  1. First one sounds familiar, not sure why... Awesome vid.
  2. My Indie game collection is limited to Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Garry's Mod and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Not really a fan of casual gaming, though there seems to be a few good core indie games appearing on steam lately. I rarely play games on my Android phone, I tend to just use it to check the time more than anything else.
  3. Got my eye on a 60" Sharp 3D LED smart tv, gonna see what happens in a few months first though.
  4. Queen Boudicca was from very near to where I grew up.
  5. Don't think you need to play the first two really, it's new characters in a new location. If you play and enjoy it though, it is definately worth picking up the first two at some point as they are both very good games and not too expensive now either.

    Bioshock

Not sure why we haven't got a Bioshock topic, so i'm making one. Anyway, as the title suggests, this thread will be for discussion of all things Bioshock, including the new game; Infinite, of which I just found a nice preview: source
  7. Who qualifies that then, GTAForums? In terms of stunting, I'd have to say BenBuja is probably the best I've seen, but that's just my opinion.
  8. Better off playing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch/mH0vH5ZJDCw#!
  9. It's set in the year 2025 against a Nicaraguan terrorist, pretty sure there's no Russians in this one at all, but I might not have been paying close enough attention. Still, I agree, it's not the best game ever, but it's also not as bad as it is made out to be. I can't see them using Vietnam, but as far as I know there's never been an FPS set in WW1, would be interesting.
  10. I bought it on the strength of this review; It's actually so bad it's kind of ok.
  11. 1. PSN doesn't get taken down everyday, that happened like once last year, just like it happened to XBL the other year as well... 2. I've never had an update take more than a few seconds either, but then I have fast-ish internet, which is what makes a difference. There is no difference within the consoles as they both use the same hardware in terms of networking.
  12. Looks nice, but I have to say the logic in altering a good design to suit people who are used to a poor design eludes me. Xbox users just need to learn to game with less input lag.
  13. I have 416 hours on PC according to Steam. Not sure about PS3, but I'm pretty sure it was well over 300, so about 700 hours altogether. I actually feel proud to have wasted that much of my life.
  14. I got Dawnguard and Hearthfire, so may as well get Dragonborn. Plus, it looks to be the best DLC yet. TBH though, I would've been a lot more disillusioned with it had I still been playing on PS3.
  15. ^ This, plus no doubt there will be other games that I buy this year and I also have a shit ton of games waiting to be played on Steam.
  16. ^That's called value for money, how many other games can you put 100+ hours into and still discover new stuff? In the time it takes you to play a Bethesda game, you could probably buy another ten games and complete them, sure, but you would've also spent about £400.

    PS4

I like the sound of the controllers, the rest is kind of meh.
  18. No, lots of Edgecrushers on tinternet. That's right, I will take it to my grave.... Wait...
  19. ^ That's like saying GTA has cars in it....
  20. I have a 55" Baird (think it's a discount version of Phillips), but it probably won't get used for gaming until GTA5 comes out. I have a 24" Samsung PC monitor, that's where the magic happens.

    Tomb Raider

If this is as good as the old PS1 games, I will probably buy it. Looks intredasting.
  22. I play the shit out of any game with hunting in it, It's Red Dead's fault.
  23. Depends on the hardware as to whether it will be able to run it, but I'd imagine they will develop it so that it can run the majority of games on at least medium settings.
  24. It's since been confirmed that the device in that video is not the Steam Box, which is good news because the price of that Piston thingy is about $1000. The actual Steam Box (whenever it comes out) will be priced to compete with the next gen consoles.
