Or riding off the Empire State Building lookalike on a motorbike and surviving. Hella fun though, I stand by my previous post. -

Should be ordering the rest of the components for my rig on tuesday. I'm getting more money than I expected so now I am going for an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 mobo, i5 3570k and a GTX 670. -

^This. GTAIV got it about right IMO. -
I can just about remember watching Colin Baker on the telly when I was about 4 or 5. After that it was Sylvester McCoy, of course and then I have seen just about every film and rerun before that. Lost track since the second David Tenant series though.

Well, if you go by reviews, 81% on metacritic is a pretty good score. Metro and Crysis are popular for benchmarks because they have a built-in benchmark mode which gives far more reproducable numbers than running through the game with Fraps, for instance. Metro is actually generally perceived as being poorly optimised, btw.

I know, those are the figures stated in the article. For the £1000+ model, given the GPU, I would hazard a guess at about 20fps or a little more @ 720p. *Edit* TechRadar benchmark:
-
You'll shit yourself when you read about it's performance though; 30fps in Battlefield 3... Although for that, you'd have to buy the £1000+ version. I can already see it will be quite popular with the gullible masses, even though you can get the same level of performance from a PS3 costing less than a third of the price.

^ XD This is what I think. I've not done a play through as a vampire yet, because they are.. well, shite. But this looks like a good place to start; reminds me of the vampire off Underworld 2. *Edit* Some interesting points on here that I missed.
-
No, you're probably thinking of the X51. It's a slimline PC range starting at £700.
-
Vampires done properly too. My PC should be ready for this in a couple of weeks as well.
-
You'd do yourself (and your wallet) a big favour by avoiding prebuilt setups like Alienware.

I assume you mean the graphics card? In most cases with laptops (even with dedicated graphics solutions), it is difficult, if not impossible to upgrade the graphics. Dells are also notoriously poor on the upgrade front, so your friend is probably right I'm afraid. You may be able to overclock it, this would probably have a very negative effect on temperature though.
-
Sounds good, will have to wait to try it though, I'm not using my laptop for gaming anymore.

This guy does a load of Metal remixes of game themes.

GTA 5 Vehicle List Allegedly Leaked

Absolutely, but apparently you didn't, nor my reply to it. Anyway that's as much as I am going to say on the subject. Re read my posts a few times though, they might sink in. -

Of course I read it. What proof? Proof that the list exists? We all know this already, but there is no proof, and read this bit very carefully because it's important; that this list has anything to do with GTA5. -

Maybe, consider the source though. I would rather be an "EVERYTHING IS BULLSHIT" n00b than a "ZOMG I BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTRAWEBZ RIGHT AWAY WITHOUT QUESTION!11!1!" n00b anyday though. Btw, the thing about "Ockham's" Razor is that it "urges one to select among competing hypotheses that which makes the fewest assumptions and thereby offers the simplest explanation of the effect. Instead, you assume that this has to do with GTA5 based on no evidence whatsoever.... Look Ma, I can use Wikipedia too!1!!!! -

I was thinking more along the lines of a V8. "Ricey," I know lol, but It has good enough performance for what I want to do with it, and as an added bonus it will match my case nicely. -

So Rockstar put a fake list of GTA cars in Max Payne 3? Also: ^I'm aware of this, which is why I edited my post... I'm sure there there is a list of cars in Max Payne, but apparently I must have missed the part in big bold text saying "THESE CARS ARE FOR GTA5." -

Well, having looked these up; the XMS3 set has slightly higher voltage, but is about a fiver cheaper and also leaves more room for CPU cooling. Think I will probably go with these because as mentioned, I only really picked the Vengeance kit as I was familiar with it.
