Well it is being made by Rockstar, not Team Bondi. And Rockstar rarely disappoints.
  2. Yeah as I said, if it was more realistic the characters wouldn't lean when they walk etc... And it would also obviously be more realistic than if they downgrade the realism of the walking to make it easier.
  3. So basically regenerating health. There was an interview with Jeronimo Barrera (I believe with him) a month or two ago about Max Payne 3 saying the problem with regenerating health is people sit behind cover too much instead of getting through the mission. True, and I'm also not 100% convinced about the whole regeneration system, there's games where it works and games where it doesn't, but there's got to be a middle way. I'm not so much talking about missions as I am about fooling around in the world. Longer missions could have a single well placed checkpoint and problem solved... (most of GTA's missions aren't really super difficult anyway, so far...) But when free roaming, it would be a welcomed addition. The more I think about it, the harder it seems to find the perfect solution... Yeah I hate running across a busy highway for fun as you do and getting hit by a car and surviving, with only enough health to be knocked out by tripping on a curb.
  4. I like seeing your character shoot in third person, why is everyone obsessed with first person shooting these days? It's like people want all games, but want them to be like CoD... I hate first person games, if i can i refuse to play them. I have played cod a few times and it kinda works for that game but many others you need to be able to see your character. Yeah if GTA was first person when I first played I probably wouldn't have bought it. Imagine how shitty VC or SA would have been in first person...
  5. Completely true, but what about after you finish the game? Or you just want to fool around? I love walking around town and beating people up, to me it's more fun than just shooting them dead in one second. If the game wasn't sandbox there would be no need for melee, but since it is it adds a lot of fun and replay value. At least in my opinion. Exactly, what me and my friend liked doing online was getting the cops called over then attempting to take them down with just our knives. It just really adds to the replay value. And who doesn't like getting in a good fistfight after that car accident with a cabby. I thought I was the only one! But what I prefer doing is punching a taxi and then running into some cops, and letting the driver hit the cops instead of me and watch him get arrested. Good times...
  6. Yeah a drill would be awesome. Nailguns and tazers were gonna be included in VC, but didn't make it in the final version. If those returned, it would be awesome. Cops could carry batons and tazers, and I would just run around shooting nails at people. Life would be great.

  9. First time in a while. I still play the game ALOT Really? I don't particularly like the multiplayer and I got 100% completion with ease so for me there is no point, except throwin' tomahawks and throwing a lasso around a dog pretending it's my pet.
  10. Anyway on the topic of GTA, I would like to see more weapons, particularly melee weapons with different kill styles. Like the kantana, ax, pool cue, dildo, hammer, sledge hammer, meat cleaver, golf club, machete and of course, the chainsaw. Most of these were in VC or SA, don't know why they took them out in IV. Maybe because the RAGE engine couldn't handle it? I don't know. But I prefer melee combat to ranged combat when having fun and fooling around most of the time in GTA, and in IV it kind of sucked only having a baseball bat and a knife.
  11. Bad idea, I love runnig around full speed smacking people with baseball bats. It's more fun to beat people up and see the physics than shoot them (at least in IV)
  12. yeah, also depending on the personality. Like if they don't give a shit, they come in, and if they are obsessed with cleanliness they turn it down. I think you should be able to have friends over to your houses, just to chill drink and smoke, maybe play pool or whatever you have in your house. That's more fun than riding around picking them up and going fucking bowling...
  13. Same here, but I don't really care about the furniture, unless you can invite people over and it affects their opinion on you.
  14. Monster truck, harvester, Jet-pack, foklift, golf cart, dodge challenger, 64 impala... These are some vehicles I want to see, they aren't all cars as the title specifies, but still.
  15. It seems as if barely anyone has played RDR which also runs on the RAGE engine, a lot of the things I've seen mentioned (more realistic gore), trees etc... Were all improved in RDR, so it's pretty obvious those things will be used again.
  16. Yeah I want some good metal, old hip hop, conspiracy talk show and of course, Lazlow radio stations.
  17. Yeah, RDR also uses the RAGE engine so I think that V will use the same version, or even a better one with more detail!
  18. If it wasn't for Sweet, CJ wouldn't even be in San Andreas. But yeah, he was an asshole. The hood is all he knows so he tries to hang on to it, and probably can't accept CJ is moving away from it to bigger and better things.
  19. Biggest map ever? Damn that sucks, that means GTA VI and XVIII will all have smaller maps... I think he got it from this, but exaggerated. http://www.igta5.com/dan-houser-gta-5-map-will-be-very-big
  20. I wouldn't mind a Prison outfit, but I wouldn't want to be locked in jail for murdering a pedestrian, and stay there for like 1500 game days.
  21. If TV's are in the game, I hope to see them in random stores around town broadcasting the news as it's actually happening, like if it's raining there is a weather report about rain... Just to make the game seem more dynamic and not focused only on you. Also, if there is a TV I would like to see easter eggs in it, such as references to the old San Andreas, VC or LC...
  22. Yeah I agree, the combat in IV wasn't so smooth. e.g. If I was trying to beat someones ass and I kicked them to the floor, there was usually an invisible barrier stopping my kick above them so I have to shift over to be able to kick them. Same with all melee, it wasn't great TBH. But I liked the counters that they had, and ability to disarm. shame it was only for 2 weapons... Stealth kills were in SA, so I hope they will also be in V. I also hope there are more melee weapons than just a bat and a knife, like chainsaws, golf clubs, pool cues, axes, sledgehammers etc... And I also hope you can pick up random shit off the ground, throw it and see actual damage. In IV it seemed as if an empty plastic cup did the same amount of damage as a brick against a car's windows.
  23. From all your posts and especially this one I can pretty much tell you're too young to play this game, but I will disregard it. So many other people would also ruin GTA, and you seriously think Rockstar will put Justin Bieber on the radio? Basically all mainstream rappers would ruin the radio, but that will probably be included to make it more realistic.
  24. Exactly, I found it amusing walking in circles practically leaning inwards in IV. I think it should be MORE realistic, a real human can turn almost instantly, and don't lean when they turn.
