    i created a couple of other characters but didn't go very far with them... i made an unstable orc bruiser, and an evil dark elf wizard... there's another character sprinkled in there somewhere too... but i think i only logged maybe 10 hours on each file... i put well over 300 hours into my main breton warrior, and almost 200 hours into my silent assassin...

    i only completed the main story and civil war quest on my one main file... with my secondary file it didn't seem fit to care about the war or the pending doom of dragons... she was too distracted by shiny objects in peoples homes... being that my first file was a heroic man of men, he tore through all the main quests in both stories, and in most of the side quests except for the thieves guild and dark brotherhood... i fought for ulfred and the stormcloaks, and as a breton warrior no less... my sneak thief assassin had no part in any of that... she was a bosmer archer and only cared about the thieves guild and dark brotherhood... which will make playing the dragonborn DLC kind of pointless with her... she might get into dawnguard though... fuck, i am excited to play again!!

    crysis 3 and the last of us will prove just how much life is left in this gen of consoles when those gorgeous landscapes hit us in the face... --------------------------- and like the quotes fitty posted said, the next gen uncharted series will usher in the new era of console defining graphics... but there's still a lot of life left in this gen, i would be really surprised if they launched this year...

    GTAIV made me jump into the next gen, i bought my PS3 a month before it came out... if fallout 4 comes out early in the next gen, i will probably be forced to buy into it... there's no way i'm not playing fallout 4...

    it was legit, and one of the best moments in playoffs history... sadly, it's the only year we sniffed success out of the 6 years in a row we made it to the eastern conference finals... came close the following year, but lost to the spurs in the last 5 minutes of game 7 ...

    all the more reason for me to start a new file after i beat them with my two original characters... since GTAV is not 'till fall, i'll have some free time to start my redguard magic/sword jack of all trades guy file... i might end up wasting my summer playing it now...

    we blew out the cavs and traded prince for, in all honesty, a pretty damn good veteran PG in jose calderon... i haven't been sold on brandon knight yet, but holy shit, with the bigs we got, we need a true PG... this trade could possibly put us into the playoffs... we've always had a logjam at the SF position anyways and we just traded two of them... kyle singler is really doing well in that spot... but i will always remember tayshaun prince... a true d-town legend ...

    it was, but it's also like getting a new elder scrolls to me since it's been over 6 months since i last played... there's probably a good 50+ hours of DLC here... i am not worried about that anymore... it's all water under the bridge since i still really want to play this game more...

    that's not true anymore... PS3 numbers caught up with xbox numbers late last year... it all evened out in the end, they just had a rough start to the new gen... as for new consoles this year, i call bullshit... i think both will announce new consoles this year, but neither is willing to give up on this gen just yet with a whole slate of games still left to release... either way, i once again will not be an early buyer... i'll wait it out for a year or two like i did with the PS3... i was thinking though that i might actually wait in line overnight on launch day to buy a few of them, only to sell on ebay to make some $$$$... i'll think about that one...

    it's official.... dragonborn - february 12 hearthfire - february 19 dawnguard - february 26 for US PS3 fans that is, the EU store hasn't announced their dates yet... not sure how steam is handling the PC releases, or if they're already available... all i know is i get them 50% off on launch week for each one... what did these run for on the 360?? looks like february will be all about skyrim again, just like last february ... i literally haven't touched this game in more than 6 months... and now i have a giant TV to play on!! after hating on bethesda during all this time, i am finally ready to forgive them since they are rewarding us with discounts to say they're sorry... i really wanted to play this again, and there was a moment where it seemed like they gave up on the PS3...

    just looked him up, he's even in the hall of fame... career .310 hitter with a few batting titles, and fell about 200 hits short of 3,000... might of only needed another season to reach it with that nice batting average... that's pretty cool, dude...

    ohh i forgot, the new god of war comes out in spring too, that'll be something else to occupy my time... might even pick up max payne 3 to play again if i see it cheap enough... i could play through the story again and dabble in the multiplayer to try and help out the IGTA crew... maybe i will also finally have time to check out that far cry 3 game everyone seems to be talking about... i really really want to play the last of us though... that's priority #1...

    i've spent over 500 hours in skyrim... i don't think i've spent that much time playing the last 12 games i played combined... and i am about to spend probably another 100 hours with the DLC's coming out in february...

    this will give me time to play some of the spring releases that i thought might not get my attention like last of us, crysis 3, and others... september seems like a good window for me, i can't think of anything worth playing around that time...

    a guy i work with keeps talking about this game... i might have to check it out, a FTP MMO set in a sci-fi futuristic world... the only thing in my way is the FPS aspect... but i still might check it out someday soon...

    i post that video every time someone mentions pelicans... i think it's a great name for a team... why not? didn't get to watch any of the games today, pistons and the wolverines... looks like the pistons have lost both back to back games... not a good showing in the last week to be honest... the team is kind of back in a slump after winning some really tough games recently...

    i didn't even make it far into the 2nd mission of silent assassin before i got distracted with other things... i was in the mansion, got spotted running past a guard taking a piss so i shot up the place ... i eventually died, but not before i earned a few trophies, like killing my first innocent person (a maid), a 'silver' headshot one and something else... the graphics look amazing, at least compared to the old old PS2 silent assassin... the controls are old school, so it'll take some getting used to... i remember doing quite well with this game a few months ago, i'm sure it'll come back to me ...
