  1. So considerably we are getting more information because all three of the other magazines will have different questions in each interview, even if the first few panels are all the same. I hope these french guys ask about car customization.
  2. Hes referring to the Del Perro Pier screenshot, but i think the picture was just distorted due to the picture being taken of an image so small.
  3. I read the panel carefully and I saw the part where it talks about the protagonist. East coast has to be new york since it's dark and kind of gloomy (he did say he moved to LA for benefit of the weather). So my guess is he's an Italian mobster trying to escape the mafia he worked for, but his work isn't necessarily finished.... and if he doesn't finish it, he'll be finished.
  4. A bold new direction in open world freedom: no restricted areas, bigger map. In multiplayer: new crew system and ranking system, possibly another few game modes and a new way to navigate them. In story-telling and mission based gameplay: This is the toughest one, but i was thinking maybe the game would be based on tv shows due to the depiction of the artworks. And the story might be partially narrated, like how they did in max payne 3, maybe you can hear the protagonists thoughts and possibly even see flashback-like cut-scenes. i still doubt that there will be more than one protag though, can't see it being very plausible.
  5. construction could possibly be in the game if the changes happened during the missions. ex. (you blew up a crane, and for the rest of the game the crane was a pile or debris). as for seasons, i can't see that really happening, especially not winter. I know that Cali has ski resort, but they barely ever get snow fall in la.
  6. the theme is money. rob 20 banks and 30 stores? collect 100 duffle bags of 1000$ and have it be profitable to you? maybe dog tags? 8 notes in the forest and if you don't get them fast enough bigfoot rapes you?
  7. San Diego is plausible. San Feirro and Las Venturas are not coming back, deal with it. Mexican border is less likely, but still makes sense. there IS something over the mountains (possibly a large town, since in California the main cities are coastal) : so it isn't a boundary. the map only appears small in the screenshots, due to the dramatic change from the skyscraper infested New York streets. Los Angeles has a very built up skyline in real life, but i would believe the made a lot of the buildings smaller, made smaller buildings slightly bigger and completely got rid of very small buildings to accommodate jets in a realistic and appreciable way. the map could be massive, at least 1 1/2 to 2 times bigger than gta 4's map excluding the spacing in between the boroughs, and there will just be less tall buildings and more small houses, and detailed wilder biomes.
  8. i think the point was to predict how big the map is, not try and pretend that you know how big it is or what it looks like.
  9. First, I don't believe they said LS would be the largest urban area. I don't think they mentioned anything like that. If you stick to exactly what they said - "the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches", then San Diego is out because San Diego isn't a hill, countryside or beach. If you disagree and think San Diego can be included even though it's not a hill, contryside or beach, then San Fierro and Las Venturas can be included since we're allowed to expand on what they said. Since San Diego can be a hill, countryside or beach, I say SF and LV can be part of southern California. "GTA V is to be set in fictional Los Santos in the state of San Andreas and its surrounding areas, based on modern-day Los Angeles and Southern California.." With that being said, San Diego is south of la, so there is a POSSIBILITY. San Francisco is north of la, so there's no way. and Vegas is in Nevada so you can take you (SF/LV) theory to the trash. And to even consider San Diego being a hill, are you slow? oh, and here's your link (so hard to find) http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/19471/grand-theft-auto-v-official-announcement.html
  10. well actually, san deigo is possible since they sothern california and the fact that they said that los santos would be the largest URBAN area.
  11. ...The maps are on the internet. and the point of the la noire map being mentioned is that it was large and only the los angeles area, doesn't mater if the buildings are not there because all you need it for is comparisons. since similar buildings or landmarks exist in both games, all you would have to do is calculate approximated draw distance (how far away one building is from the other in both games)
  12. i think it would be better to use mcla and lan's maps instead of gta 4's. but only in ters of size and the fact that v's city will be more realistic
  13. March and May first, especially May. And then October at the latest. Seems very plausible.
  14. the website posted this same shit before... they just changed the title. that jack retard needs to get checked, stupid fucker.
  15. I don't know if the gun capacity will be increased and they add a wheel, but a gun locker and illegal delivery would be nice. simply dialing a number and ordering a MP7, Desert Eagle and an AA12 and then storing the current weapons in that slot into a locker. When you want to switch you just press "LB" and you change out the two weapons without paying. There should be at least four weapons for each categories and a locker should hold at least two of each. The fridge should be like mafia 2 and the closet should display all clothes in groups.
  16. That's true, i guess that we can kind of confirm that this jet has had changes since the trailer just like the police mavericks did. We can also confirm that there is a good chance the hydra is gone: I doubt there will be more than one fighter jet.
  17. If he was solely evading the cops, why would he be hanging off the side of a slow moving truck? It seems more logical to get in the fast car and drive away. + the wheels of the truck look fucked, like it's unstable. I was reading about this. The trucks wheels are not aligned or the front axle is bent. The character is more than likely stealing a car for a faster getaway since the truck was previously damaged. the trucks axle could of possibly been bent from the driver trying to shake the character, or even the character doing something to the truck to make it slower to make stealing the car easier and it just so happened that the cops caught on to this action.
  18. it would be impossible to escape the cops with real life new york traffic. the game could use more traffic... maybe they'll make roads wider.
  19. if there is two protagonists, the customization would just be useless. making a character awesome and then not being able to play the character anymore... pure garbage. the only reason that there would be more than one person being repeatedly shown, would either be a high customization level or they are both just highly essential to the story and are not playable.
  20. There will be more streets than san andreas, all of them will be named in the same way gta 4 did with liberty city. Neighborhoods will more than likely comeback. And i honestly don't think that mount chilliad is going to be in the game... the mountain ranges however will most likely border one of the lands(city/wilderness/etc) edges.
  21. i can see gta 5 at least being 1/4 bigger than San Andreas was. definitely bigger than GTA 4's map.
