yes. it is beautiful. I'm worried I've just over done it by spending a lot of time with the drake collection before the release of 4. but I can't help but feel a little let down by the game. I kinda felt the same to a lesser degree with 3 but I really feel they have dumbed 4 down for the great unwashed masses

Up to chapter 11 now, and I have to say I'm whelmed. the settings are beautiful and the mechanics have been polished well from the last game. The problem I'm having is the game thinks I'm an idiot. The path to travel is way too obvious. I have missed big chunks of dialogue because I'm having a look around and accidentally triggered the next cut screen thinking "it can't be this way it's too obvious and right at the entrance to the chamber" This game holds your hand WAY too much as well. before I have a chance to look around in a puzzle room, my companion is giving me not very subtle hints about how to progress. The slide mechanic is wildly overused and, so far at least, the grappling hook is under used. I have heaps more to say but I have to play game two of the finals against the Cav's Suns Win 4-0

Finally picked up number 4 on the weekend. I have somehow managed to avoid spoilers up to this point too. Go me!

Saw on Reddit that this has just gone gold. Hopefully it can live up to the hype. Honestly, I think this is going to be a niche game probably with a really abrasive core group to it's cult following.

Picked up the Nathan Drake collection for $40 on my second playthrough already. Tbh I skipped the first one second time round. Pretty impressed with the remastered versions. They even fixed the woeful collision detection in the first game. Looking forward to 4 but I'm going to see iron maiden next weekend so the budget's stretched pretty thin right now.

That was terrible. I was truly on edge for the first 3Rd of Degans monologue. Then I found myself starting to drift after about 5 minutes. He went from controlling and menacing to crazy old uncle rambling about how kids these days have no respect. That monologue was way too drawn out. Any tension the scene had by the entrance of degan. Which was a lot was destroyed by how long he waffled about how much better it was in his day. 2 out of 5 wildly inflated writers egos.

I always bugged me that I can't remove the other houses at sanctuary Hills. I would really like to clear them all and make a giant mead hall. This would please Odin.

I picked up Enders Game randomly on holiday recently and couldn't put it down. I'm struggling with speaker of the dead though. Such a huge leap between the two books. Even between most of enders game and the last 2 chapters. I have to say, he should have let the character go and made the subsequent books stand alones. But I guess enders name alone was enough to sell the next book. Yes, I'm very cynical.

Today is the first day the disc has come out of my ps4 since the day I got this game. Don't get me wrong I'm not done I'm only level 17 on my wecond play through I'm just impressed. No other game has held my exclusive interest since gta5 launched.

This episode pissed me off. This group are supposed to be veteran survivors. "hey guys, lets just go storm this heavily fortified camp with no fucking recon whatsoever!" i get that rick in the TV show is much more reactionary but that was just fucking stupid.

I used companions just for their perks on the first playthrough. But I didn't find curie until I was bobblehead hunting after finishing the story also I never teamed up with the courser companion because I was paranoid he would rat me out for playing both sides. God that sounds stupid when I read it back. But he's a courser and my first was a railroad affiliated character.
