  1. Of course I read it. What proof? Proof that the list exists? We all know this already, but there is no proof, and read this bit very carefully because it's important; that this list has anything to do with GTA5.
  2. Maybe, consider the source though. I would rather be an "EVERYTHING IS BULLSHIT" n00b than a "ZOMG I BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTRAWEBZ RIGHT AWAY WITHOUT QUESTION!11!1!" n00b anyday though. Btw, the thing about "Ockham's" Razor is that it "urges one to select among competing hypotheses that which makes the fewest assumptions and thereby offers the simplest explanation of the effect. Instead, you assume that this has to do with GTA5 based on no evidence whatsoever.... Look Ma, I can use Wikipedia too!1!!!!
  3. I was thinking more along the lines of a V8. "Ricey," I know lol, but It has good enough performance for what I want to do with it, and as an added bonus it will match my case nicely.
  4. So Rockstar put a fake list of GTA cars in Max Payne 3? Also: ^I'm aware of this, which is why I edited my post... I'm sure there there is a list of cars in Max Payne, but apparently I must have missed the part in big bold text saying "THESE CARS ARE FOR GTA5."
  5. Well, having looked these up; the XMS3 set has slightly higher voltage, but is about a fiver cheaper and also leaves more room for CPU cooling. Think I will probably go with these because as mentioned, I only really picked the Vengeance kit as I was familiar with it.
  6. How much snow is there in California? Edit: NVM, I still don't think there's enough compelling evidence to believe that this is anything but fake.
  7. Yeah, I should be getting about £800 off my Nan in a few weeks time, so I thought I'd start with things like the case and the desk and chair up until then as I can make use of them in the meantime. Really I just chose the Corsair RAM because I'm familiar with it, but will look into XMS3.
  8. Ok, should be getting a bit of money soon plus with very frugal budgeting think I can spare between £80 - £90 per week, so I have decided I am going to make a start on my build tomorrow. Here's what I'm thinking about so far. Most of it is subject to change except the CPU, GPU and case. Cooler Master Storm Enforcer Mid ATX Case: For a Mid ATX case, this has some nice features and oodles of room for aftermarket cooling as well as excellent cable management, all at a very reasonable price. Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 Mobo: This board is packed full of features, and will allow me to OC if I feel the need to as well as go SLi in the future. A bit more expensive than the board I was originally looking at, but given the upgradeability, should save money in the long run. Intel i5 2500k: Best performance/price ratio, simple as that. MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II: Not the newest card on the market, but I have seen a fair few videos of this running Crysis 2, Skyrim and even Battlefield 3 in High/Ultra settings with very respectable framerates. Excellent reviews across the net. 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz RAM Corsair TX750: 80+ certified, Mid Range PSU at a competitive pricepoint. As an added bonus, should leave a bit of headroom for a mild OC, if I decide to. Along with a monitor, keyboard and mouse, new desk and chair and a few other extras, it will probably come in at about £1150 - £1300 at a very rough estimate. Not the cheapest build ever, but I'm quite happy with the components I have looked at and it should see me right for at least a couple of years.
  9. I used to have a pretty intensive training regime, mainly because I used to box and secondly because it also has a positive effect mentally and can help keep your mind sharp and even combat depression. You can get most of these benefits from as little 15-20 mins exercise a week though, so really it doesn't have to take up much time. Since having kids, my general health has gone downhill though, but soon all three girls will be at school so I will start working out more frequently again.
  10. Not bad at all for the money, but I would spend a bit more on the mobo for the sake of upgradability. I'm going for this one in my next build, It seems a good compromise between affordability and features, the only real downside is there's no support for SLI, but I'm not interested in running multiple displays, so I don't mind. *Edit* Just realised it's the same as Ast's.

    Diablo III

Apparently there's an error 36 thing going about whereby if you trade a shield or something with a specific character using one specific class (can't remember which) it forces you out of the game. Think I might wait at least a few months before buying this.
  12. Eh? Mine are all spread out over more than twenty five years. I'm definately not rich.
  13. In chronological order; Some crappy old MS DOS PC that only ran text adventures, Master System, NES, Megadrive, Gameboy, SNES, Atari 2600, Windows 95 PC, Nintendo 64, PS1, Windows 98 Laptop PS2, XP PC, PSP, PS3, Several more Laptops that were useless for gaming, Xbox 360, another Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, two netbooks, another PS3, Two more 360s, a third PS3, and my current Laptop. Plus more mobile phones than I can remember, 2 Ipod touches and a Blackberry Playbook if you consider these gaming devices.
  14. I've seen it, definately one of the better remake movies I have seen. The last film I watched was called The Horseman and it had a fairly similar plot;

    Diablo III

Lol, my laptop struggles, but runs Skyrim at about 18 - 25fps with everything on low, and mods running to reduce textures of leaves, snow etectera. If there's a great amount of activity on screen it dips down to as low as 8fps and it makes my laptop uber hot as well, so I have stopped trying to play it. Diablo is somewhat less intensive than Skyrim though, to be fair.
  16. I have a weight bench with about 320kg of weights in various sizes. I haven't really done much lately as the weather has been shite and they are in my back garden, but I generally bench about 50 - 60kg in sets of 20. Not sure what the max I can bench is anymore.
  17. Can't find much on the net, but it appears to be an Intel g33 express chipset, which I think is ATX.
  18. Looks good, the power supply could be a problem though; ideally you want 500w at the bare minimum. Depends on a number of factors; how much physical room is there inside your case for air to circulate? How much ventilation (ie; vents) is there in the case? And I'm guessing that being a Dell, it doesn't have any extra case fans included?
  19. No, just singleplayer. As I read it, SWTOR still has about 1.3 million subscribers. I don't think they'll be closing down the servers just yet.
  20. Edgecrusher: Edge: I'm pretty much as far from straightedge as you can get. Definition number four for Edge looks like it could've actually been written for me by some butthurt proud american though.
  21. Trying to get the money together to build a new desktop, so I will buy it for PC. My laptop runs Skyrim, but it runs pretty hot, so I don't want to risk it.

    cvg

CVG have been around since Pong. ^This. It's as old as I am... In magazine form, at least.
  23. It's a ridiculous comparison anyway, as I said before; they are two very different genres. I'm about 98% sure GTA is not coming out this year anyway so the answer's still no reguardless of whether I think GTA5 is going to be better or I want it to outsell CoD.
