  1. infamous was lots of fun... and 2 made better use of the fun, plus it had boss battles, something the first one severely lacked outside the final battle... of course it felt the same as the first, it was a winning formula... what series ever really deviates from their own formula, unless they're looking to re-invent the series from the ground up... gears of war is no different... also, heavy rain was an emotional rollercoaster... i 100%'d that game and saw all the endings... it was impressive to see your actions have consequences... get in a fight, and your character shows cuts or physical abuse in later levels... the poor protagonist went through a lot too, and to watch the character progression for all 4 playable characters is truly one of the best gaming experiences out there... alan wake, metro 2033 and fable are pretty much the only things interesting to me on xbox... the playstation lineup has given me so much... games like uncharted, infamous, and little big planet... and future games like beyond and last of us... the exclusives are what sell a system, even if 75% of the games i play are multiplat...
  2. ^^that too... king george the tyrant ... http://pc.gamespy.co.../1226278p1.html it was announced yesterday as a 3-episodic DLC package... sounds really cool, but i am now forced to wonder if it's cheaper to buy the season pass thing and get the 5 DLCs discounted, or just buy the 3 single player episodes??
  3. oh man oh man oh man, if that didn't get you excited about AC3, then why the hell are you reading this topic??
  4. yea, when i heard the title of that show, i immediately thought of ezio's AC world... it would be cool to watch a show based in the renaissance era... but if they aren't killed by a mysterious assassin throughout, i would be pretty upset... it's a show on my short-list of things to watch if i ever get nexflix back again...
  5. i got a scar like that from eating pineapple...
  6. bought -> THIS VERSION <- for something like $10-$15 on a blu-ray sale on amazon... i was just now shocked to see what it goes for these days... i feel like i should of never opened it, but the blu-ray version is so much better... the world comes to life in HD... no more dark corners or scenes at night being lost in the darkness... no more blurry scenes or extremely loud BG music blasting over the dialog... all was brought back to life... i was waiting YEARS for a blu-ray copy... one of my all-time favorite movies finally got the HD remastered treament... and of all the movies out there, this was the one that needed it the most... EDIT: just looked it up, since amazon lets you know when you've bought this item ... $11.99... seriously...
  7. @ACIII - shut up, i don't know you... you're fucking LYING TO ME!!! serisously, don't ever talk to me again... also, one month to go!! those naval battles are the proverbial, "dotting the i, or crossing the t" for me... AC is AC but the naval battles are the greatest addition for me in any game in quite some time... and it just so happens to be in a game i have been excited about for almost a year... i am all over this at the end of the month... @crysis3 - bummer that they forced you all to quickly learn the controls for a team deathmatch... it never gave you the chance to absorb the environment, which crysis always begs you to do... i am still convinced the single player game is the shit, but i am bothered that they forced you to play online to experience it all.. i understand their intentions, and even ACIII could of done the same... but bummer man ... i am sure you wanted to play a chapter too... @far cry 3 - still on the fence with this... had fun with 2 but never really went back to it, despite PS+ giving me a free copy months ago... i really love the immersive feeling, and it sounds like 3 really taps more into that... and is actually one of those games that would be fun to play online... i am a sucker for co-op play ...
  8. i see tight pants in the background everywhere... perhaps i should reconsider going to one of these, i might look out of place unless i dress up like dup...
  9. i wonder if your gonna show up in some cosplay articles on facebook from IGN and such ... you get your pic taken with a lot by random people?? your snake eater version is pretty cool looking, makes me even more jealous that one of these things doesn't come to my corner of the world... i'd be there every year...
  10. detroit has given up two kick returns... i shouldn't of picked them, they always find a way to lose...
  11. st. lious - much improved team, possible playoff contender too... oakland - oakland beat the steelers, i think they're starting to click... kansas city - the chargers are hard to predict, but the chiefs had a good week... detroit - this might be a homer pick, but the vikings look pretty decent this year... i picked the home team here... @ostrich boy - those were some god awful uniforms both teams were wearing last night... adidas can't pull it off like nike...
  12. yup, signs of a possible minor concussion... if signs persist going into next week, don't be a fool and play next week... you're better to take a week off from contact... keep practicing and see how it goes... but don't play if your still getting headaches in practice... also, stop getting trashed at parties where you're hungover the next morning on gameday... random pick 'em, folks... here's a few tough-to-predict matchups, let's see what ya got... seattle @ st. louis oakland @denver san diego @ kansas city minnesota @ detroit

    Fallout

is that the dead samurai lying on the ground behind you?? ...
  14. ...and not original since everyone is doing it... do it QD style, whip it out and swing it about... in other news, is bethesda done with skyrim??
  15. welp, i had numerous ravens in last last nights game in two leagues, and scored a monstrous amount of points to start off my week in both... in one of those, i had phil dawson, who had 3 50 yard kicks... if the rest of my players chip in here and there, i will win those... unless my opponents give me their best, which i usually get more than others... in the other one i didn't mention, i only had anquan boldin, who had a pretty good game himself...
  16. what the fuck is the deal with this gangnam shit?? i think it's fucking retarded...
  17. DYNAMITE!! DYNAMITE!! dun dun dun... DYNAMITE!! DYNAMITE!! that sliding door thing on the top is pretty slick though...
  18. http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/09/26/making-assassins-creed-iii-part-2 part two of the IGN behind the scenes series... refining an assassin...
  19. gotcha ... i was always drawing from the bernard berrien calvin johnson rule this whole time, i just never mentioned that since i never call it that... i can't find the clip of the catch i am referring to for bernard berrien since the NFL has banned any video freely anywhere promoting their product (douchebags), but i've been breed to recognize established possession rule... and when the entire world threw their hands up in the air when it happened to CJ a couple years ago, i yelled "NO CATCH!" because we had the same game-winning play taken away from us in 2004... i think that was the year, but we lost a TD catch because he didn't follow thru on the complete possession... the first established rule is new to me, because i have always thought that it didn't matter who first grabbed, it's who comes down with it... it's an important part of an endzone play...
  20. finally, a full explanation from a reliable source... i check out PFT every now and then... while me and others agree with the "calvin johnson rule" as it's happened to my team twice in the last 5 years, that's the rule i was drawing from... you must maintain and show possession throughout the play in the endzone... when both came down together, i figured that the calvin johnson rule was in effect... so the fact that both had the ball warrants the offense the possession... but, like i mentioned earlier in this discussion, i thought someone told me that the first to establish possession was the one that gets the ball... you told me that didn't apply, but it does... so now i retract my earlier statement and now say it was an interception... GB clearly was the 1st to establish possession, but i was always drawing from the bernard berrien, i mean calvin johnson rule... i saw neither establish possession solely... which is why i kept saying the call was right... thanks QD, i really wanted to agree with everyone, but i've seen this happen before so i was in favor with the ruling on the field... but with a full explanation i can now rest in peace...
  21. show me where someone established possession first, no one can prove that... i'm always right, fact... but the fact is, we need the old refs back... this was just the tipping point...
  22. good call then... and there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call from there, i never saw anyone establish possession over the other... in this social media world we live in, we hear everyone's initial reaction when it happens, and in the aftermath we start to hear reason... i still stand by the call on the field... @jobo - russell bellamy, a 4 star prospect and a traditional pocket passing QB... remember, brady hoke is still working with the leftovers from rich rodriquez and his spread philosophy... so he's got this last year of having this electrifying talent... i still want to see him catch a couple of passes before the year is over... he's needs to be converted to a WR/KR in order to succeed at the next level...
  23. i was working and had to watch denard throw pick after pick after pick, then watch the RB throw one on a stupid trick play call in the redzone... there's a TV near the cafe... we live and die with denard robinson, even if he throws 4 picks... we even still had a chance to win... i will miss denard after this season, he's the most exciting player in college football ever, and the next devin hester in the NFL...
  24. yea, talk about putting a cap on one of the biggest rivalries amongst both teams... MSU, OSU and ND are my hated rivalries... and in a few years i will have to laugh at ND from a distance... @QD - here's the greatest catch in college football history in my opinion... this recent thing made me think of this... nothing will ever top it... i think he broke his leg on the play too...
