yea, those guys weren't worth listening to at all in that pic video... i cringed when he said there wasn't swimming in san andreas... and they spent more time trying to crack stupid jokes at each other instead of taking the time to look over the images... colin and greg are all business and a little humor... these guys have no business and were going for all humor...

you sound impatient, i've sunk too many hours into all these characters to even discuss how petty a 30 minute opening is... it takes 30 minutes to get thru the talking robots in fallout new vegas: old world blues every time, yet i still do it... you can always work on that skill on the side while you continue on with your current nord story... every single character in the game can be anything, picking a race at the beginning is only there to help you stick with an early blueprint to get through the learning curve... i picked breton the first time, who are better suited as mages, but because of their natural magic resistance i saw potential in a warrior who could withstand a little more than others and turned him into a warrior... but he can also do magic, it's just become a minor skill... i hope to balance both with this current redguard....

i'm just a sucker for landscape shots... the action shots are cool and all, but this one here tells me a whole lot about the game... i see a town way way off in the distance in the center (correct me if i am wrong), and i see nothing but wilderness stretching as far as the eye can see... los santos is behind this shot, you're looking at trevor territory here, where he hunts deer with his bare hands...

me too, why i am about to kill a million more in a few minutes... i am still stoked about this game though, every vet here knows how much i love pirates and have posted over and over how much i like that era... and that R* or someone needs to revive the pirate genre... i've bitched and moaned that sid meier's pirates! from 20 years ago was still the best pirate game... with tropico 2: pirate's cove (which isn't even a fucking pirate game but a simcity game) is 2nd and risen 2: dark waters from last year is in 3rd place and their isn't even a sea portion to the game... i want a fucking good pirate game now!! i've got great faith in what i have already seen, and those naval battles in AC3 were by far the coolest parts of the game... it also explains why connor and his pops knew their way around a ship obviously... it's something AC3 didn't explore much of, hence the new game obviously...

I'm assuming that's your Redguard mage/swordsman rocking a katana? ... it is him... it's also the blades sword, which i found in delphine's hidden room on a weapon rack... still currently the best sword i have access to... on my sneak thief wood elf i never even touched the main story... learned i was dragonborn from the greybeards and decided to say fuck it to saving the world... became a thief and joined the dark brotherhood instead... following the main story or the civil war story didn't make much sense for that style of character... the world may be open to me, but i roleplay who the character really is as a person... it makes sense for my redguard to dabble in the civil war and choose the legion... it's for honor and glory, not the freedom of the people... he's not even nord anyways... it's why i chose the stormcloaks the first time, it was to free the world from tyranny and to restore worship of talos, despite being breton... roleplay isn't done by how the game tells you to do it, it's your choice in a game like skyrim... kudos to sticking to your guns and staying away from it for the longest time... like you said, it didn't apply to your character... but maybe now he's getting bored and looking for a new adventure like you said?? that's how i treated the DLC's with my original character... he was bored, tired of clearing out bandit camps lol...

level 13 niggas... REPREZENT!! G'd up from the feet up... das how i roll in dis hold... thinking about heading back to solitude to hear out the imperials... kinda wondered after the party if i could ever make the blades and imperials co-exist... the thalmor made it perfectly clear where they stand on the matter but i wonder if i should build up the blades while working with the imperials... i have ignored both factions so far with all of my characters... oh, almost forgot... a giant spawned outside of my hearthfire home near solitude, i wasn't even close to it's level so i had to keep running from it... finally got it cornered when i dove in the water to watch him retreat, then hit him with fire until he got close again... this went on for a few minutes...

so that really happened... i did kill the dragon but in the mass chaos of only having magic to work with and party clothes on, i pissed off some town guards i lit on fire and they finished me off... literally, right after i was handed my party clothes the dragon interrupts our conversation ...

exactly, how can a game about throwing a football around feel new either?? it gets boring if you're not adding new courses and new character ideas and such... it's been the same damn courses and the same damn character models and textures and physics... it gets old when nothing really changes... that's why playing a game like hotshots gives you a different way to play it...

i used to play tiger woods all the time... but i've probably logged more hours in hotshots golf lately than tiger's game... seems like 08 was the last one i owned... they're entertaining for a golf fan like myself, but they've run their "course" for me... the sad part of EA sports is you get tired of the same thing over and over, and as much as you enjoyed it, you start to get tired of it...

i want to hear about a limited edition collector's edition... exclusive missions and weapons (ship) are the norm for AC gamestop pre-orders... i watched the IGN rewind version of trailer too, i am really impressed at the moment... time will tell just how impressive this game is, but i think they're doing a good job of capturing the look and feel of being a pirate... it's got me stoked!! EDIT: didn't realize the collectors edition was on the video above!! fuck me i want that!! you gotta order thru ubisoft then?? EDIT2: i screen-capped a couple dozen shots from the trailer only because i wanted to find a new desktop background and facebook cover image... http://s54.photobuck...dam/library/ac4 here's some notables; --- it is still AC after all, expect a lot of this... --- i love this one... --- colin moriarty talked about how this was like far cry 3 in this scene, i am sure there's plenty of them working on this game too... i bet a lot of their influence created the ecosystem of the woods in AC3... not sure who this guy is... outfit looks of french origin, but pirates often used gear and outfits from all races... calico jack perhaps?? epic shot right der... --- it was hard to capture, but the chest starts glowing right after the background scene collapses... not sure what to make of that... colin moriarty (one of the reasons why i love IGN) is a huge history buff and mentioned earlier in the rewind that a great spanish fleet was lost in a hurricane full of vast amounts of gold around the time of this game, could also be a big part of the story... i kinda forgot about that, perhaps you're collecting that booty throughout the game... --- --- i thought this was the best moment in the trailer captured perfectly... look at that intensity... ---

silent hill: revelations - i should of heeded the advice of all of you and not watched it... it ruined the future of the series for me, just like resident evil did to the first one... i expected a little entertainment and attention to the environment, but they were just trying to go for the 3D shock and awe thing... weak... 13 - an underground russian roulette gambling tournament... the premise alone was worth the watch, and while it wasn't all that good, it was still watchable... the unknowing main character added to the lore... harold and kumar christmas - i didn't realize it took this long to see the new one, but now i see why... crap... i won't even watch the 4th because we all know they both will have kids and blah blah... kal penn should of stayed at the white house, making this film wasn't worth the resignation IMO... men in black 3 - while better than the 3rd harold and kumar, it was still just meh... i had to at least check it out, now i know what it was all about... cheers to josh brolin though, he pulled off the perfect young tommy lee jones ...
