yea, i've only found 3 clothing shops, and yea, they did remove a lot of clothing customizations, including being able to put logos on stuff... jewelry usually sat outside the shirt, but in SR3, the only way you see it is if you're shirtless... the driving to me got much better, i no longer get stuck on park benches or light posts... driving isn't a chore anymore... plus, i don't remember bikes in SR2, or i just hated using them... they're fun in SR3, and the car customizing is stellar... i am still in the infant stages of the story, i haven't even been introduced to any other gang than the syndicate... yes, i own most of the center island, and about 6 fully customized cars, a few player upgrades and weapon upgrades... i've done a lot for not being very far into the game...

i loved the world of far cry 2, it was fun to drive around and burn shit... the whole "never leave 1st person" made me really immersed into the role... i loved pulling bullets and shrapnel from my limbs once i took too much damage... i loved driving up to a guard post and pulverizing all the unsuspecting guards... i loved burning down an entire location for the fuck of it... i loved a lot about the game, including the malaria... it always seemed to pop up at the most inconvenient time... the world was fun.... sadly, i didn't care at all about the war or the story taking place... but i knew i wouldn't when i rented it ... for a FPS sandbox, it had lasting value for me... perhaps far cry 3 can take a leap above it's predecessor... it's ubisoft's baby now, they're pretty good at drastically improving the 2nd game in a series... yes, this would technically be the 3rd game, but it's ubisoft's 2nd one in the series (crytek made the 1st), and they tend to listen to feedback...

some do get bad ones... i hate the argument that tats look bad when you get old though... when i get old, i couldn't care less about what the tattoos look like... i am old, i won't care about a lot of things at that point in life ...

why would i ruin the taste of a perfectly good bud of sour diesel with nasty ass tobacco?? i can't even stand the smell of it anymore... and i don't do blunts much anymore... just bowls, bongs and joints... speaking of tattoo's, someone i used to know got a tattoo of someone hitting a gas mask bong... lol, what an idiot...

i got 3, and i am scrawny... i like em, they're not big tattoos, but i hope to get more someday... they're getting to be too pricey, and i got more important things to spend my money on... like the house, utility bills, food, insurance, my scooter, *cough* weed...

i know it's not about actual puppies, but it ran thru my when you said that... as for the next round of systems; nintendo is about to find out if it can roll out a new system in such a short time span... it might sell well, but it will be lucky if it pulls even half the wii's numbers at launch in '06... no one is ready for a new generation, the current one is hitting it's prime as we speak... there's plenty of good years left, but the wii just wassn't surviving the generation too well, it looks old compared to what the playstation and xbox can deliver... they had to change, but their changes aren't all that much either... sony and microsoft have plenty of life left in both systems... perhaps another 5 years each... we shouldn't start hearing anything about this for another couple of years... but if the rumor is true and there's going to be a new system in the next couple of years, then i will have to do what i did with the playstation 3 and wait it out for a couple of years... i waited to buy my PS3 until a month before GTAIV released... and god of war literally made it's debut at the end of the PS2 era... i am quite comfortable riding out the storm to the end of it's cycle... and i know sony knows their fans will too... the PS2 is still selling...

lol, i am still at the beginning... i take it you wanted to rush through it to get back to skyrim?? ... hopefully i can get an uninterupted evening to play through some of this...

i was confused about pierce... i thought he died in saints row 2, getting brutally murdered by the brotherhood...

i played thru about 12 casual hours of far cry 2 a couple weeks ago and loved it... along with naughty bear and crysis 2, these are games i want to buy when i find them in the bargain bin... i would be even more excited about far cry 3 if i actually finished 2 and/or played the first one... i look forward to 3 now that i've dabbled in the 2nd one... it's a fun open-world to dick around in...

fuck!! i will give my SR2 copy to my good friend if this is the case... i would love to play co-op SR, even if it's the previous game... i have fond memories of my online experience in saints row 2... speaking of SR3 though, i didn't play today... had i rented this i would be pissed, but i had more fun trying to learn how to play fifa 12 with a few friends, smoking pot, drinking and downright having a great time, than i would of sitting at home by myself doing the same... saints row 3 can wait for tomorrow, it's always there when i need it...

i didn't read this topic, but i could sum up my school memories with a few quick thoughts... school sucked, i was barely there, i got in more trouble while i was there, and spent most of my high school days doing drugs... i still smoke pot and have the occasional mushroom journey, but i still can't figure out how i graduated, or how i have had a decent living since then... i wish i would of spent more time paying attention in the classes i hated - history and science - because i fucking love those subjects now, yet i spent my time slacking off or sleeping in class... i work hard for a living now, but i cold barely apply myself in school... i was in band for 3 years in high school, swimming for 2 years, golfing one year, and 4 years on the varsity smoke team... i wouldn't trade it for the world... good times... fuzzy times, but they were fun times...

i set off an alarm in a store by accident so i say, yes... there's also a pickpocket perk where you steal a little money from everyone you bump into... there's a lot of stuff to spend your money on this time around...

amazon... they emailed me a code for $10 off a purchase... but nothing about a game code... perhaps that comes in a day or two... who cares either way, it's not like i couldn't steal a friends human launcher car and store it in my garage in co-op *cough cough*... i was more interested in the gift card anyways... pre-order stuff is usually pointless... i haven't played since my last post, been customizing my radio station while hanging out online for a bit... this drink and bowl needs to be dealt with, and for the most part, i forgot about it while playing SR3 ... that's a compliment since i am habitually reaching for those...

i have done that a few times... is it just me, or are the drivers in steelport fucking INSANE!! they're always turning around in the middle of the road... WTF man, i got knocked off a bridge cause someone backed into me trying to turn around... other than that, i've played a round of insurance fraud, professor genki's game (is this the pre-ordered stuff?? cause i never got a code for that, just online access), a couple missions, and one of those cellphone calls... although, i think that was a challenge and i pussied out by getting away from the scene... i've also ran into invisible walls in the ocean, telling me, "the saints need you in steelport" and flipping me around... come on, there was a giant easter bunny to resurrect in the ocean in saints row 2, and a hidden island... i want to see more of that shit in 3... but i do love the radio stations... i am listening to my favorite band right now, "the black keys" on 89GEN...

that's not seriously trademarked, is it?! ... i haven't noticed that doing much yet besides running and jumping thru a car window...

...and so it began... i made it through that vault scene, and then did the whole "falling in the sky" mission next, then did the "rob an army" mission... 3 straight over the top missions right off the bat ... ever since then, i have been driving around customizing me and my ride, opening up all the store locations and side missions... not doing any of them just yet, only looking for them... controls are all wacky, which with any new game, it takes time to get used to... i keep throwing fucking grenades in stores... also when trying to get in a car, which is kind of a badass move... i gotta find a way to work that into the game somewhere ...

i cant multitask with video games... i wouldnt be able to play SR3 if i were playing skyrim... i would lose interest in both stories... anywho, in about 3 hours i too will be standing on a bank vault ...

same with fallout... i like games that allow you to save whenever, wherever... it lets you experiment and try a couple if things without fear of messing up your game... @stoic - sorry, i chose to play saints row first because of past experience... my past experience with oblivion told me i could hold off on skyrim... plus i cant play two games at once... patience, horny grasshopper... patience...

wow, so glad i rented it then... sounds like the replayability is not there this time around... sure, the game is actually fun and worth playing again, but they removed half the fun when you beat the game.. remember fat drake?! even his voice made him sound fat... i played lots of chapters as fat drake...

dear god help us... soooo... am i the only one here getting excited about playing this today?? amazon says it's in transit to my house, can't wait to get home and see what steelport has to offer ...

i have to wait tell christmas, my grandma already bought it (... everything sounds amazing though, nice write-up there stoic...

at least it's got more length than a shitty FPS... 12 hours is a decent chunk, but 4 hours for a call of duty title is a downright ripoff... @psy - that sucks... i didn't even notice that... i thought it was awesome to be able to spawn a weapon of your choice in any chapter... it made some of the levels super fun to play, especially if you have unlimited ammo and the hammer ...

it's all about protecting the world, and i bet all of these people hold the secret... they are all assassins... but, technically the game world is suppose to end in 2012, so the next game would be the end of the series??? dunno how they'd handle that one... but thankfully we only have to wait another year to find out since it's an annual thing nowadays... for now it's all about the epic finish to ezio auditore de firenze , who does sound a lot like scarface...

muskets were the most inaccurate pieces of shit in weapon history... the straight-shot from the assassin's creed era is much more accurate... i actually think an american revolution version would be no more of a worse idea than 12th century japan... like you said vice, that part of american history is loaded with crusader lore... it's an idea, but your idea is good too... i actually want to go back to the middle east, cleopatra days... i think that's even before altair's time... remember in assassin's creed 2, that assassin's chamber in ezio's palace?? those very well could be the future of the series... i always think back to that room when i think about where this series could go... this thing;
