As in Monday the 26th, Boxing day? I can't guarantee my availability, I have family visiting from out of town and will be busy with them. If I can, I'll join later in the evening. For the record, I like Mondays for crew night in general, it's just touch and go during the hols.

I asked him what the bear jerky had been flavoured with, and he said, "Salt." I don't know what that bear had been eating, but clearly it wasn't foraging in the nearest dump. The flavour was incredible. Never had snake or roo. Have had moose, deer, lamb. I tried rabbit once, made expertly by an Italian friend, but I didn't like it much. An odd flavour and not the most pleasant texture.

A buddy of mine at work is a hunter, he gave me a taste of some bear jerky that a friend of his made. It was amazing.

I'll post one topic to use for the holidays, then - we'll stick to new Import/Export DLC content and holiday outfits and snow if R* does it again this year. I don't see how we can rep crew blue and Christmas at the same time, so let's just keep it xmas for the next two weeks and save crew blue and lowriders for the new year.

Nada. And, as usual, you have to be in a public lobby to play the Import/Export steal cars missions. I do wish we had the option to play in a lobby on our own terms - 'public' but with friends only, no randoms dropping in, or toggle cops on or off, that sort of thing.

It's better. You won't regret it. It's messy and complicated and riveting and ruthless. My first time through the books, I had to keep referring to the character breakdown at the back of the book to keep everyone straight. Found Margaret Atwood's The Heart Goes Last at the library. score! I'm also working my way through Neal Stephenson now, finished Snow Crash and just started Reamde, so far it's great. I also have discovered a rather humorous Canuck author, Terry Fallis, he's been a delight to read. No Relation is a hilarious tale of a guy who starts a support group for ordinary people that just happen to have the same name as famous people - actors, writers, athletes - after his life completely implodes. The Best Laid Plans made me chuckle, although perhaps only political junkies that are familiar with Ottawa (both the city and as the legislative capital of Canada) might like this book...I liked it, anyway.

I did save a few clips...I didn't even play between crew nights, but will try to make some time for the editor. Got some decent clips, but still sad I ended a running clip just before the unplanned, completely spontaneous 1-2-3-4-5 person dive from the moving train as it crossed over the bridge.
