  1. Done, sent him a friend request and will crew him up too.

  5. TUE AUGUST 9 - 6PM (EST) 11PM (GMT) --- Join us this Tuesday for iGTA Crew Night! #shenanigans, user created jobs, photo ops, streaming, etc... Stay as long as you like, but please share your experience here with us for all to enjoy! Pics, videos, stories... Crew Nights are always told from multiple viewpoints, so please tell us your side of the story! --- Theme: Stunt Night...with the release of the Stunt Race Creator last Tuesday, everyone's been busy building stunt races...it's time to test them out and show them off! Did you know: R* posted a PDF guide here. It sounds like the creator has its issues (no surprise) but you all are used to working around and within the game's limits. Still, it takes time learn how the new props interact, so feel free share your best building tips in the DLC topic. --- Emblem: Emblems aren't really essential for a stunt theme night, since many of the vehicles and outfits have liveries and aren't compatible...for the lulz, I've switched up the colour. EDIT: i made an emblem anyways ... --- Add'l Thoughts: Post links to your new stunt jobs below! I'll bookmark them as they come in, as will the other usual suspects. Wear your choice out of the new outfits, there are free racing suits and a huge variety of racing jackets, don't forget we're motocrossing next week. Do we want to do a short playlist of deathmatches to add some variety?...and has anyone built a StuntAround Island yet? --- Guidelines: * Join the iGTA community here, or befriend one of us to join the Crew. (via Social Club, PSN, Twitter, Instagram, IRL, etc.) * Add some of us on the Playstation Network to get invited. (PSN Names are underneath our Avatars) * You can join whenever, but the earlier the better. Ask for an invite if you want in. (We'll try to start the night out in a crew lobby to make things easier) * If there's an "EVENT THEME", please dress appropriately. (If you don't, stay away from crew activities and play alone) * NO CREW KILLING, unless #shenanigans happen or agreed upon. (This rule will now be further enforced due to recent engagements) * NO DIRTY RACING! Also, listen to us if there's specific rules for a job. (A number of our jobs have specific rules, try to pay attention) * NO BULLET-PROOF HELMETS during competitive play. It ruins the balance of the matches. (Not been an issue yet, don't make it one) * NO CONSUMING OF SNACKS during competitive play. Be a man and die with honor. (Not been an issue yet, don't make it one) * No going off-radar in competitive matches. (Not been an issue yet, don't make it one) * Don't ruin someone's Photo or Video if they're trying to set something up. 6. omg Nemo, such great shots! I didn't have clip space either but I took a few screenshots, will do some image shuffling this weekend.
  7. My man and I watched all of season one when it first aired, and kinda stopped midway through season two. It's a solid show, I'd like to get back into it. Part of our reason for trailing off is the evolution of how we watch content, he's still firmly in the mindset of mostly watching live TV and a lot of PVRing, whereas I've just about had it with commercials and basically refuse to watch cable anymore, I even resent having to FF through adverts on the shows we PVR. A lot of shows are available through our cable box's on demand section, so we've started working our way through certain shows, but mostly half hour comedies. Eventually we'll start watching 'hour-long' shows via on demand as well. My so-called Sony Smart TV is actually pretty stupid, you can't update the platform or apps for it , so I'm thinking of getting a streaming stick to open more viewing options. All that to say - I think it's a great show, they obviously have put a lot of work into sets and costumes and historical accuracy, the cast is great, and I do want to get back into it and see where the characters are now.
  8. Photo was taken at time of delivery, probably three months ago, but it hasn't been touched since. Now, the lawn is green and there are flowers everywhere, the woodpile has dried out a bit more, and there are chipmunks living in it.
  9. I am making pickles. Canning is hot work, it's hot as balls in here.
  10. Standing offer - anyone want to help me stack 3 cord of wood? I will pay you in homemade food and put you up in the guest room for the weekend.
  11. Weev got a head start last night. I don't like it.
  12. TUE AUGUST 2 - 6PM (EST) 11PM (GMT) --- Join us this Tuesday for iGTA Crew Night! #shenanigans, user created jobs, photo ops, streaming, etc... Stay as long as you like, but please share your experience here with us for all to enjoy! Pics, videos, stories... Crew Nights are always told from multiple viewpoints, so please tell us your side of the story! --- Theme: No Theme... we've been hitting themes hard lately, so it's time to take a break and engage in free roam shenanigans instead. New vehicles and wardrobe have been plentiful lately, show off your new toys! Wear what you like, drive what you like, we'll see what the evening brings. If anyone has a new job or classic playlist, post a link below...Do you have an old favourite we haven't played in a while, or a match we tried only once and you want to play again? Does someone's job need repairs before replay? Suggestions are welcome! The Stunt Race Creator releases on August 2, same day as crew night...remember that the following week will officially be iGTA Stunt Night, to give our talented builders time to make new tracks with new props and creator parameters. Knowing you guys, if someone gets a head start in the creator and wants to test a job with the crew that night, let us know. --- Emblem: What better way to use R*'s emblem issues to our advantage? We'll keep using versions of this one until they fix the white square bg. ICYMI Fitty made inverse variations with black, white and crew blue, because he's awesome. --- Add'l Thoughts: The Dup-ster made some excellent theme suggestions. I've updated the running tab at the bottom, have a look...turns out Wrestling/Fight Night was already on the list. There are two open weeks in August, what tickles your collective fancies? I love the Vehicle Brand Expo dealer showcase idea, the new gear will make this easy to pull off visually, sponsored race team photos would look cool too. --- Acknowledgements: Thank you for everything, bOnEs. Welcome aboard, brother DiO. Thanks for your help too, Dup. --- Guidelines: * Join the iGTA community here, or befriend one of us to join the Crew. Fallout

I downloaded the Vault-Tech workshop last night, with the intention of quickly checking out the new stuff before bedtime...Turns out the Vault 88 area is crawling with raiders, but I didn't really come prepared so Macready and I got merked. My gal is still in Fah Hahbah vacation mode, skipping around in pretty-but-low-level Children of Atom armour, she needs to get back into the Commonwealth headspace and return with guns blazing. Also, this. I remember the hospital but might've missed the parking garage. I bet Macready will look hawt in pink.
  14. Yeah, I was thinking of posting new topics on Fridays too, in the evenings after suppertime, but if you get to it before me I really won't mind.
  15. Here it is: I actually get the picking up and brushing off part of your post, Kuz, and thought almost all of it was lovely, but saying "ive never seen you as the boss/authority/etc" and referring to him as mere "topic creator and most active Twittererer..." struck me as disrespectful and condescending, a belittling way of depicting what bOnEs has been doing for our group for the last few years. So I stuck up my for my good friend Adam. The friendships and connections we build here are real, I don't care if I may never meet most of you irl. In this, there is a lovely echo of how Mercy always loyally chimes in if she feels I've been too hard on you. Nonetheless. You are 100%. I made assumptions, and I salute you (both) for calling me out on it. It made me stop and consider the own hells I've been surviving in the last few years...which reminded me of the saying, Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. I was unkind, and for this I sincerely beg your pardon.
  16. It's not rocket science, but it is a time commitment (banners and emblems too), and your dedication is appreciated and hasn't been taken for granted. We've met pretty much every single week for the last four years!...that's a big deal. bOnEs works two regular jobs plus freelancing on the side to pay the bills on a house and car, and hasn't missed a crew night since what, his brother's graduation? Whereas Kuz's mom still makes his supper and does his laundry, and he only shows up once a month, if that. So, suck it, Kuz, don't kick a guy in the nuts when he's down. bOnEsy, you've faithfully served as crew night wrangler on the forums for a really long time, I'll take over topics and we'll take it from there. Take a couple of weeks or all of August off from crew nights and just take a mental break, it would do you good. It takes strength and honesty to communicate what you need, well done. You take care of you. Come back when you're ready. There are more than enough of us to spread the work around. I mean, when DiO announced he was not doing playlists for a while there, we made it work, right? The wheels won't fall off the bus because someone else is making the topic. We'll be fine. I'm a forum mod in name, but the reality is the site's current traffic is pretty low for that to be a big job anymore. The game is several years old, so we don't have twenty n00bs an hour posting shit in the map topic or spamming the videos thread. We still deal with issues you guys don't see, but it's not like it was a few years ago. It'll pick up again when a new game is announced or once Psy and the other red admins get to the next level with his website plans. DiO, do you want access? We can ask Fitty to grant you permissions for the crew events section, you're already a mod on the FML portion of the site, so that shouldn't be an issue. Then you could cover for me if I'm going to be unavailable. I'm prepared to take the lead on it, but we could alternate weeks or whatever. I'm pretty easy-going, tell me what works for you.
  17. Speak for yourself, bOnEs, I'm not bored of the game, and I'm busy too, but not so burnt out that I can't play GTA once a week and have some laughs. IMHO, you spend an excessive amount of time on crew nights complaining about what we don't have, instead of just having fun with what we do have, and it's frankly exhausting to listen to a steady stream of negative, critical comments. There's nothing wrong with venting or expressing disappointment, but it's a different story when negativity overshadows everything else for hours on end. (Fanboy, that one's for you too. All sour all the time. Yeesh...) You seem to spend a lot of time complaining to us about non-crew people from Twitter (not the awesome ones we've recruited to iGTA), and you're the one saying weekly you're burnt out and don't want to play, I don't hear anyone else saying it. I think you're too caught up in social media stuff and it's affected your perspective, so maybe a break would do you good, and there's nothing wrong with taking a step back. I still look forward to seeing you guys on crew night. It shouldn't feel like a chore. Our usual routine of gathering, some car lineup/fuckaround, playlist one, intermission, playlist two seems to work most of the time. That said, if R* releases five brand new races on a crew night, I refuse to feel bad for wanting to play them...that's a normal thing for a fan to want to do! We fucked around in freeroam, did one playlist, argued about it then tried the new stunt races, spent too long in freeroam again, then launched the fuckaround job, then it got late, that's why things had fizzled by the second theme playlist. We can all step up, not a problem. You've been doing an awesome job of listing themes a month in advance so we can plan ahead. Crew nights work well when we know themes in advance enough for people to build new jobs and get playlists put together. There's a few of us that are comfortable throwing together playlists on the spot if needed, and our creators always seem to make new playgrounds for us, and push the game's boundaries, that's what's kept it interesting for me...seeing what new crazy-ass job arena, racetrack or photoshoot set location you guys will build next. The DLC stunting creator tools mean we'll have new toys to play with soon. Even if things aren't perfect or what you expected from new content, we can and will still "have a nice time", and it would be great if you were with us along the way when you feel ready, you're a key part of this team. I've helped you with crew night topics before, and can do it again, starting now. You aren't alone and never have been, okay, bearded scooter brother buddy of mine? #iGTAfamily4lyfe
  18. Isn't there a T-shirt with a medal on the front? It's for some achievement, I can't remember what for though.
  19. I'll be there, spreading Zika and Russian performance enhancing drugs to one and all!
  20. Me too, you have some awesome ones there, Dup. Starting with iFruit phone snaps: That moment when North went batty on his bmx FUCK YOU, HOLE IN THE WALL And now, the curated Editor shots. I didn't take a lot of clips but have been having fun with lighting and shadows. bmx nearly touched the base of the overpass What goes up must come down The AFK brothers Trickster The bigger the air, the bigger the bruise Weev grind I'm...too classy for this shit And this, to end.
  21. This one's for Ginginho: Margaret Atwood at Comic Con.
  22. So I finished every single Outlander book for the second time; time to move out of that time period for a while, it's been a blast. I looked for that^ Atwood book at the library but it was signed out, so I ended up with Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, and Neal Stephenson's Anathem. I'm well into the Strange/Norrell story so far, really had to change gears from Gabaldon's flowing prose into Clarke's Ye Olde Englishe style of writing (and the somewhat distracting and at times lengthy footnotes), but it helps create the proper atmosphere for that world, enjoying the story very much so far.
  23. Love your stuff, Nemo. You make it look so fun.
  24. Last week was an exception for me since I was on vacation, and I was pretty up front about posting less these days because it's summer and our winters are long, so I'm spending more time doing outdoor & kitchen things and less time in front of the screen. I think it's the right approach to continue to gently encourage everyone that's a regular on crew night to post even just a handful of pics each. If we start beating people over the head with a stick (or ourselves) about it, it stops being fun, and you know how I feel about that!
  25. I've definitely slowed down on posting pics, compared to the past, but enough people post snaps and videos to capture the feel of the night. (Casey was great for that and we haven't seen much of her lately.) Maybe I'm just too much of a perfectionist when I'm in the Editor, so it takes me a long time compared to others, but I find current system overwhelming compared to old-gen's in-game-phone snaps. You're in GTAO, then have to switch to SP to enter the Editor, then back out to clear room in your gallery, then go back into the Editor, stage each shot, then back to the gallery to upload pics to the SC, then dump them into Photobucket or save to the computer or copy to the forums etc. I haven't yet adopted the whole PSN capture and dump to a USB drive system yet, the image quality is definitely tits, but it's not necessarily less onerous to do, plus you have to keep turning off the HUD. I took some clips from this crew night and even took a few old skool snaps, but as usual forgot to upload EVERY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL IMAGE to the SC before turning off my game, and haven't had the console on since. Don't worry, I will look at my clips this weekend, I know there are a few shots I want to share. Either way, it has to be something I do for the love of the crew and as a creative arm of my photography hobby, not because I feel pressured to crank out material. I ain't a YouTube celebutard.
