of it. She seems to be doing pretty well.

Bonus points for Ezio being old, though. An older, wiser, world-weary Ezio really added to the story. I loved the endings for Altair and Ezio; the "Sit down and rest a while..." part of Altair's ending really got to me. Having not played the first game, I really didn't give a shit about him going in, but his parts in this game made him grow on me very quickly. The Desmond part kind of ruined the ending, but they kind of have to end the game with him.

Oh, you'll do fine against the Forsworn then.

Skyrim is game of the decade, hands down. Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Saints Row: The Third were both great additions to their respective franchises, but I found them both lacking compared to the previous game. Gears of War 3 and Infamous 2 were both amazing sequels, each wrapping up their series' stories perfectly and improving on the previous games in every way. I haven't played Uncharted 3 or Arkham City, but I'm sure they're worthy of the praise they've gotten. So, my top five are: 1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 2. Saints Row: The Third 3. Assassin's Creed: Revelations 4. Infamous 2 5. Gears of War 3 I don't give a shit about the rest of the games in the poll, but I would like to point out that anyone who thinks Modern Warfare 3 is even in the top ten games of the year is an idiot.

When you go after the Priest of Boethiah, don't enter the building he's in from the road. Go around, get on the mountains behind it, drop down to the top floor, and go in the door on the left. I think it's the left, anyway; if you don't see the prison cells right away, you went in the wrong door. Also, I don't remember what level you're at, but you're probably going to get your ass handed to you by the Forsworn. Level up some more.

God damn it, now I have to post this again... When I turn, I don't lean in the direction I'm turning. Neither should Niko. Fix it. That is all. -
Ashur's armor is garbage (most power armor is), it just looks cool. The Chinese Stealth Suit will carry you through the entire game, if you're the stealthy type. I was pretty much the almighty god of stealth back in the Fallout 3 days - which continued into Skyrim, but not New Vegas - so if you're going the stealth route, I've got tons of advice.

Ah, I stopped after meeting Paarthunax. The main quest was just moving along too quickly for my taste, same as Oblivion and Fallout 3.
-
I do identify with both Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon, but Hermaeus Mora is where it's at. Hermaeus is badass and Lovecraftian, and has the coolest plane of Oblivion. Speaking of, has anyone found the quest for Hermaeus Mora yet? I'd like to get a few clues and find the quest myself rather than just check the wiki.

I had something meaningful to say just now, but then I pictured a Deathclaw in Skyrim graphics and shit my pants...

Just imagine how bad it's going to be in Fallout 4. I get half an erection every time I think about how this new tech is going to translate from Elder Scrolls to Fallout. But, that's a discussion for the Fallout topic.

That sucks, I already have three. I was hoping it wouldn't be this short, I'm enjoying myself too much.

When you want to join, just walk around Windhelm until you see a dark elf woman talking to a Nord kid about Aventus Arentino (near the Grey Quarter), and that'll start the quest. I don't remember if you have to actually talk to one of them, or just overhear their conversation.

I'm enjoying the Altair parts, especially the one where you escape Masyaf with your son. Never would have thought unlimited throwing knives could be so much fun. Are the five keys I'm collecting getting me into an end-game area, or is it another badass set of armor followed by more missions?

Scrolls are one-time, books are permanent. I laugh at the both of you, in a very rude fashion.
-
Pretty much. I don't see it as an issue, personally; I just sell everything but the health/stamina/magicka potions.

Don't get your hopes up for Fable III, it's nowhere near as good as II. Skyrim is an all-around masterpiece. Aside from the glitches (which I haven't run into), there's nothing about Skyrim that I don't love. I bought the disc versions of the DLC as they were released, but I had to download Mothership Zeta, and had the same problem you're having. Sign into Games For Windows Live from the main menu, if you haven't already. I think that's all I had to do to get it to run.

Today, the Skyrim topic beat out the Fallout topic for the second highest number of replies on the forums. Now let's see if it can overcome the hundreds of noob posts in the GTA V wishlist topic.
-
Now you see why the Fallout topic has the third highest number of replies on a Grand Theft Auto site. It was first until the noob posts made the "What are you looking for in GTA V?" topic first, and second until today when the Skyrim topic took its place.

Didn't you buy the DLC with it? Broken Steel should've kicked in right after you finished the main quest. As for Dogmeat, you find him at the junkyard, no quest involved.
