i am more of a casual smoker these days... in my hey day, i'd burn 3 blunts in a row with you if you were cool... nowadays i can make a quarter last almost 3 weeks if it's that good... if i had a significant other those numbers would be hard to reach... i tend to go for half o's, something to make it at least a month... y'all use jars or am i the only 21st century smoker?? they preserve the weed so much better than a stupid bag or vessel... i even have a medical pill container for traveling light ... the jar and pill container seal the smell too... and with the quality of weed these days, it's soo potent that it needs to be masked somehow... at least, until it's legal for all of course...

nothing in this DLC was a challenge at all... i ran around in ragged robes for a while just to make it challenging... yea, i was a little upset when i first rode a dragon... i thought i was fudging up the controls until i realized i had no control over that... i can only tell him who to attack, which was spotty and pointless too... it took too long to kill an enemy that i would of obliterated with one hit... i actually forgot they added that feature with this add-on until i saw miraak fly off on one... definately not the highlight of dragonborn... i thought the story was pretty good, and the two towns featured are distinct and fun to romp around... i've only been to the mushroom town once, so i got no opinion of that place... i think i'll be heading back there though because the dude that knows about the black books lives there... perhaps i should go after the rest of them before i leave... thirsk mead hall was an interesting questline... however, looking back on it, i should of stuck with my initial instinct and helped the reiklings now that i saw the final outcome for the nords taking the place...

yea apocrypha was pretty sweet...

ask around raven rock for work, there's plenty of it... there's an ash spawn problem, corruption, and the whole closing of the mines too... those would be the main problems plaguing the city... --------------------------- EDIT: wow, what a short main story... i spent a lot more time on the side quests... although, i ended up passing across some valuable items needed during the main quest apparently, which probably saved a bunch of time in that regard... it was fun, and i did get all wrapped up in another elder scroll tale and look forward to building a house next week... i am currently trying to learn how to craft with stalhrim, (probably a meaty quest-line i hope), gotta learn that shit before i head home ... the other positive was the stability of the add-on... it only crashed once... impressive...

i too have been wasting my afternoon playing this instead of doing housework...traveling more is always the right path... exploring is where the fun is... and speaking of fun, i haven't taken a photo in a while... < { iphucked this post!! }

me on the other hand have been spending a lot of time restoring raven rock... so much so, that i now have my own home in that town... good timing too, because my inventory space was getting rather small with all the new goodies... i am still on my first main quest, finding the source of miraak's power... i've been all over the map, cleared probably 10 locations, found a couple black books, and generally done everything except the main quest...

they said making a western game was a crazy idea due to the lack of a market... then R* released red dead redemption and blew everyone away... there's not a market for pirate games because no one has made a proper one... if 'sid meier's pirates!' is still considered to be the best game (released 25 years ago), then it's time for someone to do something about that... @HBW - i have not tried that... i've picked it up a couple of times at the rental store but put it back down, and i did enjoy LEGO star wars... but that's not the kind of pirate game i am looking for... i want an open world RPG pirate game... i think this would be more suited for a company like bethesda, but i do know that if R* took a shot at it, it would be rich in pirate lore and detail... they always do their homework on any project... the only games to get naval combat battle right was assassin's creed and sid meier's pirates... there's plenty of games that have the land stuff right... trading, markets, towns, atmosphere, sword play, crew management, and tomfoolery... but never has one game combined all of that...

made it into soltsteim last night... i wandered around a bit killing some werebears or something, and cleaned out a dragon lair... i didn't get to play a lot last night but i took the day off form work to play it today... i still have to work my other job tonight, but i should have plenty of time to play a bunch of this... is it just me or are the graphics a lot smoother in dragonborn??

i probably won't watch too many more videos on this game... i get it now, i know what the enemies are, and i also read somewhere that you will probably die a lot... well, in the later levels of the uncharted series, i died a lot too ... can't make it super easy on us now...

unfortunately here in the states, it's still going for nearly $60... a year later and it's still expensive... but when you think about it, this is one of the rare few games that pack so much into it that you could easily pay $100 for it still... EDIT: there's a new update on the PS3, getting us ready for the DLC... fucking christ, there's a ton of new trophies to get... looks like i'll be busy for a couple of months then...

breton is a great choice for a warrior/tank style, it's what my original character is... their automatic magic resistance (25% i think) makes it easier early on when you're faced with wizards and people that try to put spells on you... plus, in the end, they can really round out nicely into a true warrior... here's a place to break down the character classes to help you better decide on a race... think about the style of play you want to do and find a race that best matches up with those skills... http://elderscrolls....es_%28Skyrim%29 this website will be all you need to play this game... stuck?? look up the area or the quest here... http://elderscrolls....com/wiki/Skyrim bookmark it... plus, you have us for when you have questions... work on smithing as much as possible early on... it's one of the most important skills in skyrim, no matter what race you choose for your character... all weapons and armor can be created with this skill, and all weapons are armor can be improved with this skill... also, bring a pickaxe with you when you first get your hands on one... caves all across skyrim hold ore just waiting to be mined for smithing...

so i fired this up last night to get reaquianted with the controls... i forgot how bad ass my breton warrior was... i hiked up to a dragon lair wearing nothing but ragged clothes... killed the blood dragon with two hits and barely lost any health... my biggest thing to get used to again is navigation... too many times i didn't see enemies until they saw me... that's not gonna fly in the new areas for dragonborn... tomorrow baby!! unless it's delayed, which actually wouldn't be a surprise to me... at all...

i am the same way, gtagrl... things like that take me out of the role of the main characters when that happens... if you personalize him, it should be reflected in the world... this was never an issue in past AC's...

yea, why haven't they fixed that yet?? does this mean the cutscenes were handled as cinematic instead of in-game stuff? perhaps all the videos were made with him wearing the traditional robe and they can't fix that... either way, yea, it really sucks...
