damn, that sucks... if it weren't for rental stores, i would of wasted a lot more money playing video games... hell, $7 for 5 nights is a steal for uncharted when you consider the price of a movie ticket... instead of $10 for 2 hours of a mildly amusing movie that you will forget about, you can get 12 hours of blockbuster entertainment you can actually be a part of!! rentals FTW!!

hey massacre, you can spoil the world all you want... caves (unless it's with the story), loot, enemies, towns, guilds, etc... just be extra careful with the story of the main quest, side quests and guilds... i don't mind hearing about the world of skyrim, i just don't want the story to be ruined... i will get the chance to play it in about a month... are the giants you all speak of from the tech demo??

i grew up here in south haven, michigan... then i moved to saint joseph, michigan, 40 miles south... one lakeside town to another... funny, i don't really go to the beach either... this is the best picture i can find that truly represents the area of the world i live in...

i wanted to chronicle my adventures in fallout... but decided against it... i officially made the christmas request... if i don't get this, then i will buy it after christmas...

can't rent it?? i did for 5 nights for $7... it's beatable really in two nights...

they all are great... and i mentioned this to psy on facebook, but the character development throughout the series really makes this series so engaging to play... you know and care for these characters, and want to continue on to see what else happens... time flies by when you play uncharted... the action/puzzle/story modes blend so well together that it's hard to put the controller down when it unfolds...

he looks latino to me, mang... and he seems to be at least one of the main characters... still not sold on the guy in the blue car being playable, nor is it vercetti... this guy is perhaps just a gang-banger from east los santos, searching for fame and fortune... that sounds like a fun story to me, with a GTA san an feel... and it fits the modern day of LA... blacks were the 90's, latino's have been this decade...

i guess all i needed was a day for the game to cool off... i, of course had to re-start the chapter but it work flawlessly from there, until the very very end where the final cutscene's audio cut-out on me once again ... thankfully i was able to re-watch it on youtube thanks to IGN... outside of that shit, i thought it was the best game in the series... the gunplay was more refined, and felt fluid, especially in and out of cover.. the CQC was refreshing, and bailed me out of a heated gunfight more times than i anticipated... and the dynamics of the levels were off the charts!! i don't want to really spoil all of that, but the levels in the 2nd half of the game had some truly amazing environments... definitely the best in the series, unfortunately i won't be checking out the multiplayer... i forgot that you have to buy the game in order to access the multiplayer... i am not paying $$$ for one night of online play... but the single player never disappoints, and is well worth the price of admission... GOTY right here... seriously... i am sure my audio difficulties are more of my personal situation, so i can't really downgrade it for that... no one else mentions audio difficulties, so i am taking this as a strange occurrence... hopefully SR3 runs fine next week, or i might have a more serious situation going on with my system...

you don't spend half the game tripping, you spend maybe almost a chapter total tripping, so far... although, there were those "pirate" chapters where i felt like i was tripping ....

...and once that happened, the background music stopped like it did earlier, and drake and tolbert never initiated conversation, leaving me in an endless loop of running around waiting for the game to transition... i don't think it's the system, i fired up some GTAIV deal breaker right afterwards (to unleash some aggression) with a close friend with no issues... i do think my fat PS3 is putting along, but i can still play other stuff... so it's not dying just yet i don't think... the game just has an issue entering that sequence and not allowing me to leave it... i will make another attempt tomorrow to try and finish it up, like i am sure you've already done by now... it's been a fun ride, and the levels have never been more dynamic in their approach... and the story has been great too... i really don't want this issue to ruin this amazing gaming experience...

wow, if the drug-induced stages would stop the, "glitching out with the audio and not initiate the next sequence of events because it's waiting for the audio cue", i would say this is the greatest gaming experience of all-time!! but the fact that i have to restart chapters because of this, and hope to god the audio syncs up this time, brings this game to a crashing halt... and i am literally a room or two away from the final chapter... i dread having to play this chapter over again... uncharted always delivers the best gaming experience of the year, but i have never had this problem with uncharted ever before... could it be that one of the best companies in the industry is getting sloppy too?? are we too used to patches and fixes after release?? i spent 6 tries with numerous approaches to fix the problem in chapter 11... got past it, but i am on my 4th try with chapter 21 ... and in 3 of those tries, the game itself flat-out wouldn't load, i watched that ring spin a million times... i am about to throw this game into the streets if i can't get it to work, then tell the rental store it fell out of the case on my way in... thumbs down naughty dog, this is unacceptable... EDIT: WTF?!?! is my system dying?!?! why won't it load anymore!?!? i can't even reach the main menu of the game!!!! EDIT2: fuck, i turned on some GTA for a bit to cool off.. i don't know what to do ATM...

i would love to see random dynamic things in GTA... maybe a traffic back up because of an accident, a high speed car chase, a random crazy man firing off his gun in front of a store, or a guy threatening to jump off a building while the fire eept. talks him out of it... could be cool...

i will be busy with uncharted 3 this week... rented it yesterday... it's the one game that makes me happy to own a PS3... i just got hit with some sort of hallucinigenic dart and i am tripping balls in a city somewhere in syria... i love uncharted ...

isn't revelations coming out soon?? i might wait until next year to play it though... the ending of brotherhood pissed me off, but i still want to see it's conclusion to the end...

i too think the character is going to be latin, or mexican... i am beginning to think "young guy" from the trailer is you... so there very well could be a huge gang influence on the story and city...

i NEVER drove cars from my safehouses to missions because i didnt want to loose them... it's been common knowledge since GTA3... chances are, you're going to drive someone elses car... the only time i ever bring my own ride is if i had already played that mission and knew i could use my own ride... i don't think that will change, however, i do like the dea of being able to park your car anywhere on the property... but i see some issues with that... what if you parked your car in the pool? will it forever stay in the pool, nulling one slot for vehicle storage? crash land upside down on your property and that car stays like that?? get it stuck trying to park it on the roof with a nicely placed staircase that looked like a ramp?? yea, that could cause some problems...

whatever , maybe me and dup will play at some point... otherwise i might not actually play any online... you guys will probably be busy with skyrim anyways... i think i might ask for it for christmas, my grandma keeps bugging my parents about that shit already... for fucks sake, we only just passed halloween... i pre-ordered SR3 last week though with amazon, so i can't wait... time between now and skyrim will consist of SR3, new vegas, sam & max, and rentals of AC:R and uncharted 3... and i am looking forward to playing them all, but i really want to sink my teeth into SR3... fallout continues to be the only game i care about at the moment, i would like to have something else to play and chat about for a change... plus seriously, if skyrim is that good, it would be nice to get all those games i mentioned out of the way before i forget about them...

yup, tried to rent this tuesday afternoon but it wasn't there... i am looking forward to it though, i just don't think it's worth buying... games these days are not worth buying for me unless i know i will put at least 50 hours into it... this game looks to be a 15 hour affair... i can't wait to play it though!! it looks even more epic than 2 did... and i really want to see how the story unfolds, especially between sully and nate...

yea, there's even more references to possibly san fierro as well... the only thing i picked up from the entire 12 minutes of watching the IGN breakdown was them talking about the wind mills, which are located in between san francisco and los angelas... it would explain the other side of the mountain as i do wonder if we're trapped on an island again, or the mountain doesn't have another side... for the love of god, i heard them say tommy vercetti a hundred times... either they are in on it and know, or they're going to look like a bunch of fools when it is not... i heard one of them practically confirm that he's convinced 100% it's tommy...
